I walked into my small apartment and dumped my school things onto the couch.
I was finally able to relax a bit.
I splayed on my stomach across the couch and closed my eyes for only a moment.
I snapped my eyes back open, "what are you, a stalker?" I asked drily.
"Haha, your senses are sharp," Wen says walking in from my front door.
This guy has no sense of shame, does he?
I sat up on the couch to glare at him, "what are you doing following me here?" I asked him.
He crossed his arms while looking around, "just wanted to see how my master's granddaughter lived. To think I'd find you living in such a small apartment." He says.
I frowned at him, "I live humbly, you have a problem?" I asked him threading my fingers through my hair.
"Not particularly. Just curious, why would you choose to live this way when your grandfather has the money to help you live lavishly?" He wondered rubbing his chin.
"Simple, it's because it's not mine in general. I want to build success that is my own." I pointed out. It was the only way I can truly call myself powerful.
'You make it sound easy, may I stay by your side and witness how you come about this success?" He asked.
This man only met me a few days ago, why was he so curious?
"And what if I don't succeed?" I asked though that was not my worry.
Wen sits down in a nearby chair, "I doubt a girl like you would take it lying down. If you don't succeed, you'll just try again until you do." He says.
It's almost like he could read me inside and out.
"Alright then, I'll let you follow me. But here's a deal, if I succeed and you still want to follow me, then you'll have to treat me like your boss." I pointed out.
Wen smiles, "sure, why not. It'll be interesting to work for someone younger than me." he agrees.
I'm not sure if letting him get involved with my problems was a great idea, but why not use the person grandfather told me to get along with?
I stood and made my way over to the refrigerator, "since you're here I'll prepare you something to eat." I told him while pulling out several food items to make a hot pot.
"Ooh, to think a rich young lady would know her way around the kitchen." He teased.
I rolled my sleeves up and washed my hands, "I wasn't always a rich young lady." I muttered.
Wen stared at her, he wonders what she went through to make such a face.
He leaned back in the chair and watched her make food as if she had been in a kitchen her whole life.
Once the meal was in front of him, he couldn't help but dig in greedily.
The taste, was like heaven splashed holy blessings on this meal.
I sat down and chuckled, it looks like he enjoys the meal, and I'm glad.
An hour later Wen was rubbing his now full belly, "that was delish, I should come over to your house more often." He says.
I scowled at him, "don't," I said.
He laughs before standing to stretch, "alright, alright. Don't get your panties in a bunch." He says checking his watch suddenly.
"Looks like I should head home, how about you get some rest." He tells me.
"Fine, just return in two days, I should be prepared for our first mission by then," I told him following him to the front door.
"I see, I'll be sure to be here." He waves at me on the way out my front door.
I closed it and made my way to my bedroom where my computer and desk were.
It was time for my first move, if I want to become powerful I must first find a worthy talent.
Well, thanks to my time on the streets I already have a good idea of who I should find.
More like the talent I need, I'm still not sure who I'm looking for exactly.
I glanced at the computer corner for the time and confirmed the person I wanted should be making their move now.
I cracked my fingers, I have to work fast if I want to trap them.
I smiled maliciously at my computer and began to hack the servers of a mediocre, but well-known Company known as LC Industry.
They're a pharmaceutical company that tends to raise the prices of medicines for senior care citizens.
That person should be trying to hack their servers right about now, right?
I must catch them no matter what!
I began a little cat and mouse game with the famous person that's been successfully hacking not only small-time companies but large ones as well.
I grin when I finally got that person in a tight corner, looks like my months of learning hacking skills paid off well.
I'm still not as good as the person I'm trying to catch, but with a simple little trick, I managed to corner them.
Let's connect by sending them a message now that I found their location.
Hacker's Perspective
Inside a messy room filled with trash and wasted food, a dark figure can be seen hunched in front of a computer.
"Who the hell is this person?" The voice spoke while typing fiercely.
It was their first time in such a situation, to get cornered so easily like this.

Hacker'sRevenge: Who is this?
UnknownMaster: There's no need for me to tell you right now, Ain.
"What the, how the hell did this person know my name? This is way too suspicious. I should end this before something bad happens." The voice mutters.
The hacker clicked and typed as fast as possible doing their best to destroy the enemy.
It was futile and the chatroom popped up again.
Chat Room
UnknownMaster: How impressive, you're quite talented. Don't be afraid Ain, I'm not your enemy.
Hacker'sRevenge: How do you know my name?
Hacker'sRevenge: Are you the police?
UnknownMaster: Haha, those louts would have never been able to find you! No, I'm more or less a boss.
Hacker'sRevenge: Boss? That does not matter to me, whatever you're offering I won't accept!
UnknownMaster: That is where you are wrong. I have something that you want.
Hacker'sRevenge: That's impossible!
UnknownMaster: You want revenge for the companies that had a hand in killing your family right?
The hacker stared at the words in shock, this person even know that?
The hacker began chewing his thumbnail nervously and began to type again.
Chat Room
Hacker'sRevenge: Seriously! Who the fuck is this?
UnknownMaster: You're asking the wrong questions. How about this, I'll let you in on a little secret.
UnknownMaster: The feds know your location, if you wish to stay out of prison, I'd advise you to listen to me.
Hacker'sRevenge: How? Didn't you say that the police wouldn't be able to find me?
UnknownMaster: Not without help, say, I don't know....me.
The hacker slams their fist on the desk in anger.
What the hell is with this damned lunatic!?
Should they find another way?
It was clear that whoever this was could be someone out for their life.
Chat Room
UnknownMaster: Are you scared? If so then you should just ignore me and wait for the feds to come.
Hacker'sRevenge: ...
Hacker'sRevenge: Alright, I'll come.
UnknownMaster: What a great decision, meet me here and I have to warn you. Don't try anything stupid.
UnknownMaster sent an email to Hacker'sRevenge.
UnknownMaster logged off.
The hacker clicked on the email with the address and wrote it down on a piece of paper.
They stood and gathered what is needed and turned off their computer before leaving out their room.
An older woman looked u from the stove to look at the dark figure.
"Ain, are you leaving somewhere?" She asked.
"Yeah, don't wait up for me." The hacker answered while heading to the front door and stepping out after a long time.
Their destination was the Fellows Apartments on Driver's Lane, it's a bit of a drive.
