"So, what brings you here?" King Jaren asked fondly, patting Mana and Raven on the head and then, he peeled some fruits for them and handed over to the two human children as well.

Mana and Raven accepted the fruits gleefully – due to Azar's insistence, all of them were now fully convinced that the fruits from King Jaren's secret garden space was actually far tastier than the fruits which grew anywhere else! And this was despite Mana and Raven planting seeds from the same trees that were there in King Jaren's secret garden space in their own secret space.

And thus, the two adult humans, the two child humans and the two baby dragons, representing three generations of the royal family of the Emerald Kingdom, happily sat and ate fruits while they chatted – and the most powerful man in the Emerald Kingdom, the man with the highest authority in the Emerald Kingdom, sat and peeled and sliced fruits for his little family like a common henpecked husband and adoring father and indulgent grandfather.

And King Jaren felt that he hadn't been so happy in decades with this simple thing. The only thing missing was the presence of Jules and Bella – and then, suddenly, as if on cue, there was another knock at the door, and Jules and Bella walked in.

King Jaren felt that his heart was now complete and he silently handed out cut fruits to Jules and Bella as well.

"We wanted to discuss the matter of going to visit Ma's master, actually," Mana said finally, putting down her plate. She had the smallest appetite out of everyone in their family and she felt quite full after eating the first plate of fruits.

King Jaren knew this, and he continued handing out fruits to everyone else, while listening to Mana.

"Is it about Aqi?" King Jaren asked.

Mana and Raven nodded.

King Jaren turned to Queen Dora. "How long will the trip to visit your master take?" he asked.

"It will take a moment to get there and a moment to come back," Queen Dora replied. "Once we are there, however, I don't know how long it will take myself. My master is a bit – well – for the lack of a better word – eccentric. If he is in a good mood, we can be back in a couple of hours, and if he is in a bad mood and we need to cajole him – it may even take days. Also, we don't know what we will find – and if there is a cursed living ghost corpse on the loose, then we may have to spend some time finding the cursed living ghost corpse as well, right? And we may have to make preparations as well…"

"So…it will take a while," King Jaren murmured, tapping his chin thoughtfully.

Queen Dora shrugged. "It might," she said. "I'm afraid I don't have an accurate answer for that, Jaren."

King Jaren sighed. "In that case, we should split up," he suggested. "I have to bring Alya back to the Emerald Kingdom to get her royal pendant from the sacred ancestral chamber. I'll take Raven, Aqi and Rook with me – along with Alya, of course. Dora, you take Bella, Jules, Mana and Azar with you to visit your master."

"Azar will go with Grandpapa," the little black dragon spoke up. His tone brooked no arguments, and everyone knew from the stubborn little face that he was currently making that a huge tantrum would immediately be thrown if they tried to persuade little Azar to leave his Grandpapa and go with his Grandmama instead.

"I'll also go with you, Papa," Mana spoke up. If Azar was insisting on going with King Jaren, then there would be some danger around – and while she knew that Raven and General Aquila would protect her father – she didn't want to leave it only to them.

Jules nodded, tapping his chin in a manner that was common to King Jaren, Jules and Mana. "That makes sense," he murmured. "Bella and I can go with Ma to visit her master, and Papa can take Mana and Raven and Azar and Alya and General Aquila and Rook back to the Emerald Kingdom to get the royal family pendant for Alya."

"Or we could all go to the Emerald Kingdom first, and then go to visit my master from there," Queen Dora said. "For me, the starting location doesn't matter – it's the same whether we go from the Sapphire Kingdom or the Emerald Kingdom." Her face softened. "And I haven't been home for a long time…"

"All right, that sounds good, too," Bella agreed hurriedly, afraid that King Jaren and Queen Dora would become sad again if they started thinking about their painful past. "We can use the royal array we have connected to the imperial palace of the Emerald Kingdom – it'll just take a few minutes to add Ma to it."

"Excellent," Jules added quickly. "That makes a lot of sense – we can all go home first and then we can head out directly from there to find Ma's master, and then come back here as soon as we can. And then we will all start our journey to the Amber Kingdom together in three days."

No one had any objections to it – in fact, Mana, Jules, Raven and Bella were quite relieved at the thought of not having to split up. They didn't want to leave their Papa alone for too long, and clearly, the danger had not yet passed since Azar was still being clingy.

"We have to speak to Aqi and Rook," King Jaren said.

"They should be coming here soon," Raven said. "Mana and I spoke to Rook earlier before we came here, and we asked him to fetch Father Aqi and come here."

Once again, as if on cue, there was a knock on the door and General Aquila appeared with Rook in tow.

And then, General Aquila and Rook caught sight of Queen Dora.

General Aquila froze. "Dora…?" he asked shakily. "You – you were alive? Where have you been? Why did you leave Jaren alone and hide away? Did you know how he…" He trailed off at a warning glare from King Jaren.

King Jaren briefly explained how they had found Queen Dora the previous night, and General Aquila was stunned. Then he patted King Jaren on the shoulder.

"I'm glad you could reunite with your heart, Jaren," he said softly.

King Jaren smiled slightly.

General Aquila looked at Queen Dora. "I hope you won't have to do something like this again," he said sincerely, his dark eyes glowing. "Now you have a lot of friends and family, and we are all here for you – so please don't abandon Jaren like that again in the future, no matter what happens. Whatever problems may arise, we will get together and solve it together, all right? All our children are wonderful and much smarter and much more talented than we ever were – and I am sure that there is no hurdle that we will not be able to overcome with the help of our children and grandchildren."

Queen Dora stared at General Aquila in silence for a while and then nodded. "Thank you for that, Aqi. It is good to see you again, although it has been many years. I am glad that you were able to marry the one you loved so much," she said softly.

General Aquila grinned happily. "So – what's the plan?" he asked.

"We are planning to go back to the Emerald Kingdom first to get the royal family pendant for Alya from the sacred ancestral chamber," King Jaren said. "Then some of us will visit Dora's mysterious master and see if he can be of any help with the matter of the cursed living ghost corpse. Then we will decide what to do, based on whether we learn anything useful from him. In any case, three days later, we will set off for the Amber Kingdom from here."

General Aquila nodded, grateful for the immediate support granted to the Obsidian Kingdom by the Emerald Kingdom and the Sapphire Kingdom – it would come as quite a shock to the Amber Kingdom's citizenry when they saw how close the people of the Obsidian Kingdom were to the people of the Emerald Kingdom and the Sapphire Kingdom – and they owed all this entirely to little Raven, who had single handed managed to bridge the huge chasm between the Obsidian Kingdom and the other four great Kingdoms on the mainland.

And they all knew that King Orion's intentions in inviting the people from the Obsidian Kingdom to visit the Amber Kingdom and attend the engagement banquet and festivities around the betrothal of Crown Prince Mars of the Amber Kingdom and Princess Astra of the Emerald Kingdom was not pure at all.. Part of it was probably because he wanted to flatter the Emerald Kingdom and the Sapphire Kingdom, and General Aquila suspected that a large part of the reason lay with Raven and his prodigious talents.
