"Bam?" Queen Carolina asked with a frown. "What does that mean?"

"It means you get what you wrote on the token, Grandmother," Alya said excitedly. "This is a very powerful golden gachapon machine. Our Elf Buddy really sent us the best one!"

"Daddy! Mommy! Put it in Azar and Alya's magic castle! Azar and Alya will let you get all the components for the magical device that you need from the golden gachapon machine!" Azar chirped happily.

"That's very kind of you, my dear little ones," King Jaren said. "But I'm afraid I still don't understand. Where are these tokens that you have to write on? And what are the parameters of the golden gachapon? There have to be some limits, right?"

Azar blinked. "Oh, Grandpapa doesn't know? This type of golden gachapon can only produce parts of magical devices. It can't produce a full magical device. But as long as something is a part of a magical device – even if it a small part or a big part, the golden gachapon can produce it if you write on the token," he said.

"And the tokens are in the back of the golden gachapon machine," Alya said. "There are fifteen thousand tokens right now. Uncle Raven and Auntie Mana, don't use up all the tokens for your magical device! Leave some for Azar and Alya!"

The little white dragon pouted adorably.

"I promise we won't use up all the tokens, Alya," Mana said promptly. "We will only use your golden gachapon machine if we need a part that we can't find anywhere, all right?"

"Yes, Auntie Mana!" Alya replied happily.

"Alya, don't be mean," Azar said sternly. "Mommy and Daddy need to use the golden gachapon machine to make the magical device to bring Grandmama back. We have to be good and let Mommy and Daddy use the golden gachapon machine as much as they need, otherwise our Elf Buddy will think that Alya is being a bad girl and Azar is being a bad boy. Alya doesn't want our Elf Buddy to think that, right?"

The little white dragon froze with a horrified expression on her cute little face. Then she burst into tears. "Alya is not a bad girl!" she cried. "Alya wants to help Auntie Mana and Uncle Raven, too! Alya is a good girl! Alya looks after Grandpapa and Alya won't let the bad guys harm Grandpapa! Alya is a good girl!"

"Yes, yes, Alya is a good girl, Alya is a very good girl," Mana said hurriedly.

The moment Mana said that, however, the little black dragon burst into tears. "Mommy! Azar was teaching Alya a good thing! Why is Mommy not agreeing with Azar?!" he cried pitifully.

Mana shot Raven a helpless glance.

Raven immediately pulled out a couple of treats and handed both of them to Mana.

"Come now, we have our good girl Alya and good boy Azar – don't we?" Mana said, holding out the treats, one in each hand.

Azar and Alya were still bawling pitifully.

"I'm afraid Azar is right," Jules said, coming up and plucking Alya out of the air. "My little Alya, you should listen to your cousin. Azar is a very good boy, and what Azar said just now is very right. You have to let your Uncle Raven and Auntie Mana take what they need to save your Grandmama, don't you?"

The little white dragon looked pitifully at her human father, two identical sets of mismatched eyes fixed at each other.

Mana and Raven hugged their little Azar, cajoling him with a treat and praising him to high heavens.

"Mommy is sorry, Azar," Mana said gently, rubbing the little black dragon's head with her fingers. "Azar is right. Azar is the best boy ever, much better than anyone else!"

"Yes, absolutely, our little Azar is the best good boy in the world!" Raven praised. "Daddy will get Azar two extra treats for dinner when we go back, how is that? Would that make our Azar happy?"

Azar stopped crying. "Three treats, Daddy," he said, holding up three little claws.

Raven chuckled and tickled the little black dragon's chin. "All right, my dear Azar, three treats it shall be," he said.

Azar was finally appeased and let Mana wipe his tear stained face with a clean handkerchief and cuddled with his human parents.

Meanwhile, Alya was crying her eyes out, feeling rather guilty, and she sobbed out an almost incoherent apology to Azar, which the older dragon baby accepted graciously and offered to share his treats with her immediately.

Jules and Bella, too, praised their little dragon baby girl for learning so quickly. Jules wiped his precious dragon child's face, just like Mana had done for hers.

King Jaren, Queen Carolina and General Aquila watched the four youngsters and two baby dragons with great amusement.

"We have to use the golden gachapon sparingly though," King Jaren said finally, when the two little dragons were back to their bright and cheerful selves again. "Mana and Raven, let's try to source whatever parts you need for the magical device by ourselves first, and only when we are absolutely unable to find something – that's when we will use the golden gachapon. All right?"

No one disagreed with that. Even if fifteen thousand tokens seemed a lot right now, it was still a finite, non renewable resource, and no one knew if they would ever receive another golden gachapon again or if they would be able to get more tokens once the fifteen thousand would be used up.

"Daddy! Put the golden gachapon machine in our magic castle now!" Azar commanded imperiously.

Raven could only chuckle and do as the little black dragon said. He and Mana quickly transported the golden gachapon machine into the secret space shared by him and Mana, and both Azar and Alya went along with him to show him exactly which room they wanted the golden gachapon machine to be kept in. Fortunately, both the little dragons had the same room in mind, or there would have been another bout of tears, Raven thought with great relief. Once that was satisfactorily settled, the two young royals and the two baby dragons went back to their family.

"All settled?" King Jaren asked, as the two little dragons went back to claim their usual spot on their Grandpapa's shoulders.

"All settled, Papa," Raven replied with a smile. "I am sure Azar and Alya will tell you more about it now."

The two little dragons started talking immediately, telling their beloved Grandpapa in great detail how and why they chose the room for the golden gachapon machine and how they had made Raven and Mana change the décor in the room to match the golden gachapon machine ("Big shiny gold, Grandpapa! Very pretty! Big, big shiny!") and how nice it looked and all the details with great enthusiasm, and Mana and Raven took this chance to show the others around the island properly, while King Jaren walked leisurely behind them, listening carefully to his two little dragon grandchildren and praising them at the appropriate moments.

Their sight seeing lasted for a while, and Jules suggested another photo shoot session, since it was the first time for General Aquila and Rook to come to the island. It was a very pristine and picturesque island to begin with, and with Mana and Raven showing them around and Jules taking pictures, they ended up watching a gorgeous sunset, and then all the illuminations of some of the indigenous flora and fauna sprung into action.

General Aquila and Rook were as mesmerised by the beautiful, ethereal sights as Queen Carolina and Bella had been on their first visit to the island.

And Azar and Alya, when they finished explaining (and bragging) to their Grandpapa about their big, shiny, golden room, they realised that pictures were being taken by Jules and the others, so they immediately dragged King Jaren to the others, and even more pictures started to be taken. The two little dragons were extremely photogenic – how could they not be, when they were so cute and adorable? And they loved modelling for Jules, whose photography skills had reached almost professional levels by now.

Jules didn't say it out loud, but Mana could guess from the improvement in the quality of pictures with every new lot, that her big brother was modifying the spells being used for the makeshift camera device that they had originally created, and it had been through so many developments and modifications in the hands of Crown Prince Jules of the Emerald Kingdom, that it had practically become a new product altogether. If Mana had to think in terms of modern cameras that she knew from her previous world, she would probably say that the device Jules was using right now was at least at the level of a modern DSLR camera, and it could possibly be at the level of a good SLR camera as well, if they were able to measure it properly!
