Chapter 31: Chapter 29 – A month has passed…

Time passed quickly when the things were set in a repeating streak.

Day 14 

Akira received her frequent usage upgrade of the spell CONSUME" The cool down dropped to 2 hours, the grinding speed increased. The steady influx of attributes and SU kept going for both Akira and Hina. There were too many volunteers for the "The best pleasing experience" after all.  Akira's father Hiro Ryu called home to tell that he will remain in capital for the moment as the situation was hectic.

---------- Foxx And Mira POV (Paradise prime)-----

The Sopura kingdom delegation arrived safely at Paradise prime. The bustling metropolis world was as busy as Foxx remembered. They settled in a luxurious Inn and Foxx and Mira went to enjoy the fine cuisine the inn's restaurant was offering

The establishment was really a top class. Expensive and luxurious settings, a talanted singer creating pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Dishes prepared by a master-chef were served alongside with finest quality elven wine.

"So will you tell me now what is this top secret mission Aunt. I don't like to be left in the dark" Mira Leonheart

"Yes of course I will, now listen carefully" Claudia set an anti spying array and explained the situation.

"6 % increase doesn't look a lot to me for causing all that fuss" Mira 

"Sigh, Even it is a little it changed the long years of negative trend. It is a light of hope in a desperate times, so we gonna grab it and hold with it like a drowning man to a helping stick".

"What do you mean desperate times. I tough FOL are doing fine" 

"Look Mira you are already old enough and your position as the future queen makes you entitled to learn the truth and not the propaganda for the masses."

Mira felt a cold chill running, she would probably wont like what her aunt is going to say....

"Look the reality is we are losing the war and in about 2 centuries Sopura will most likely fall" In a long explanation followed revealing the situation to the horrified Mira

"You are saying I will be the last ruler of the Sopura world" Mira was starting to tear. A world's heavy burden pressed and crushed the young mind.

"Look we are preparing an assault in 3 years on Voldemort's. The goal is to cause serious damage and extend the time of Sopura, unfortunately the chances of success of this particular attack are grave. So all participants have already made their peace."

"Grandpa, you , Seres and others are enlisted for the attack! Are you saying there is a chance that you will die?" Mira

"No one will return home from that raid, Mira we are going on a suicide mission" Foxx said solemnly

"No, NO impossible. Auntie you must not go!" Mira was sobbing

"Mira, my precious one, I may have been a terrible parent and guardian but I want you to know that I have always loved you as my own child. I will gladly give my life so you will have better future, please remember that." Foxx eyes watered

"NOOo  Mira jumped and hugged her Aunt... NO!  Grandpa too?"

"Right before the assault, you will be crowned as the next queen of Sopura.  Arthur has made the preparations"

Hic... sob...no it is a lie, A LIE.... hic Auntie tell me it is a bad mean joke hic" Mira

"Come here", Foxx embraced the sobbing cat girl.

"You must be strong Mira, for the sake of the people of Sopura. Let our sacrifice won't be in vain" Foxx

"It is too much, I can't bear it auntie. It is too much pain" sob.. sob

"Do you realize now why this 6% increase of chance means so much to us?" Foxx

"Sob we are going to find that variable Auntie. We will make it happen"

"Lets go to our rooms now Mira. You look like a wreckage. Tomorrow we will meet the best detective agency here in Paradise prime and start looking. We will leave not a single stone unchecked" Foxx

Day 18

The construction of the basement was completed at a record speed

Akira had a little workshop settled in small walled area. The ventilation was installed and several reinforced glass panels similar to bathroom shower booths were prepared. Proper waste drainage and showering heads included. They all looked like normal showers except for the chains and locking devises installed on the walls. On the basement ceiling was set up a hatch leading directly to the garage, Where a small size truck was parked. Akira painted the demon church logo on it.

------ Foxx And Mira POV (Paradise prime)----

".....we are getting closer. So far we have determined that your lead here is a person and not an object. We are currently trying to narrow down the area of subject"

The chief Executor of the detective company reported. 

"It is too slow, Too slow! Do you know how many lives are at stake" Mira jumped from her seat and shouted.

"We are working as hard as we can, the help of your people is also a great boon. But with such a weak lead it just takes time, I am sorry princes Leonheart"

"Please excuse my nephew, she is still young and inexperienced. The Kingdom of Sopura really appreciates the efforts of your employees and the results presented so far" Foxx

"Let us meet again next week for more details" Foxx

Day 31

Akira and Hina realized that the church meetings were getting less and less visited. They were running out of volunteers for their project. Soon they  left home with the new truck Hina was driving.

While back home Hina parked the truck in the garage.

Sitting in the comfortable sofa of the guest hall, both were considering their next plan of action.

It was summer time. Hot weather making them sweat. Ceiling fan was providing a small comfort. Akira was so hot that she was only with her panties and T shirt. Modesty be damned. Plus there was only her and okasa and a demon larvae man strapped tight in the basement dungeon currently.

"We may have to look for another source of demons" Akira licked her finger covered with melting Ice cream

"You are right. Hmm where can we find a lot of them in packs?" Hina also pondered

"We are doing good on attributes points acquisition, but we may need some pure demon extermination for additional SU gains. We need to buy you that "soul fortress" skill. I am sick of watching you wearing those evil robes"

"Haah me too" Hina

"I know  a place with some high level pure demons . They give tons of SU.  Hmm bad memories there, but we have grown a lot last month and I have a team now". Akira

The constant grind netted 240 attributes to each and staggering 48 000 SU. That made possible for several level ups each cost 2000 SU.

 

 

"Hmm we are now 8 times stronger and faster than a trained athlete, 8 times swifter and a cut wound heals in 20 seconds. And the mana reserves of 2 x 800 makes exorcising a batch of demons much easier. I would say we are well beyond a normal person could be" Akira

She made some hyper speed calculations. "

Akira took a shower and looked at herself in the mirror. What a serious change in appearance in just one month of magic puberty

She was grown 10 centimeters to 1,7 m. Her body was a piece of art with zero fat and pure muscles. Yet, those muscles were well defined, but not bulging making her looks like a lingerie model. And unfortunately for Akira her boobs had grown from B to C cup. Her butt was now with a well defined heart shape instead of the skinny one at the start. Akira looked at herself for some time and said.

"I am becoming a really hot chick" The ex-male mind has recognized that Akira's body sex appeal had been skyrocketed. Combined with the cute face with such an expressive green eyes and plump lips Akira was simply becoming the girl that makes people turn their heads at the beach to look again. 

"Sigh, the stupid magic puberty is ruining my body, and I had to renew my entire wardrobe as nothing of the old clothes fits now. Good that those idiot spiderman were too generous in their church donations. That was a massive income fuffu" Akira

At the same time Hina was enjoying her new looks that her magic puberty had granted. Taller, slimmer, soft skin and wrinkles magically erased. She was  proud owner of a new D cup size tight bust that have been magically restored as to a 15 years younger version of hers. Overall Hina looked like an older sister to Akira than her mother.

"Fuffu I still don't understand why Akira is making so much fuss for becoming more and more feminine looking? I think her new looks suit her so well? Fuffu, but it so much fun teasing her about it" Hina snickered and went to the shower.

Day 32

On the next morning Akira woke up at her bed hugging Hoshi as usual. They were sleeping in their own, once they managed to settle their troubled hearts and minds. Plus it was too hot to sleep with another person in a double bed during the summer heat.

Akira and Hina went to the hardware store where they purchased some stuff for the future raid. Then they went to the city library. Akira wanted to check the city maps and archives. The fact that there was an old concrete construction underground was implying a military bunker or installation predating the demons invasion.

Akira made some interesting discoveries in a old storage of the library where the old archives were left unattended for years. She made sure to redraw the map.

With their purchases loaded on the track they returned home and Akira took the oxygen torch and began her crafting.

At dinner time Kornelius connected sounding excited:

"OH hey partner! How is the M-IRC project going on" Akira

"I don't like that name, I think my proposal the "dual link multitasking and interconnecting communication system" is the proper one"

"Well I think my "Mind Interactive Real-time Connection or M-IRC is better"

"Fine we name it MIRC and I proudly announce that you, me and Mrs Ryu are connected in a common communication channel.. Phew  it took me 10 days to crack that dual link module's protection.

"Congratulations " Hina

"Congratulations " Akira

"What I can talk with okasa telepathically now! It is so cool!!

Akira ran to the garage and connected with Hina and Kornelius simultaneously

"Hello testing 1 2  3 , over" Akira

"fuffufufu" Hina

"Hearing both of you loud and clear" Kornelius was happy.

"Now that beats the mobile phones into the dust!! Akira laughed as well.

"I've got magic banking so far and now got a magic chat ... what else is missing to make it look like a real-life MMORPG? Akira thought amused

"Guys, I think we should spend those 22 k SU to get okasa something nice. If we are going to hit a demon nest we will need to be the best prepared" Akira

"Sigh we have been discussing this for a week now. And we can still pick the best of the two options" Kornelius

"Well I like both of them: the "cloaking illusion" and the "telekinesis" spells" Hina

"Yeah, I am also 50 - 50 about that. Both have great utility and use in our situation" Akira

"So what shall we do? Mrs Ryu needs to pick one soon. Are you going to eave everything to the chance? Kornelius

"That may be a great idea, Nel !" Hina

"I have told you many times, not to call me that stupid nickname Mrs Ryu" Kornelius

"And I have told you to call me Hina or Okasa" Hina snickered

"Guys! Guys, do not start this again. We have an important thing to decide and that thing is how to blast a fortune of 22 000 SU most effectively?" Akira

"I vote we just make a random pick" Hina shrugged her shoulders

"Sigh, I am in too" Akira

"I think leaving things to a random chance is never good idea" Nel

"All right then. It is 2 vs 1. Akira dear, please prepare two sticks and I will chose now" Hina

"So the winner is..... : the "cloaking illusion!" Akira

"Kornelius!"

"So much ......Sigh" Kornelius

"Do not fret buddy. If that place is crawling with demons as I believe so, we will get the money invested several folds back!" Akira 

Now I am heading back to the workshop. I have equipment to craft.
