Chapter 1113: Search!

Aakesh was currently standing in an unknown area, so he decided to ask the system about his bloodline projection stage later and focused on what was ahead of him.

As far as his eyes could see, Aakesh only saw a dreamy light made of all existing shades. There was not a single living or non-living thing around him. Only he and the surface made of light were there.

Aakesh took a deep breath and stepped forward, hoping not to fall like the last time.

The next moment, he found the surface beneath him stable, so Aakesh continued walking.

When Aakesh took the one hundred and eighth step, there were finally changes around him. The dreamy light began to recede at a rapid rate around him.

A few seconds later, Aakesh found himself in complete darkness, with even his other senses not able to work. Aakesh had already become accustomed to that state since he had trained in these circumstances in his early training years.

Aakesh stood there silent, not trusting himself to make any movement since he had also lost his source of direction.

Time flew by, and after what felt like an eternity, Aakesh suddenly turned around, or at least that is what he attempted to do, and slashed with his sword.

Aakesh couldn't be sure if that were what he did or if he even succeeded in taking the sword out of his space ring, but trusting his intuition, he continued the steps. The next moment, the slash struck the creature, but Aakesh didn't feel it.

Argh!

A painful cry rang not long after, but Aakesh didn't hear it. The ugly, terrifying creature in the darkness had a deep gash spread across its chest.

Its eyes turned brutal when they again saw Aakesh. It didn't believe the stranger would succeed again, so it fluttered its wings and silently flew toward Aakesh. Its sharp claws were poised to rip off his head.

Aakesh felt the same danger again, but this time it was coming from above him.

Aakesh didn't immediately act but waited for the danger to reach its peak state. It wasn't long before Aakesh took action. He committed what he believed to be piercing with the sword in his hands.

The next moment, the sword went through the pincers and then the head, crushing the creature's brain.

Aakesh's senses began to return, and soon he found a creature and its blood about to fall on him.

Aakesh immediately moved away, not daring to let his dhoti get dirty.

Soon, all his senses had returned, and the darkness around him had disappeared. Aakesh was back on the path made of dreamy light.

Aakesh turned around to look at the creature but didn't find it there. Instead of the corpse, there was a red rock the size of an almond.

Aakesh felt his body becoming hungry as soon as he saw the rock, shocking him. Aakesh had unlimited endurance, so his body never got tired and was always full of energy, so feeling hungry was impossible for someone like him.

Aakesh bent down and picked the item up, and when he saw the pattern on the stone, he understood what had caused him to feel hungry. To be precise, it wasn't he who felt hungry; it was his blood that desired the stone.

The stone was an ordinary item, but the pattern on it was an array that helped in the growth of the purity of the bloodline. Aakesh already had a bloodline of 100% purity, so it held no value for him, but the desire to eat was instinctive.

Aakesh's hunger soon disappeared as he forcefully pushed it down. Aakesh knew that it was he who was the master, not his blood, so he couldn't let it dictate things.

Still, the stone was valuable and could sell for a lot, so Aakesh placed it in the space ring and continued his journey.

This time, nothing strange happened for a while, and Aakesh traveled a distance of several miles in only a few seconds.

The street was straight, but after Aakesh crossed the mark of eleven miles, he found a turn. As everything was similar, Aakesh only found it when he reached the edge.

Aakesh now had two ways he could choose from. He didn't waste much of his time, and continued with the straight road, trusting his intuition.

Time flew by, and after several challenges, Aakesh finally reached the end of the road. There was nothing but a dark wall blocking his way from going forward.

Aakesh sensed a grave danger when he thought of tearing the wall down and going ahead, so he didn't act immediately and tried to find anything different than the usual around him.

It was like finding a tiny needle in a haystack of several miles since everything, wherever Aakesh looked, was similar in appearance. It was all dreamy light.

Aakesh knew that it wasn't going to be easy, so he continued searching for a way, and after around an hour, he finally found the first different thing.

Aakesh felt there were more, so he continued, and around five hours later, he had found one hundred and eight different patterns not conforming to the structure.

When the patterns were alone, Aakesh didn't understand what they meant, as it was something he had never seen. So Aakesh doubted that these were small strokes of a full pattern, giving him the motivation to search more.

And when Aakesh finally found the one hundred and eighth pattern, his doubts turned out to be correct.

The sequence of finding the strokes wasn't correct, but the vast knowledge stored in Aakesh's memory was such that it didn't take him any time to follow the correct sequence and complete the pattern.

When the pattern was complete, the dark wall ahead of him had cracks spread across it, and from the gaps, the same dreamy light began to glow out.

Aakesh, hoping not to find the identical path made of dreamy light ahead of him, silently waited for the wall to disintegrate.

The process was slow, but as it continued, the image ahead of him became clear.

When it ended, the wall hadn't cracked open or disintegrated, but a pattern had formed on the wall made up of random strokes. Aakesh understood his task and stepped forward.
