White House, Washington D.C United States of America.

November 29th, 1906

[Theodore Roosevelt POV]

I have always been fascinated that America will grow larger and its military stronger as I wanted America to be like the British empire, but on a wider scale.

But I always loathe this peace that's been prevalent in this era as war is a man's romance and my friends tend to agree on a certain point as in his eyes, peace is just but a silent prelude to war as his trusted assistant and friend and secretary William Loeb Jr walked in with the latest news from Europe as I was reading a book.

"What news have you brought from Europe William?" I said, while glancing slightly towards William before focusing on my book about the Egyptians.

William responded "It is a little bit chaotic in Europe right now Mr.President. The Germans from what I've heard, are slowly ramping up their army and it is rumored they already have a million soldiers and a navy to compete with the British empire." He said, as William was checking his document for any mistakes and confirming it twice.

I scoffed as I closed the book and looked at William and answered "So war is on the horizon then? And the people like John Muir and Senator Henry will always hate me for choosing to display American firepower. Bah! These cowards don't have the American spirit like the Grizzly bear and the Bald Eagle." I said as I sighed heavily and moved on to other matters at hand "How goes the Panama Canal project we've been campaigning for 6 years now? I inquired.

William answered with certainty "It is going as planned but the demands have been increased as the architects and engineers are proposing to widen the canal more. Which would be finished by 1911 at the latest."

"Why widen it? Isn't it enough to widen it for our ships to pass?" I was confused for a moment.

"Apparently their reason is that ships like the dreadnoughts even need to pass the canal. Hence they proposed to widen it to save future problems." William said, as he read another report stating that exact demand.

"And how much are they asking for?" I said, while drinking coffee.

William looked at me and replied with an equally surprised voice. "They need $200 Million Mr.President."

Hearing the number, I choked on my coffee as I tried to breath and replied while coughing "$200 Million?!?! Didn't we fund it $250 Million? Wasn't that enough?" I said, half raising my voice.

William replied "Apparently not as in order to further wide the gap, they needed more manpower and some heavy tools to fully achieve this. Here is the bill they've made Mr.President." He placed the said bill in front of me as I rubbed my temples and signed it with a heavy heart.

"This better be worth the investments as our reputation along with America's reputation are riding on this…" I grumbled as I spoke again "And how goes the New Deal Bill we did?"

"It is doing good so far Mr.President. although the Republicans are still grilling you that you betrayed them technically." William pointed it out.

"Well I'm trying my damndest best to make America prosper and not turn into this new corporate America that many capitalists envision it to be. And I want the wildlife and parks to be preserved as soon as possible. And I want to end the Idea of isolationism being prevalent in america."

I said, while angry at the congress for delaying some bills he proposed as well as the antitrust law slowly creeping in which upsetted him more.

"Don't worry Mr.President. everything will be done as you ordered. On other news, The Navy wants an increase in their budget to build more capital ships along with destroyers and cruisers. Should we approve it Mr.President?"

I signed the bill right away to increase the naval budget and the flotilla size by a good margin as I said "Is that even a question? I'll also challenge anyone that dares question it otherwise." I said, as I grabbed my coat and told William to join me hunting once again after a long tiring day in the office. And William agreed.

"Let's go William. Adventure awaits and time waits for no one. Onwards!" I joyously shouted as William Shaked his head but smiled at me as he and I went hunting yet again.

[3rd Person POV]

Back in 1903, Theodore did one of the most impossible things as he named 2 national animals for America and it became sensational news for a few months as Theodore officially named the Grizzly Bear and the American "Bald" Eagle the national animal of America. Which didn't surprise most people as they knew teddy was adventurous and liked to speak against hunting and poaching frequently.

Although there were multiple assassination attempts back in 1905 and 1906 and 1907, he remained steadfast and strong headed as he led America to be close as one of the founding fathers of America itself. Which says a lot for the American people in 1906. His dream is to see America expand all over the world and to see it be a world power that is respected and not be intimidated, which is to talk big and carry a big stick.

Sadly after his presidency, the successor presidents made america even more weaker internationally and suffered a lot as Taft himself didn't quite liked Theodore and proceeded to isolate him from politics to which pissed off Theodore even more and hated the growing isolationism that america is so fond of having and was disgusted by it and just choose to just improve the army during his final years.

The American Dream as Successor presidents promised that Theodore envisioned which Woodrow and Taft changed to fit their own versions and greatly share their own version of American dream which worked as America was delusional on it and thought America was the greatest country to live on in this present time.

Which technically was the truth with future historians even debating if this led America into a dystopian downfall or not.

One thing for sure, is that America is slowly descending into a corporate ruled country in the near future thanks to the policies and bills Theodore passed but was slowly being rectified and only a few stayed which the republicans and even the democrats alike find it absolutely preposterous that the legacy Theodore left behind is nearly forgotten and a new moment called the Theodorists have been form to keep his legacy alive as they faced many oppositions in the far future.

Hence the American Dream can be a guiding future of America or the downfall of it. Only time will tell depending on how America will follow its destiny towards an uncertain future.

(Future outlook of America if things doesn't change.)
