The Good Incubus side story
Disciple Wu
After chapter 70 when they first get to the love demon’s cave.
When Zhou Tu took Disciple Wu back to Snow Mist Peak from the cave of the love demon, he landed at the practise area and was met by his frantic Master Pan. The tall light brown haired slender man with light hazel eyes and a rosy complexion, threw away all formality and pulled Disciple Wu into his arms, “Oh Disciple Wu, I’ve been looking everywhere for you.”
Zhou Tu was shocked by this very public display of affection from his often stern Master of arrays. Looking around he saw that no one had seen and coughed loudly, “Master Pan...”
Startled by the loud sound, the Master pulled himself together and pushed Disciple Wu to arms length from his body, with a guilty look on his lightly tanned face.
“Master Pan I have been told by Leader Luo to send help to wait outside the cave of the love demon. We are not to enter until informed it is safe by the Leaders.”
Tearing his hazel eyes from his dishevelled disciple, Master Pan nodded. “I will go inform the Masters...” pausing reluctantly he said, “please take Disciple Wu to the infirmary.”
The slender young disciple gripped onto his Master’s sleeves, his long black hair hung loose over his pale face and his eyes were full of tears. A tender look filled the stern Master’s face, forgetting himself again, he gently wiped away his tears, “I’ll come get you the moment I’m done. I’m so glad you’re safe.”
In a rush Disciple Wu threw himself into his Master’s arms and was hugged tightly.
Hearing someone coming Zhou Tu put a hand on Disciple Wu shoulder and Master Pan’s arm. The startled older man looked down into Zhou Tu’s bright green gaze and let out a low sigh, there was no judgment in his disciple’s tender eyes. He whispered softly, “Thank you Disciple Zhou, please look after him for me.”
Seeing Zhou Tu’s nod, Master Pan softly kissed Disciple Wu’s tear stained cheek and disappeared at a speed the others couldn’t see to inform the Masters of Snow Mist Peak.
Helping his friend to the infirmary, Zhou Tu couldn’t help but smile as he thought, ‘so it is true, other couples are breaking the old taboos.’
Coming vaguely round from his daze, Disciple Wu stiffened in his friends support and said hurriedly, “Brother Zhou please, you can’t tell anyone what you just saw! Please, Master Pan could get in real trouble.”
His lips and eyes curving up, Zhou Tu said, “don’t worry, my lips are sealed.” After a moment of silence, Zhou Tu couldn’t resist asking, “how long have you two... you know...?”
Blushing a deep red, Disciple Wu said, “since the incubus started the sexual field, that first day after the first possession, I blurted out that I love him and he kissed me in the next moment. Oh Brother Zhou it was so perfect, after all these years of loving him from afar, I’m so happy!”
Seeing his friend’s bliss filled smile Zhou Tu couldn’t help but smile in return, “I’m really happy for you, I would never do anything to jeopardise your love so don’t worry about me.”

Disciple Wu tightened his arm around Zhou Tu’s shoulder for a moment in a lopsided hug and he said, “Brother Zhou you have really changed over the last few days. I have never seen you being so comfortably... you.”
A light laugh left Zhou Tu’s lips, “I have never felt so much myself.”
Getting to the infirmary the pair were met by Master Fen, the tall dark skinned Healer made Zhou Tu’s heart race, he was so beautiful as he perfectly moved and organised the infirmary. The two healers were completely different but Master Fen strongly reminded Zhou Tu of his lovely Chu Ling in that moment, and his heart ached to see his man safe and sound.
Lifting Disciple Wu up into is powerful slender arms and carrying him over to a free bed, Master Fen asked, “how was this disciple hurt so badly?”
Standing tall and trying to not feel intimidated by Master Fen’s powerful aura, Zhou Tu answered just as Fen Ru Chao put Disciple Wu on the bed, “he was possessed by the love demon, he managed to escape and I brought him back.”
The next moment Zhou Tu’s hand was held tightly by the Master Healer, his face was mere inches away as he worriedly asked, “did you find Leader Chu?! Is he alright!?”
From the bed behind Fen Ru Chao, Disciple Wu said, “I escaped because Leader Chu brought me out of the possession by...” a small cough of embarrassment left his lips and he rushed on, “...because he was still fighting, he was injured and bound but still holding strong.” Sighing at the remembered majesticness of his Leader, Disciple Wu said softly, “Leader Chu is amazing.”
Turning his head back from the injured disciple, Fen Ru Chao looked up into Zhou Tu’s green eyes while still holding his hand.
That brief look of Master Fen’s deep dark eyes was all it took for Zhou Tu to understand, this beautiful man loved Chu Ling as much, if not more, than he did.
Comfortingly Zhou Tu said softly so only Master Fen could hear, “don’t worry, the Leaders, Master Hao and Jiejing are going to rescue Leader Chu.”
For half a heart beat, a relieved smile curved Fen Ru Chao’s full brown lips and Zhou Tu’s heart almost stopped at the beautiful sight. Then stunned at his own display of emotion Fen Ru Chao stood up straight and, after a gentle mutually comforting squeeze of the disciple’s hands, started shouting orders to the people in the infirmary.
Sat with Disciple Wu waiting to move out, Zhou Tu’s eyes were filled by the image of Fen Ru Chao. Had he always been this captivated by the handsome stern Master Healer? Thinking back, yes, yes he had.
