[Gyrokinetic Flight: A skill that allows the user to Levitate and fly by decreasing the pull of gravity on one's body by becoming weightless]

“Hahahaha! This Gravitational Field System is truly amazing.” Said Luciel excitedly as he was hovering in the air in a lotus position. 

He was currently hovering two meters above ground with ease and next to him was a bottle of water. This meant, he not only was able to manipulate his gravity but the object within his gravitational field as well within a just short amount of time. 

“So, this how it feels like reversing gravity and decreasing my weight to the point of becoming weightless. I feel like an invisible force is pushing me upward.” Luciel added as he tried to float around the room by manipulating the gravitational force around him.

Luciel might have been a criminal in his past life but that didn't mean that he was uneducated. He knew full well the power and the importance of gravity. 

That was even more true when it comes to combat. Gravity manipulation was one of the most overpowering and versatile abilities when it came to combat, allowing one to achieve both offensive and defensive capabilities simultaneously. 

Offensive uses could include repelling enemies with such a powerful gravitational force that could kill them instantly. 

One could increase the gravity within one’s gravitational field to crush or immobilize his opponents. 

One also could throw large and heavy objects at one’s opponent with astonishing force and speed by decreasing the gravity pull on said objects. 

Aside from that, one could use gravity to enhance one’s strength, speed, agility, etc. To sum up, there was a plethora of ways that one could use gravity offensively in combat. It was all a matter of creativity. 

As for its defensive uses, they were no less than its offensive uses. One could use gravity to create a gravitational force field to repel all attacks, decrease the gravity of an attack to weaken its potency and speed, etc. 

Having possessed a terrifying ability such as gravity control, one of the four fundamental forces of the universe, the sky was no longer a limit. 

Luciel knew of this fact fully well and intended to use that power to its fullest to accomplish his goals in this lawless world.

“I think that's all for now, I am starving. I can't continue my training with an empty stomach.” Said Luciel as his stomach was making some weird grumbling noise.

Having made up his mind, he slowly came down by returning the gravitational force to its normal pull while slowly increasing the weight of his body before he gently landed on the bed. 

If it was up to him, he would have spent the whole day in his room, getting used to his newfound power. Unfortunately, he wasn't a robot and needed to take care of his body's daily needs. 

“Status window.” He mumbled to himself. 

Swoosh! Before his voice could even fade away, a blue screen suddenly materialized in front of him.

Attributes: Strength 7, Agility 8, Constitution 15, Intelligence 9, Wisdom 12, Charisma 7.

Gravitational Field: 2 meters 

Gravitational Force: 2X

Gravitational point: = 0

Skills: Reverse Gravity, Almighty Crush, Imprisonment, Enhanced Speed,  Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Leap, Negative Gravity, Gyrokinetic Flight. 

“Not bad for two hours of training.”

During these two hours, not only Luciel was able to learn basic techniques like becoming heavy or light and enhancing his strength and speed through the manipulation of gravity, but he also became very proficient in using those skills. 

Aside from that, he also learned how to use gravitational up force which he called Reverse gravity. Reverse gravity was simply a skill that allowed him to drastically decrease and reverse the gravity pull within his gravitational field, causing everything to float upward.

As for Almighty crush, it was a skill that allowed him to increase the gravity within his gravitational field, causing everything to slam downward. 

It wasn’t that powerful yet as he could only double the gravity pull, but as he began to accumulate gravitational field points, he will be able to increase the gravitational pull.

“I need to earn a lot of gravitational field points as soon as possible to increase the range of gravitational field as well as the gravitational pull.”

Through the memories of the previous owner of this body, Luciel knew just terrifying the monsters and the hunters of this world were. 

Even with his new power, he was no different than an ant in front of those powerful hunters and monsters. As such, he had this sense of urgency to increase his strength as soon as possible and get out of this hellhole. 

 

“Alright, it’s time to get out and look for something nutritious to eat. I also can’t wait to see what the outside looks like.” Said Luciel as his eyes flashed with a hint of anticipation. 

Having made up his mind, he rose from the mattress and walked towards the bathroom. The water was cut off since the apartment was abandoned, so Luciel grabbed a full bottle of water from the ground next to the mattress along with his old toothbrush to brush his teeth. 

There was no toothpaste, so he only rinsed the toothbrush with a little bit of water and began to brush his teeth once he entered the bathroom. 

Once he was finished brushing his teeth, he then gulped down a little bit of water to wash and rinse his mouth.

As there was no water and couldn’t take shower, he used the rest of the water to wash his face and hair. Then, he put on a new set of clothes and left the apartment. 

Leaving the apartments, Luciel walked straight towards the stairs at the end of the hallway. He was living on the 5th floor of this abandoned building. As there was no electricity, he could only take the stairs to go down. 

Walking through the hallway, Luciel could see vomits and bloodstains all over the ground and the walls. A foul stench permeated the air. 

Though the hallway was empty at the moment, Luciel wasn’t the only resident of the abandoned building. There were dozens of people living in that dump. 

As it was still early in the morning, most of the neighbors were sleeping. In one more hour or so, those that managed to survive the night would start waking up and continue with their pitiful life. 

Just like the previous Luciel, most of the people that live in the abandoned apartment and the entirety outer walls of the district 9 base were all orphans, beggars, rejects, rapists, handicaps, criminals, and the lowest scums of the new era. 

Most of these people including the previous Luciel were too poor to obtain citizenship to live in the District 9 Base. Others were criminals or people that offended people they shouldn’t in District 9 and were forced to escape to the outer walls. 

In short, the outer walls of the District 9 Base were a chaotic and heinous place, a dump filled with the lowest scums of society.  

Everywhere, every day was completely balagan filled with killing and thievery. It was a lawless land ruled by criminals and gangs.

“Damn, I can’t believe I’m already out of breath for doing a little squat while taking the stairs. This body really needs some work.” Said Luciel as he was gasping for breath and sweating like a pig. 

After taking a two to three minutes break, Luciel finally regained his bearing. Without wasting any time, he hurriedly walked towards the main entrance of the building with an excited expression on his face.
