Lu Li was relieved to see the damage.
He had the Prayer of the Moon Goddess buff, and his health bar had increased from 4000 to around 80000. One thousand four hundred points of damage was nothing to him.
To be fair, these Troll guards were incredibly strong.
However, the Prayer of the Moon Goddess buff didn’t just increased health points alone. It buffed almost everything that players could think of, including defence. Without this buff, Lu Li would have taken at least 3000 damage, and an average player would be killed in one attack.
Only tank classes could barely handle the attacks of these types of monsters.
The other Troll guard was lured over by Water Fairy. Lu Li could probably tank both of them, but there was no guarantee that he could hold their aggression. He didn’t have any skills or equipment that would boost his aggression level.
“Boss, this isn’t fair,” Fat Monkey private messaged Lu Li.
“What are you on about? What’s unfair?”
Lu Li was usually a serious figure, but Fat Monkey wasn’t scared of him. The two of them also had a good relationship, so Lu Li didn’t feel much towards Fat Monkey’s protest. He was more curious about the reason.
“Why did Water Fairy get this buff from the NPC instead of me? This buff is too good!” Fat Monkey whined, feeling wronged.
He was the best at offence and with this buff, he would definitely kill anyone or anything in his way.
Lu Li’s normal attacks on the Troll guard dealt around 1000 damage. With a skill at a high completion level and a critical strike on top, he would be able to deal a few thousand damage without a problem. If he was really lucky, he might even hit the ten thousand mark.
“We must be playing a different game; you’re on a private server. I’m going to report you.” Fat Monkey looked at his damage pitifully. He felt so proud of it in the past, but now, he was ready to cry any moment. Never once had he felt so envious of his boss. To make matters worse, this buff wasn’t just on Lu Li – it was also on Water Fairy.
“Stop acting like a widow; you’re scaring me,” Lu Li said in disgust. “We have such a high damage because we’ve also smeared some other stuff on our dagger. It’s only usable for Thieves; what can I do about you being a Mage?”
“Shame that I’m not a girl,” Fat Monkey said sadly.
Lu Li didn’t have time to reply Fat Monkey. He gave new instructions as soon as he saw the Troll guard start casting.
“Back, back against the walls! Mages, stand behind. Use your refrigerator skill on my command.”
The two Troll guards began to spin together. Their attack range increased and even the ranged classes couldn’t guarantee their safety. The aggression almost reset as well, so Lu Li couldn’t control the NPCs any longer.
Fortunately, everyone followed instructions and performed perfectly.
The two Troll guards quickly ran out of skills to use and the entire battle only lasted for four minutes. The amount of damage that Lu Li and Water Fairy dealt was way too high.
Remnant Dream stepped forward to loot items. In such a situation, Lu Li might leave anyone else behind, but he would definitely bring the little Hunter with him. If he could, he would turn this little Hunter into an accessory and bring it with him wherever he went, so that he could release her whenever he needed to loot. Many players in the guild would often discuss crossover events between main characters of different stories. They all believed that Remnant Dream would most likely be one, because she always looted exquisite items.
Two Dark Gold equipment, two rare materials and a Thief skill book.
The equipment and rare materials were split. Lu Li already had the Thief skill book, he took it first and would split it with Water Fairy later after the battle.
The number of forces that both guilds had invested into this battle was about the same, so the equipment was split 1:1. Even if things were split in a slightly uneven manner, no one would say anything.
The second floor was similar. Besides the two Troll Guards, there was also a treasure chest, or rather, a resource chest. After Lu Li killed the Troll guards, he opened the chest and obtained some cloth and food. He also looted a spear-like Legendary weapon, and a Hunter from Water Fairy’s side was fortunate enough to receive it.
The third level did not contain Troll guards anymore. Instead, there was a Troll Hunter and an Orc Warrior, which slightly increased the difficulty.
However, it wasn’t enough to trouble Lu Li and Water Fairy, who were basically like bugs in the game at this point. Their battle time was around the same as before.
There were total of four levels in this tower point. After they passed through the levels, there would be a messenger, who would be a figure in a higher position. These NPCs in the tower had a much lower chance of dropping a Legendary, but the messenger was almost guaranteed to drop one.
There was a total of 6 monsters in the first three levels. The messenger at the top had two followers and a Wind Wielder that wouldn’t attack on its own.
This made things a little awkward. Their group was only capable of pulling two monsters, so a third in the equation would make things a lot harder. After all, healers couldn’t keep focusing on Lu Li. Once they healed, the monster that was attacking Lu Li would turn to them instead, since Lu Li can’t output damage to two monsters.
Now that Lu Li thought about it, he really should have given a buff to Azure Sea Breeze. He had poison on his dagger anyway, so his damage output wasn’t an issue.
Regret wasn’t an option at this point; Lu Li wasn’t a God who had never made mistakes either.
“Intruders are here! I must let Bygraves know. Sentries, cover for me!”
The messenger saw Lu Li and the other two hundred men that swarmed in, who barely left any space on top of the tower. Luckily, the tower was designed to allow combat, so it accommodate more than a few people.
The two followers roared and took out their double axes from their backs.

They were both Berserkers!
What did the messenger say? Cover him…
“Attack! Attack the Wind Wielder!” Lu Li shouted. He didn’t have time to care about the consequences of possibly facing four monsters if they attacked the Wind Wielder.
As soon as the messenger said “cover for me”, he immediately dashed towards the Wind Wielder. With a quick shake on the reins, the Wind Wielder rose from ground, despite being attacked. Player skills rained on the messenger and the Wind Wielder, but besides dealing some damage, it wasn’t enough to stop them from escaping.
They… actually escaped!
Lu Li was speechless, but what could he do? If a Boss wanted to run, especially a Boss that could fly, there was no one who could really stop it. All he could do was to keep quiet and keep attacking the monsters.
The two followers that couldn’t run with the messenger became the target of rage for the players.
One of the followers handed out a Dark Gold equipment, while the other dropped a Legendary.
It was a legendary equipment for Warriors. Lu Li took one glance and passed it to Water Fairy.
The Attributes were excellent for ordinary players, but it was nothing compared to what Moonlight already had. Later on, if something good enough for the competitors in Ruling Sword were to drop, he would have a reason to just take it.
System: You have destroyed the Lai’ka tower point and have obtained Experience, Glory Points and Reputation as a reward.
Slaying or chasing out all the NPCs in the tower was equivalent to taking it down. Soon, there would be Alliance NPCs who would come and take over. Then, they would receive more Experience, Reputation and Glory Points.
This was the good part of taking down campsites. Compared to killing others in the Wild, they would receive a lot more experience. However, the Glory Point reward wouldn’t be as handsome. After all, there were 200 players splitting it. The amount that each could receive was much more limited.
The entire battle time for this tower took around ten to twenty minutes, so the reward was rather worthwhile for them.
Normal players would have to spend at least half an hour or more to take down the tower point, but the situation was different for them now. They had Lu Li and Water Fairy with them, so both their damage and defence were overpowered. Not to mention, the two hundred people that they brought with them had high DPS.
“This time, let’s not choose towers.”
After the previous experience, Lu Li swore not to repeat it.
He studied the area and decided to invade an empty barracks.
There was a problem to this decision though. An empty barracks was not equivalent to a deserted barracks. There would still be soldiers inside, just in minimal numbers. However, it was impossible to tell whether a barracks was empty by just judging from the appearance. This meant that someone had to go and scout it out.
However, trying to scout around with Stealth in front of level 60 soldiers would be a joke in the first place.
Fortunately, Lu Li and Water Fairy’s buff was ridiculously strong. After they chose two targets, they both entered Stealth and began scouting. They scouted the whole area and none of the soldiers discovered them.
If they were to assassinate Sorrowless right now, it would be too easy.
However, this was just a quick thought that Lu Li gave up almost immediately.
Neither Ruling Sword or Lu Li needed to assassinate someone of fame again to boost their popularity. Ruling Sword and Glory Capital would also be having a match next week, so if Lu Li used this bug to kill Sorrowless now, people would say something, regardless if they lost or won.
Even if he were to kill Sorrowless, Sorrowless would just lose some Experience, or at most, an equipment.
With a club like Glory Capital supporting him, one death wouldn’t impact Sorrowless much. In fact, it would help Glory Capital gain some exposure and popularity.
The best option now was for him to use this chance and take more campsites for experience. As the greatest damage dealers, Lu Li and Water Fairy’s experience reward was beyond their imagination. Lu Li felt like he could easily reach 59 today.
When Lu Li scouted the barracks, he was caught by surprise.
The barracks looked empty, but all of the soldiers were actually gathered in a tent, drinking together. The infirmary was also filled with people. Once Lu Li brought people here, they would be facing dozens of Boss-level soldiers at once with a commander as well.
Fortunately, Lu Li had scouted in detail.
These infirmaries were also a kind of trap. Once players believe that this barracks was empty and chose to push in, they would be in major trouble.
On the other hand, Water Fairy seemed to have better luck scouting. According to her, the entire barracks on her side was empty. Only eight soldiers patrolled the area, and if they still follow the aggression rules set down by the System, taking the barracks down would be a simple task.
Once their target was set, they set foot immediately to save precious time.
The barracks that Water Fairy scouted seemed to belong to the Undead, or rather, ‘The Forgotten Ones’. They were led by Queen Sylvanas, and were an Undead race with their own conscious and wisdom.
Tarrenmill, located on the other end of Hillsbrad, was taken over by the Forgotten Ones, who were all led by Queen Sylavanas. They had made their military basement in the area. In the faction war this time, the NPC military in the Horde faction consisted mainly of Orcs, then Undead, and finally Trolls.
The Undead in the barracks all looked similar. Their positioning was spread quite far apart, but their movement patterns were much more random.
After some analysis, Lu Li discovered that while they attacked one soldier, they might encounter a second due to the random patrolling pattern. As such, he gave up the thought of pulling two monsters at once, and instead, decided to take down these soldiers one by one.
