The worst players that gathered here still had a couple pieces of Epic gear and had unlocked most of their skills. Even though Whinging Hollow kept stressing about how strong these Undead Ogres were, they still weren’t too worried at all.
However, their confidence was destroyed when they actually encountered them.
At least ten players were Corrupted and a few more were slain. These Undead Ogres were very unpredictable and Glory Capital struggled to barely defeat a group of 10 or so mobs.
After a few waves, they realized that the type of monsters and the number of monsters varied with each wave. Sometimes it could be as little as one or two, and other times, there would be upwards of 100 monsters.
There was a wave of several hundred Orgres and Glory Capital was almost wiped out.
However, Lu Li knew that these Ogres were only Elite monsters and very few were actual Bosses. It was because of their unpredictable attacking pattern and high base stats that made Glory Capital struggle.
They would eventually adapt after a few more waves. Glory Capital had enough resources and manpower to wipe out an entire tribe of these Ogres if they wanted to.
Lu Li went back to harvesting herbs in the meantime and followed under the guidance of Whinging Hollow. All the herbs that he collected were poisonous.
Whinging Hollow asked about a poisonous herb and Lu Li went into teaching mode.
He taught him how poisonous the herbs were and different recipes for poisons. He even explained what they could be used for, what poisons could be used to substitute others and other uses besides killing people.
He wasn’t messing around when his teacher Garona was teaching him about poisons. Additionally, he had done extra research in the library, so was one of the most knowledgeable players in this field in the game.
Whinging Hollow was overwhelmed by all this information and admired Lu Li’s knowledge.
He had no idea how Lu Li had gained so much knowledge about poisons as an adventurer.
Players had to collect their own materials, find recipes and personally craft these poisons.
The advanced players would probably do a bit of extra research into perfecting the ratio between materials, changing the order of adding each material and adjusting the temperature in order to craft a poison of a higher quality. However, no one in their right mind would bother wasting time in researching what these herbs are used for and what could be substituted.
“Hey, this stone is pretty decent.”
Mok’Nathal Orges rarely dropped anything and most of the loot was rubbish. However, there were still some valuable things because the game designed the quality of drops relative to the difficulty of the monsters killed.
Valuable items that could be obtained from these monsters were mostly Enhancement stones and magic stones.

The stone that the player had just picked up was a very useful item for Healers. It caused the wearer’s heal to bounce towards friendly targets nearby for 20% of the HP healed at a small chance.
In other words, if a player was healed for 1000 HP, the surrounding 3-5 players would be healed for 200 HP.
This item was rather overpowered because it meant that classes with strong single target heals could now heal in groups. Although the chances of the effect activating were quite low, this was a complete game changer.
It was basically a God-tier stone for Healers and it was extremely rare to find.
They did not expect Mok’Nathal Ogres to drop something like this. Lu Li couldn’t do anything but watch it happen; he wanted to go in there and steal the stone for himself.
“Haha, Hollow, this is such a good quest. We had no idea that these monsters dropped stones like this. We have to thank you for this. The guild will be very generous in thanking you.”
White Westhill was ecstatic because this stone was perfect for him.
Glory Capital would often reward their players and other people with a handsome amount of gold, unlike poor guilds like Ruling Sword that barely had enough extra cash to tip Remnant Dreams when an exquisite item dropped.
This was why freelance players always tried their hardest to join Glory Capital.
“Haha, I didn’t think that would happen either. I heard that other groups of players had come here before, but the stone never dropped for them. You guys must be super lucky,” Whinging Hollow said as his mood brightened up.
Besides the reward, he had already decided to learn about poisons from Ed Harris.
Of course, it would take him a long time to convince Mr. Harris. Although he hadn’t accepted Whinging Hollow, he never directly refused him either which was a good sign. Whinging Hollow believed that he could convince him with his sincerity.
“Increase the search area. Pull all the monsters and see if we can get more stones to drop!” White Westhill yelled.
Who said that there weren’t any good drops in this area? The stone alone was worth more than what a lot of players could make in a week. West Whitehill decided to commandeer this area and farm these stones for other Healers in Glory Capital.
Lu Li dug out a very rare herb and was very pleased. However, he was more pleased that Glory Capital had spread out more and increased their area of farming. This way, Rexxar, who was in a deep slumber in the valley would be awakened faster.
For many people, having a temper in morning was normal.
A morning temper was a good way to tell what sort of person they really were. In real life, unless you were a rich man or a beautiful woman, a lot of people would dislike you if you had a morning temper.
It was slightly different in the game because a morning temper could increase attack.
There were a lot of people who attempted to awaken Rexxar, but these people were all dead.
When Rexxar awakened to see his tribe being slaughtered, his wrath would not be explainable by words alone.
