"BE BLASTED TO VALHALLA!!!"

Fhiron shouted loudly, the goblins all proceeded to separate from each other and attempted to evacuate the area from a glowing light that lit itself up through the forest like fire; Fhiron was shown holding his arms out in front of him, a large bundle of mana was being converted inside of his palms, forming a massive light-sphere in front of him.

"Every last one of you! I'll exterminate your entire race! DAMN YOU ALL!"

His anger from Elizabeth's "death" had forced him to use his Light-Magic. All elves had light-magic and it was their primary source of fighting. Intrinsic to them all, even a baby elf can use some form of light magic, however for Fhiron's, his would wipe out this entire forest if he pulled off his attack.

"DABEH, DABEH! NYOOOO!"

The goblins shouted in their own foreign language as they ran. Their children cried inside the mothers arms in a small goblin cave not too far away from the location. The cave was even being evacuated. The Goblins were about to become extinct from no one other than Fhiron himself.

*VWOOOM*

The sound of violent light-magic distorted the sound barrier as it was finally released from Fhiron's palm. The large sphere of mana hurdled towards the goblin and destroyed anything in its way, turning all to ash.

"I dislike goblins too, but I don't think this is exactly necessary for what you're doing."

A small figure would suddenly appear in front of the attack, holding a small dagger inside their hand.

"Hmph."

The small figure was filled with indignation, expressing it from their small pout. Throwing their dagger towards the light-attack, it was suddenly suspended in mid-air.

"Dimension lock V1!"

As the dagger collided with the sphere of light-magic, it would also be suspended in the air with it, as if they both were stopped in time. However that wasn't the case. It was as if multiple "mini" dimensions locked the attack between them and kept it suspended.

"I…I—"

The elf king eyes widened. He wasn't surprised by the fact that this small person stopped his attack, rather he was surprised by his own course of action. Fhiron realized that his attack was about to destroy the entire forest into ash, and take everyone with him. He honestly couldn't believe in himself, now looking down at the ground in shame.

"What… was I doing…?"

"You were about to kill everyone in the forest of Goblins, that's what you were doing! Did you know that this forest belongs to them? It's unfair that they get treated this way just because you were stupid enough to sleep on the side of the road."

Fhiron clenched his fist, and his eyes closing. It seemed this mysterious person was stalking them for a while.

"Yes, you're right. It is my fault that this has happened, I don't know what I was thinking."

The figure soon shown itself as they walked out from the shadow of the trees. They seemed to be wearing very tight leather armor with a hoodie on their head, and a mask over their face. Pulling down the mask you could map out beautiful feminine features, and a small grin on their pale-cheeks.

"There's no need to worry about it. I stopped it after all, and prevented the forest from being destroyed. If you would've killed the Goblins here then they would've surely gone extinct."

They crossed their arms behind their head, leaning up against the suspended ball of mana next to them.

"My name is Jean! Jean Parolette! Nice to meet you."

They would smile, now approaching their way towards Elizabeth.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Jean Parolette. I-I thank you for preventing my foolish decision. My emotions have always been a hard thing to control…"

Fhiron stared at his suspended attack in front of him, a bit worried. The elf king soon turned around to face Jean who was by Elizabeth, however once he did… his eyes widened to see something breathtaking.

"…By the Golden Wood, you have a Champion…?"

The Elf exclaimed. His face was full of surprise. Champions were of rarity, and only four of them existed in the world of Midgard. It is said a champion chooses its wielder and those who is worthy, each coming in many shapes and sizes; Jean's champion hovered behind him in the air, having the appearance of a humanoid-blackness, with stars and galaxies inside of it. How odd, though Fhiron quickly knew what champion this was.

"You have the champion of Dimensions! It's power is able to manipulate any cosmic force, but it's mostly known for suspending things inside of a dimensional lock. Are you telling me that… you are a worthy champion user?"

Fhiron knew more about Champions more than this Jean person knew. It actually made Jean cringe from the overload of information.

"Iyaaa~ let's not get into history and stuff. I just use it cause it's strong. It comes out in the worst of situations."

Jean sighed to themself, now looking down at Elizabeth, and slowly placing their hand onto her chest.

"She's still alive…? Her heart beat is still pumping…"

Fhiron was bewildered by the comment, stuttering to get his words out.

"Y-You mean… she's alright?"

He quickly moved to her other side and kneeled, holding Elizabeth's hand.

"Elizabeth answer me! I am sorry for being a fool, this is my fault! I deserved that arrow, not an honorable person like you."

He closed his eyes and would rest his forehead upon her hand, and all the sudden—

"…Fhiron…?"

She slowly opened her eyes, the poison in her veins seemed to slowly fade away.

"Elizabeth! Are you alright? Can you move?"

The Rozenheart slowly gotten up, surprising both Jean and Fhiron.

"…Looks like those horrible training sessions mom put me through had paid off. Ehehehe…"

She sounded groggy, but all the sudden got back up to her feet, flexing her muscles.

"YEAH! I'M FEELING BETTER THAN EVER!"

Jean and Fhiron looked up at her cluelessly. Their eyes just stunned to even blink, their in-sync "HUH" would both sound the same. This was just… confusing?

"You had poison inside of your body! It could kill a human in less of a second, and slowly drain their mana. How did you manage to get through that by yourself?"

Jean asked with wide eyes.

"It's because of my old training. All I had to do was focus on my breathing to slow down the poison and evolve over it. It's a thing Non-Mana users have, like an incredible adaptation to things that failed to kill us."

Fhiron looked down at the ground, his hand placed over his face.

"Ahahahahaha - Huuhahahahahaha!"

Jean looked over at Fhiron who laughed hysterically, his head now raising into the sky.

"I expected nothing more from an amazing woman like you Elizabeth, you surely will be my wife one day! You're better than them all combined!"

Liz looked behind her quickly, holding up her hand to back Fhiron away.

"No! I already told you that's not happening! I want a man that only wants me and nothing more."

Fhiron stood upon his feet and dusted himself off, approaching the Rozenheart and holding her hand before kneeling.

"We elves can live for millions of years, it is only natural we seek greater fun and more wives. 70,000 is short, I am a loyal man."

Liz would "EEK" stepping back some.

"S-Seventy thousand is short? Then what is normal there?"

"We elves have an population of 256,785,382,528,999 last time I checked. The normal should be around 200,000 I believe."

"YOU ARE KIDDING ME?"

She jolted her hand away and crossed her arms.

"I already denied! No means no you idiot."

"…What's going on here?"

A deep feminine voice was heard as their boots crushed the leaves underneath them. Grimhild finally made her appearance, last seen healing Kyto.

"Grimhild! Is Kyto okay!? Please tell me you managed to save him!"

Elizabeth quickly ran over to the witch, her eyes sparking up with excitement.

"…Yes, Kyto is fine. He is slowly recovering but is unconscious right now. So tell me, who is that young person over there?"

Grimhild peeked her head to the side of Liz's shoulder.

"State your name."

Jean looked at Grimhild, their expression seemed to be of "thinking" as if they were trying to understand something.

"My name is Jean Parolette, it is nice to meet you. Your name is Grimhild I'm assuming from the others shouting it."

This smaller person stood at least 5'1 in height while they approached the golden mage now. Their champion long ago vanished once Elizabeth recovered.

"I am a simple adventurer— huh? Your an golden mage…"

Jean's eyes would suddenly light up in golden sparkles.

"A very own golden mage, from the country of Mesnil. It is an honor to meet you!"

Fhiron cleared his throat.

"Ahem! Pardon me Jean, but we must talk about what we're going to do with my attack? We just cannot leave it here."

Fhiron crossed his arm, and raised an brow.

"O-Oh, that's right. I forgot, I apologize."

Grimhild glared over at Fhiron.

"…With such an incredible output of mana like that, you would've killed everyone here, idiot."

Fhiron looked over at Grimhild and joined his hands together as if he was begging for forgiveness.

"I apologize Grimhild! I swear my emotions gotten the best of me!"

Liz looked over at Jean, tilting her head to the side while her hair dangled.

"Hey Jean… um… this may sound weird, but are you a guy?"

The adventurer turned around to face Elizabeth.

"Huh? What you mean?"

They questioned her with a clueless glance.

"…Ignore her, she's a clueless idiot as well. They all are—"

"Yeah! Of course I'm a guy?"

Grimhild was quickly cut off, both Liz and Fhiron jaws dropped.

"I-I almost caught feelings for a man…?"

"IS FLIRTING THE ONLY THING ON YOUR MIND, KING FHIRON?!!!?"

Liz started an argument with the Elf king already. The two of them exchanging words. Liz spoke facts but Fhiron disagreed.

Their voices faded out of existence to Grimhild's ears, as she suddenly stood still and bowed her head down.

"…Cute…"

Liz looked over at Grimhild all the sudden as the Rozenheart stopped her argument with the elf king.

"Huh? Grimhild…?"

"…I find… lady boys… very cute…"

She uttered underneath her voice, suddenly aroused from the thought. Fhiron and Elizabeth had never seen her like this… and genuinely feel weirded out. Grimhild had an preference for attractiveness?!?

"…Jean, can you follow me for a second."

Liz looked at Jean and then at Grimhild back and forth.

"Uhhhh… s-sure?! Anything for a golden mage. I'm actually from Mesnil and I looked up to the mages in Magic academy. This is an honor."

Liz would be baffled to speak for a moment, but she finally mustered her words.

"H-Hey, what are you planning Grimhild? You know she just called you cute right Jean? And now she's trying to speak to you alone! Something very suspicious is going on right now!"

Liz exclaimed while she placed her hands on her small hips like a mother.

"…Get your mind out the gutter no-brain. We are going to talk about his champion. It's not like I couldn't notice. After all, nothing can be hidden in front of a golden mage."

Grimhild walked towards the carriage and outside the forest with Jean.

"Oh, and put out the wildfire you caused in the forest Fhiron, it's still spreading. You too Elizabeth."

Jean looked back at the two and was confused on what to say.

"I guess we'll solve your attack problem later Fhiron. E-Excuse me!"

He quickly followed behind Grimhild as they eventually disappeared deeper into the forest.
