The crowd waited patiently for the next battle as they sat in their seats and looked around them, eager to find the next opponent who would come inside the arena to face off against Jean. They all were confused to see no sign of the contestant, and even the Announcer seemed a bit muddled at the situation.

"Ahem! Excuse me audience, it seems that the next contestant won't be appearing in todays annual event! I would like to apologize but there seems to be some... difficulties."

"OH BOOOOO! WHATS THE HOLD UP!? THEY RAN AWAY AND QUIT? AHAHAHAHA!"

One of the fairies mocked the situation which made the other fairies laugh.

"Well, I actually don't know, they didn't tell me. They told me to just move onto the next contestant, so I'll just do that!"

The announcer still confused at the situation would decide to move on.

"ALRIGHT FOLKS, SINCE OUR NEXT CONTESTANT CANT SHOW UP, THE LAST FIGHTER MAY APPEAR INSIDE THE ARENA!"

The audience began to cheer again in unison, seeing the large gate open down below, and another fighter walking through it. They appeared to be quite tall, having a overgrown beard, and the build of an bodybuilder. They wore a Gi that was shredded at the arm and legs, and no shoes, even brown hair tied into a ponytail.

"IN FRONT OF US WE SEE THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER, COMING FROM OVERSEAS, AND LIVING IN AN UNKNOWN ISLAND... KUMMMMMDOOOOO!!!"

The crowd of fairies cheered louder than they ever done before, showing that this fighter had a massive reputation. This fighter seemed to even have the previous contestant who was suppose to fight jean unconscious in his grip, being thrown to the ground.

"Heh, they still love me don't they?"

Kumdo walked forward and looked around him at the cheering audience.

"Looks like I'll have to put on a show for them."

He smashed his fist inside his palm, cracking his neck back and forth.

"Alright then, let's show them why I'm better than that fool Izumi Ryuu."

Elizabeth eyes were suddenly wide-eyed. She began to ball up her fist and tapped her foot down below impatiently.

"Kumdo... you bastard... even taking out the previous contestant for some fun. You're just wicked..."

Elizabeth was obviously angry at his sight, however Pippy managed to sit on her shoulder to calm her down.

"It's okay Elizabeth, Pippy knows that Jean will take care of it!"

Jean stood across the arena and faced Kumdo, unable to help but look around at the cheering audience, wondering what was so special about this fighter.

"...Why cheer for a guy like this when we had a hero show up, and had more skill? Just from a quick look at this martial artist, he doesn't compare to Izumi."

Jean was confused but shrugged his shoulders before taking a few steps in front of him, pulling his broadsword from the ground which he stuck it in.

"May the best fighter wins, Kumdo."

Jean bowed, however Kumdo smirked.

"Yeah, may the best fighter win... Jean."

"LET THE FINAL FIGHT OF THE ARENA BATTLE... BEGIN!!!"

Kumdo stood there and would inhale through his mouth, proceeding to close his eyes.

"...What's he doing?"

Jean was unable to exactly tell what was happening, nor what Kumdo had in mind.

"...If I was still fused with my champion I could have an precognitive advantage from seeing the future, but then again the fusion wasn't complete from my lack of bonding with my champion."

Jean had whispered to himself, holding his broadsword with two hands.

"I guess I'll wait before making a move."

"...HAAAAAA...!!!"

All the sudden Kumdo shouted, and a violent red aura swirled around him like a tornado, expanding in an omnidirectional range, taking Jean inside of it, even the audience, managing to pierce through the force-field.

"Huh...?"

Around Jean was a beautiful village, full of kids running to play with their friends, trees blowing in the wind, and the sound of excitement in peoples voices. He looked around him, lost and confused.

"This is... my village...?"

As jean stopped spinning around to see the view, he noticed a man who stood dozen of meters from him, waving.

"That man... is he... my father? Father is that really you?!"

Jean could finally get a clear view of the man in front of him, and it was proven to be his dad once they kneeled on their knee, opening their arms.

"My boy! Jean! I missed you so much, come give your father a big ol' hug!"

Jean didn't notice it, but his own clothes had changed, and he was in a different world.

"Dad!"

The Parolette began to run, taking large steps over to his father and opening his arms.

"I missed you so much dad! I thought you died!"

"Jean...."

A voice could be heard echoing.

"JEAN... WAKE UP...! JEAN!"

It gotten louder as jean ran towards his father happily.

"JEAN!!"

Jean proceeded to hug his father, wrapping his arms around their neck, and having them pick him up.

"Hahaha! My son! I'm here, there's no need to cry!"

Jean was tearing up, crying into his fathers shoulder, and ignoring the voice calling out to him.

"Never leave me again dad... please! I'm sorry I couldn't be a great son! I even tried to be better than you but I was too late to even find the artifacts you searched for!"

He started to sniffle, holding his fathers neck tighter.

"Ohhh my son... it's alright, don't worry about those silly artifacts! What's more important is... family time."

Jean nodded his head, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"Right..."

***

"JEAANNN!"

Grimhild could be shown standing up in the audience alongside Fhiron.

"This bastard put the entire audience asleep with his aura!"

Fhiron angrily said, balling up his fist. Around them were fairies fast asleep, even Kyto, Elizabeth, and Pippy.

"...His martial arts is dangerous, you must be careful on how we approach him."

Grimhild said to Fhiron, giving him a glare.

"My goddess... you worry too much about me, his martial arts won't effect me!"

Grimhild sighed at Fhiron's comment.

"I doubt that; his martial arts involves bringing out one's deepest desire and putting them inside an illusion on where they can be with that desire. If they're stuck inside the illusion long enough, then they'll sleep forever..."

Grimhild quickly ran from her position and proceeded down stairs.

"Which is why I must save Jean myself! I trust in you with the others Fhiron!"

Fhiron crossed his arms and looked up into the sky.

"Damnit... she's right... if I didn't cast that cancel barrier to block his illusion, I would be in a world with the beautiful divine wife I seek for! Aaghhhh... DAMNIT, WHY AM I SO WEAK WILLED?"

Fhiron looked down and felt utter disappointment from his pathetic weak-willed mind.

"But I'm still standing now, it doesn't matter. I'll save you three, Kyto, Elizabeth, and Pippy."

Grimhild would approach the balcony, looking over it to see Jean stagnated in the middle of the arena, still standing.

"Jean! Wake up!"

Grimhild shouted again, however she got the attention of Kumdo.

"I see... so two managed to survive my aura? I have yet to meet one, let alone two survive my aura of despair. Even if you resisted it, you're driven into madness, and lose your will to live, yet you both remain?"

Grimhild would have her eyes light up in an annihilating red glow.

"You will regret your actions from here on out Kumdo..."

The Martial artist turned to face Grimhild all the way.

"Hoh? Are you challenging me young girl? You must have a death wish... don't you?"

Grimhild would smirk; a look that everyone should fear from her, especially in the events of chaos.

"Hmph. Your existence will be eradicated...

She had respond, however this set Kumdo off. He would flex his aura once more and made it stronger than it was previously.

"I'll just make my aura stronger! Strong enough to where you can't resist it!"

He crouched down and expelled large amounts of his aura, once again covering the entire arena, even the audience around them. This time it managed to even catch Fhiron by surprise when he was attempting to wake up the others, and sending him into an illusion.

"How do you like that?! What—"

Kumdo noticed Grimhild standing perfectly fine, no barriers even put up around her.

"H-How...? How? HOW? WHO ARE YOU?"

"You fight like a coward. Is this your way of martial arts? Putting people into illusions and killing them while they're vulnerable?"

"...You damn wench! I'll kill you! I'll make you disappear into nothing!"

Kumdo leapt into the air and held his arms above his head.

"I'LL SHOW YOU THE STRONGEST TECHNIQUE, COPIED AND MASTERED FROM A GREAT TEACHER!"

Above his hands formed a large swirl of dark mass.

"THE DARK VOID!"

Grimhild's expression didn't change, she even scoffed at it.

"Dark void huh?"

Mocking the attack, her red glowing eyes seemed to glow brighter.

"THE DARK VOID TURNS YOU INTO NOTHINGNESS! EVEN DOWN TO YOUR MANA FORCE! NOT EVEN A FAIRY CAN REGENERATE FROM THIS ATTACK, YOU'LL JUST BE PERISHED INTO THE VOID FOR ETERNITY! DIEEEEE!!"

The Dark mass was launched from his hands, aiming down at the witch, however Grimhild shown no signs of caring.

"The only thing here that'll hurt me is your loud, and obnoxious voice."

The Witch started to float into the air, and then accelerated forward with the help of gravity magic, blowing right through the Dark Void.

"You think that's enough power to kill a witch? Insolent swine!"

Kumdo's eyes would widen.

"N-No... you're... the witch... Grimhild? No! No! NO! IT CAN'T BE! YOU'RE A MYTH! YOU CANT EXIST!"

"How funny, us witches usually exist as nothingness, and we're freely able to construct our physical bodies whenever we want..."

She would finally appear in front of him, gripping him by the face.

"In other words... using an attack that involves turning something into nothingness is ironic."

Kumdo had a look of fear in his eyes, his face being squeezed by her hand.

"Th-Those red glowing eyes... y-your... unfathomable mana! There's no doubt, you're real!"

"And you're dead."

Kumdo's eyes had went pure white, his pupils even disappearing in the process. He didn't know it, but he was just killed and brought back to life in an instant from her abilities as an witch. The man now regained consciousness only to fall into the ground below him, landing on his face.

"I'm alive...? Wait... I can't feel any mana...? What's happened to me?"

Grimhild looked down at the cursed man.

"You will never be able to use mana ever again, nor will you be able to cause harm to another person. You will become a saint, and a pacifist. This is your new life."

Kumdo looked up in disbelief, his body shaken up.

"N-No... you can't do this to me! YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME WITCH GRIMHILD!"

The witch pointed her staff at him.

"But I can, who's gonna stop me?"

He flinched once her staff aimed his way.

"What are you doing? It's over isn't it...? It's over right? Show me mercy!"

Grimhild would smirk again.

"Don't worry, I don't intend to kill you, but instead send you into another world."

His eyes perked up even more.

"Hmmm, maybe Jotunheim the realm of giants would do."

"NO! PLEASE SHOW ME MERCY! HOW CAN I BE A PACIFIST IN SUCH A SAVAGE LAND?! I'LL DO ANYTHING!"

"Begone."

In a thought he was vanished into Jotunheim, the staff was only for emphasis. His body transported into the sky, and went into a portal, exiting from Midgard, and into the realm of giants.

"What a fool. It's only fair I finished you off, you violated the rules and involved the audience in your battle. Death was too kind for you. I'm a person of fair justice."

Grimhild turned around to look at the audience in front of her, now raising her staff into the air.

"...I'll restore everything that has happened."

Grimhild would have the ancient letters on her staff glow, proceeding to tamper with cause and effect, changing the outcome of the events and also bringing the fairies back to their senses, and out the illusion.

"Whew..."

Grimhild was back in her seat again in the blink of an eye, and the audience all gasped.

"Huhhh? Kumdo is missing? Did jean kill him that fast?"

One of the fairies said, as they all glanced down at the arena.

"Wait... huh? Where did he go!?"

Jean questioned it, confused as everyone else.

"Waaaait... what just happened? Anyone got an answer?"

Elizabeth asked.

"...No clue, he may have just left."

Grimhild replied.

"Well that's weird. BUT I GUESS THAT ALSO MEANS JEAN WON!"

Elizabeth and everyone else stood up cheering.

"YAAAAY! GO JEANNN!"

"Huh...? I seriously don't know what happened, I'm so confused."

Jean scratched his cheek.
