The Arena Battle has finally come to an end, the warriors participating inside of it would all be revived after their deaths, however this shocked most of the foreign audiences believing that they permanently died, but no. The Medical team, mostly tasked with healing wounds of others, while also reviving mana forces after death had came forward, resurrecting previous contestants.

With the medical team doing their job, Jean was declared the winner. He was sent to stand upon a large platform down in the open-space of the arena, with a large smile resting on his pale cheeks.

"From this day forward, your name will be remembered throughout the Arena battles of Skyland Number one! You have given us great entertainment, and shown that even a boy can win the Arena battles, proving that experience is nothing more than an bluff."

The Ruler of Skyland, Lord Ensley, would flutter his wings in front of jean, placing an golden trophy around his neck, with an symbol "1" engraved in the middle of the token.

"You will have what we offered Jean! Countless riches and a kiss from a fairy!—"

"Actually, I don't really need that stuff…"

The cheering audience in the background suddenly became quiet.

"…Huh?"

Ensley was taken back by his sudden denial.

"You… wish to not receive your reward? Wasn't the whole point of winning this, was to receive what we fairies offered you?"

Jean nodded his head.

"Yes that's true… but my mind has changed."

The crowd of fairies began to speak to their peers next to each other, making theories already.

"My goal was to surpass my dad and look for the greatest treasure known to man, and even gods! I wanted immortality in order to look for those treasures without the risk of ever dying! I wanted countless riches to build a large team to help me in my goal, but that's not what I want anymore!"

Grimhild, Elizabeth, Fhiron, and Kyto smiled.

"Ehehe…"

Elizabeth could be heard giggling to herself.

"Someone else have already found those treasures I sought, and my goal is no longer obtainable. My wish is to now simply cherish the time I have in Midgard… with my friends."

Grimhild and the others snickered to themselves.

"It seems Sensei Izumi really taught Jean an valuable lesson, huh Grimhild?"

"Yes, he has indeed Elizabeth…"

Grimhild would smile.

"If I continued to waste my time searching for those treasures, I would never accomplish it, therefore I don't need any reward… how about you give it to the giant lady, Estrilda?"

Ensley was too stunned to speak, even the announcer was shocked.

"Never in one hundred years of the Skyland Arena Battles have we seen someone such as you Jean. You aren't greedy, and you have a heart made of gold. I am glad to have you here today, we all are."

Ensley spoke in such an admiring tone, turning to face the audience.

"You heard it here folks, jean wishes to give the rewards to the Giant Estrilda! He's obtained an even better reward during the Arena Battle, and that's willpower! Willpower to deny such an tempting offer. He will never be forgotten."

The Crowd of fairies hovered from there seat while some stood on their feet, beginning to exit the arena. Some were proud and some were just outright confused.

"Congratulations Jean, you're truly an admirable young man."

Behind Jean was a fairly tall man with long black hair, traditional martial arts clothing, and a very keen physique. It was Izumi Ryuu.

"A-Ah… Sir Izumi? I didn't notice you there."

Izumi would bow his head in respect to Jean.

"It was a fine battle we had. And to hand up the offer to someone else takes a lot of willpower. You have my eternal gratitude."

Jean would rub behind his head.

"Well it was nothing!

"Jeannn my boy!"

Fhiron was right behind jean, crouching down to wrap his arm around his neck, Kyto doing the same.

"You fought proudly jean!"

Kyto said with a bright smile.

"Th-Thanks guys…"

Jean blushed and felt overcrowded by his friends.

"Sir Izumi really talked some sense into me… I guess…"

"He sure did!"

Elizabeth said, standing right next to Grimhild on the sidelines.

"But I'm also curious… to why Sensei Izumi held back?"

Jean glanced at Liz who made the comment.

"Huh?"

"Oh you didn't notice?"

Izumi crossed his arms and sighed to himself, though his smile still remained.

"Ahaha… I can't hide anything in front of a disciple of mine."

Jean questioned Izumi.

"Wait, you held back against me?"

"Well I wouldn't say held back. I fought with all that I could muster, however there were instances where I could've ended the battle from your lack of experience in a fight."

Jean looked off to the side, scratching his cheek.

"Well I guess that makes sense…"

Izumi chuckled at jeans reply.

"Kuhuhu, you'll get better in no time, after all my disciple Elizabeth is traveling alongside you now, right?"

Izumi said as he glanced at the hyperactive Elizabeth.

"Right! I'll be with you jean, and I can show you how to kick butt with martial arts! You'll be my disciple!"

Jean looked happy.

"I couldn't ask for a better teacher Elizabeth!"

Pippy sat on Liz's shoulder, swinging his legs back and forth.

"Pippy will also show you how to cook and clean for him when I make a mess."

They all looked at Pippy with an irritating expression, but it eventually made them all snicker.

"Fumu. I'm in no position to deny this little guys words, he's most likely the stronger here."

Fhiron said.

"Pippy is amazing, there's no doubt about it."

Kyto would say soon after.

"Jean, I have one last thing to tell you."

Izumi commented whilst walking forward.

"I have shown mercy many times throughout our fight because I seen potential in you, I also noticed that you weren't at your fullest potential with your abilities, so master it and become a great fighter, strong enough to protect your friends and the ones you love dearly."

Jean nodded his head to Izumi's words of motivation.

"I understand Sir Izumi, I will do my best."

Izumi nodded as well, his arms still crossed.

"I will remember those words, but another question that isn't answered is… where is Kumdo?

From Izumi's comment, they all looked around and scratched their head.

"Actually I don't know…"

Liz had said.

"I don't know either, he disappeared in our battle mysteriously…? Maybe he fled."

Jean responded.

"…Hmm… that could be the case, or either this is an situation created by an witch. There's no other explanation that I can really pull out my head, except only an witch."

Fhiron and Grimhild seemed to go quiet.

"Well witch or not, Kumdo is gone, I'm sure he'll be found soon enough."

Izumi nodded from Fhirons comment.

"Yes, I suppose so. Very well then, it's been nice to meet you all, may we come across the each others path another day!"

"Bye Sensei Izumi! Remember the words you always taught me: "Sleep well, eat well, work before play, and always see the light in the day!" Ehehehe! I remember them just as you taught me!"

Izumi would smile as he turned around from the group.

"Fumu. I am glad to be your Sensei, Elizabeth… but now you have great friends, and even a disciple which is also your friend. You have lots of work to do."

He would take a few steps forward.

"Until next time."

Now vanishing from their sight.

Kyto and Fhiron proceeded to walk outside the arena with their arms around jean, all three laughing together, while Pippy spoke to Elizabeth and Grimhild in the meantime.

"And Pippy said "CHAA! YOU'LL NEVER DEFEAT ME DEMON!" Before punching the big and bad demon away, sending him flying across the sky!"

Elizabeth laughed out loud to Pippy's make believe story.

"Kahahaha! That's hilarious, what happened next?"

"Well Pippy after beating the demon would— WOAH!"

The small fairy shook back and forth on Elizabeth's shoulder, as did the others once they exited the arena. An large earthquake could be felt…

"What was that?"

Kyto asked as he looked around him.

"…To your left…"

Grimhild noted, forcing the others to look over, noticing a giant grasping two fairies in their hand.

"Hey… isn't that the Giant, Estrilda?"

Jean said.

"Uh… yeah, but what's she doing to— OH WAIT! I know those fairies! It's the ones that were picking on Pippy!"

Elizabeth shouted, now running over to the commotion, Pippy still sitting on her shoulder.

"Hey! You two, where's Pippy's sister?"

Elizabeth stood a few meters away from the giant that grasped the fairies.

"S-Save us! Save us please! We'll talk, we'll talk! Just make her put us down!"

Elizabeth crossed her arms.

"Excuse me… Miss Estrilda, what were these two men doing for you to get mad at them?"

Estrilda looked down to notice Elizabeth.

"They were going through my belongings! Apparently the winner of the Arena Battles given the rewards to me and they tried to take it all for themselves, so I'm teaching these scrawny fairies a lesson."

The fairies whimpered, tears pouring down their eyes.

"Hmmm… Well sorry you guys, looks like I can't help yah, not unless you speak!"

The fairies hastily replied.

"WE'LL TALK! WE'LL TALK! YOUR SISTER CATHY IS SAFE, SHE'S JUST TIED UP IN MY HOUSE! PLEASE YOU GOT TO BELIEVE ME!"

Elizabeth hummed to herself.

"Hmmm… okay, where is your house?"

She asked.

"It's— don't worry about that, Pippy should know!"

Pippy stood up and would raise his fist.

"You better not be lying about my sister or I'll do worse than the giant!"

"WE'RE TELLING THE TRUTH, BELIEVE US!"

Pippy would scoff at them, however the giant seemed to be focused on something else.

"Is that… the boy who's given me the rewards?"

Estrilda asked as she looked over at the group staring at her.

"Who…? Jean? Yeah, that's him."

Estrilda would seem to let go of the fairies, walking towards Jean who was dozen meters away from her. The giants large steps would cause some of the houses in the distance to shake.

"Excuse me, Jean."

Estrilda said.

"U-Uhhh… yeah?"

Jean replied hesitantly.

"I will be your sword and shield, Lord Jean… and I will serve you until the end of time. Please, hire me to be your housecarl! I wish to serve you, my lord!"

"EHHHHH?"

"WHAAAAAT?" (All)
