She fell through an endless vortex of blue and white, transcending herself into anew. Elvenia was transporting herself into a higher world where the beginning of all things would lie. Her body was transparent as her beautiful fairy wings fluttered behind her in order to keep herself afloat in this world.

"…It's expansive…"

Elvenia would mutter ever so gently. Her body eventually made it into the Root World where she was floating in an complex setting of floating objects and even abstract thoughts and concepts in the form of hovering orbs in front of her.

"What is this…?"

Elvenia could tell that the setting before her was different than the last time she had been here. Everyone's thoughts and concepts were slowly disappearing in front of her.

"…How can this be possible? Even if one were to die, their abstract thoughts would still exist inside of the Root World, so what is happening?"

As she floated through the world of complexity, she could see orbs in front of her that represented abstract concepts and thoughts created by humans, slowly disappearing.

"…Thankfully these are minor concepts unlike important concepts that we need in the world."

Elvenia would hold an orb inside her very hand, and now her eyes widened.

"This… must be the work of Orcus, there's no other way."

As she held the orb inside her hand she could feel an evil aura being emitted from it, similar to that of the Dream Devourer, Orcus.

"From Orcus' first seal being broken, is now effecting the Root World itself. This must be that monsters true power?"

Looking at the orb in her hand she would gently let it go, having it float off in the distance.

"The Root World transcends the totality of higher worlds known in Yggdrasil, it even holds that of higher dimensions and other form of higher worlds. That means Orcus can effect this world… then we stand no chance against his full potential."

Elvenia closed her eyes gently and would carry onwards through the world of the Roots.

"To think we all come from this place… even the seed of the Yggdrasil tree."

She would have a frown upon her face, still uncomfortable about her findings here.

"The Root World must have a mind of its own."

All Dual concepts existed here, and it is even unaffected by all dual concepts. Life and death, Good and Evil, time and space, love and hate. Infinite dualities that existed in the world, it hosted them all, and kept them here like small orbs that one could hold like a snow globe in their hand if they were to travel here.

"Logic cannot defy this complex world… not even my mind, despite me seeing all of it in front of me."

She would stop in her tracks and could notice a large floating orb which appeared to be glowing.

"That orb…? It's Grimhild's!"

She quickly noticed the floating orb off to the side, appearing to have a green glow around it. As she flew towards it, the glowing orb decided to Zig-Zag away from her, leaving the fairies vicinity.

"…It's escaping me?"

Her eyes widened from surprise as she began to chase it down.

"Since when has an abstract concept gained awareness? This is odd, something else must be at play."

She moved in a flash of light, zig-zagging in the orbs patterns in order to match it pace by pace.

"It's speeding up the more I get closer!"

She sighed.

"This will take forever… I must find a way."

"Okaaaayyy… let's see if I'm ready for this!"

Elizabeth slapped both her cheeks a few times and would hold out her arms at the Yggdrasil Link upon the ground. The Yggdrasil Link seemed to be malfunctioning as it was empowered with too much mana, making it go haywire.

"It's okay guys you can rely on me! I won't leave Elvenia trapped there, that's for sure!"

Elizabeth closed her eyes and could feel intense heat coming from the Yggdrasil Link.

"Oh wow that's hot!"

The large amounts of mana radiating from the tree would reach 2,000 degrees and more, casually raising the temperatures, and also the stakes of keeping it stable.

"…Focus Elizabeth… you got this!"

The Rozenheart would say as she talked to herself.

"Just concentrate and balance it out…"

All the sudden they could notice white mana pouring outside of the Rozenheart's body.

"Is that…?—"

"Yes, it's Anti-Mana."

Kyto was cut off from Grimhild, realizing it was true; Elizabeth could use Anti-Mana, the most rarest thing inside of Yggdrasil.

"I did it!"

She opened her eyes to notice the white mana slowly hovering over the drawn tree and deconstructing the mana that was pouring from the Yggdrasil Link.

"I awakened my Anti-Mana…"

The Yggdrasil Link began to slowly return back to normal, functioning as it was before.

"Woah… that was amazing! I can really show off with this!"

Her hands had a white outline around them, causing her to turn around and face Kyto.

"Hey Kyto, throw a fireball at me."

"HUH?"

Kyto was confused, his eyes opening wide.

"A fireball? For what reason?"

The Cyrodel asked.

"Aww cmon, just hit me with one already!"

Kyto would sigh to himself.

"Alright, if you say so."

He held up his hand and casted a magical circle in front of him.

"FIRE MAGIC: FIREBALL!"

The most basic of Magic one could learn at any age, however for a Cyrodel it was amplified double the amount; an large fireball shot from the magical circle, and Elizabeth would now negate it once it reached her area, all with a simple touch.

"…Huh?"

She noticed something once she negated the magic, Kyto had fell to his knees.

"Agh!"

He landed onto his hands and looked down panting to himself.

"What happened…?"

Elizabeth in worry would quickly jog to him. The others around Kyto would kneel in order to help him back on his feet.

"Kyto! Are you okay?"

Elizabeth quickly grabbed underneath his shoulder next to Fhiron.

"Yes… but for some reason I felt my mana force ache in pain…"

Grimhild snickered from Kyto's reply.

"Well of course you did; if an Non-Mana Born negates your magic, it also can destroy your mana force as well if they repeatedly do it. That's why hand to hand fight with a Non-Mana born when they're utilizing their Anti-Mana is the only way to beat them."

Kyto and Elizabeth both looked at Grimhild with wide eyes.

"If that's true then why didn't you say anything Grimhild!? That's so dangerous, I didn't know that!"

Elizabeth had hastily replied, but the Golden mage would only snicker.

"…Hehehe… it's because I wanted a laugh…"

Grimhild said, leaving Kyto to frown.

"You're sadistic!"

The Cyrodel had said.

"Only my humor is…"

The Witch responded.

"Get back here! Why're you running from me? I don't understand!"

Meanwhile Elvenia was still chasing the green glowing orb through the Root World, dodging and weaving each and every floating object that existed here.

"…Tsk, I suppose a different strategy is the only way."

As she said this, the Fairy began to duplicate itself. A clone would appear next to her as another, and another, and another did as well, creating hundreds of clones in resemblance to her.

"Swarm and dance!"

She yelled to her clones before they all nodded, now spreading apart. They all moved in sync and chased the Orb that was dodging floating constructs of higher dimensions which were formed in the shape of crystals.

"This Orb has a mind of its own… it's even mocking me from failing to capture it."

She gritted her teeth before one of her clones ended up smacking into one of the dimensional crystals, causing them to poof into black smoke.

"…Impossible, it even tricked one of my clones. Damnit, I'll have to use everything I got in order to capture it! Just a little longer Grimhild, and the blessing will be yours to take, alongside your friends!"

The Fairy had stepped on the breaks, preventing itself from flying forward any further.

"…Haaaaa…!"

Elvenia shouted as she used her telekinesis in order to grab dozens of dimensional crystals around her, and now launching them at the glowing orb.

"IF YOU CAN RUN, THEN MAYBE YOU CAN FIGHT AS WELL!? IF YOU HAVE A MIND OF YOUR OWN, THEN YOU MAY WANT TO PROTECT YOURSELF!"

The Orb had suddenly zig-zagged upwards into the void-like air, dodging each dimensional crystal, and now staring down at Elvenia.

"You are a fool…"

"Huh…? Did this orb just talk to me?"

Elvenia questioned the display before her.

"Yes, I have just spoken to you. Do you know of me…? Ah, of course you don't, but perhaps with a little bit of conversation, you can find out who I am."

Elvenia placed her hands upon her hips.

"…Alright then, speak, who are you?"

The Orb began to laugh.

"Ahahahaha, I shall tell you! My name is… wait… I forgot my name…"

Elvenia would lean in with a clueless expression.

"…What?"

The Orb frantically spun around.

"I forgot my name!! I forgot, I forgot, I forgot, I forgot, I forgot!!! What's my name?! I could've sworn I remembered it just a minute ago, so why?!?"

The fairy bowed her head before shaking it back and forth in disappointment.

"Well I hate to break it to you, but the Root World is slowly becoming unstable; an entity also known as the Orcus is slowly driving this world into the brink of extinction. It can feed off dreams of the living and dead, while also causing others to lose their memories… even floating… abstract concepts like you?"

Elvenia given the floating orb a clear and accurate expiation on what was happening, leaving the fairy to be impatient.

"…Aww that's a shame, too bad that Yggdrasil will be the first to go."

The Orb had a British accent to it, mocking the World Tree, Yggdrasil.

"Just what are you exactly…? How did you become sentient?"

Elvenia asked the orb, but it snickered.

"You'll never know, because I don't even know why!"

Elvenia risen her brow at its reply.

"Well… in that case, I'll just finish what I came here for, and that's to take you back with me."
