Chapter 38: Nokitera, The Logic Destroyer

Estrilda laid upon the ground in defeat, her limbs decapitated as well as her head. It seemed Nokitera and his logic destroying magic managed to get the best of the Giant. Estrilda's body was coated in ice from the Vimur river; an river that had the mana of Thor himself, being able to seal even gods away, and give someone mana cancer just from touching it.

Nokitera was finally at ground level, sitting on a large rock as he recovered himself.

"To think I would use this much of my strength. I'm almost vulnerable to a Red mage at this point... I'll need some rest, and to regain my mana. Using my logic magic takes a toll on my body."

The Dark knight finally began to remove his helmet, showing a dark skinned man with medium-length black hair, crimson red eyes, and a large scar upon his right cheek.

"I mustn't fail lord Dracula. As he is the ruler of the Dark Nation, making him mad will lead me to my execution."

Nokitera laid back upon the rock and took a deep sigh.

"I only need an hour. The war should still be continuing by then..."

The ground began to shake as Nokitera rattled upon the rock he laid on. The sound of ice could be heard breaking, and the feeling of intense mana heated the atmosphere around them.

"Is this some sort of joke? What monster are you, Giant girl?"

He stood back up once again, slouching over as he gripped his Halberd.

"Damnit all!"

Nokitera wasn't one to run away, thus he prepared for round two even in his weakened state.

"I'll eliminate you here and now, you savage Giant."

The dark commander was panting as the ice rattled back and forth until it finally broke apart, shattering into thousand pieces.

"If the Vimur stream cannot effect you... then what can really put you down?"

He asked himself, while seeing each block of ice that coated Estrilda's limbs break apart.

"I have nothing that can destroy someone with the immortality of a fairy. Maybe basic immortality... but this is different."

Nokitera couldn't deal with the immortality of a fairy by any means. Fairies naturally can regenerate even if one destroy their physical body, souls, or even destroy their mana force. They'll still regenerate from their immortality. Though basic immortality worked the same, but for fairies it was just simply superior than basic immortality. 

"...I'm alive..." (Estrilda)

Estrilda was still decapitated with all of her limbs missing. She struggled before growing another set of limbs. Her arms and legs came back brand new, and her body seemed to be much stronger than it was before.

"All of this mana flowing inside of me..."

After receiving multiple attacks from the Logic slash of one thousand fold, and hit by her own attack, Estrilda's mana and overall power skyrocketed.

"What am I gonna do with all of this new power?" (Estrilda)

She stood up, towering over most of the broken mountains in the area, and now picking up her Axe.

"Where's Nokitera?" (Estrilda)

"If you look for me Giant... then I am right here." (Nokitera)

He called out to her without any fear.

"You're one hard guy to beat. I used all of my strongest moves and I can't defeat you... At least I couldn't before." (Estrilda)

Estrilda smirked.

"Feeling is mutual. It's been quite some time since I've dealt with an enemy of your caliber. Tell me your name? (Nokitera)

"My name is Estrilda Leegran. I am from the family of mercenary giants back in my home realm. We're quite famous for completing multiple bounties that includes killing high ranking dragons and mages." (Estrilda)

Nokitera risen his brow in question.

"I have heard of a group of mercenary giants before. They usually come to Midgard and capture their prey, or usually kill their prey. They defeated multiple powerful opponents that even the government could not capture. It's hard to believe I'm facing one of you here and now." (Nokitera)

Estrilda would swing her large axe around and grip it with both hands, pointing the tip at the dark commander.

"You're fighting the daughter of the man who leads that mercenary group! His name is Ymir Leegran!" (Estrilda)

"Interesting. HOW INTERESTING! THE DAUGHTER OF THE MERCENARY LEADER? KA-HA! I've found the perfect hostage to bribe those filthy mercenaries." (Nokitera)

Estrilda frowned at his comment.

"Bribe them? What do you need to bribe them for?" (Estrilda)

"For more troops. Gaining troops of giants will help us in a long run..." (Nokitera)

Nokitera shown a devilish smirk, however he was suddenly punched against his body.

"...Gyaaah!!" (Nokitera)

He couldn't foresee Estrilda's attack, leaving him to be punched into his body. The sound of multiple bones could be heard breaking, and blood splurging from his mouth violently.

"....Kuohhh...!!!" (Nokitera)

He flew back and his eyes strained in agony.

"You'll bribe them huh? BRIBE THEM MY ASS!!!" (Estrilda)

She quickly appeared behind him in the flash of light.

"I'LL KICK YOUR ASS TO NEXT YEAR! NEVER TALK ABOUT MY PEOPLE LIKE THEY'RE WEAK!" (Estrilda)

She elbowed his body downwards which sent him into the ground, constructing a large crater underneath him.

"....Guh...!" (Nokitera)

Nokitera was nearly unconscious, but his willpower kept him going. He gripped his Halberd and stood up again.

"LOGIC ANNIHILATION!"

Nokitera destroyed the logic of him having to attack or raise his weapon to attack. Now countless strikes would inflict Estrilda, however it was inside her brain. He aimed to cut the logic of her thinking.

"...Haaaaa...!!!" (Estrilda)

However it was ineffective. 

"My trump card... failed?" (Nokitera)

Estrilda slammed her fist into his body, causing the crater to get wider.

"...Aaaahh!!" (Nokitera)

He screamed in pain.

"So you were aiming to destroy the logic of my thinking, were you?" (Estrilda)

She still frowned at him.

"How do... you know such a thing?" (Nokitera)

"That's none of your business. I just know that you tried to make me a mindless ape from destroying my thinking, and leave me with no strategy." (Estrilda)

She crossed her arms underneath her gigantic boobs.

"It won't work on me!" (Estrilda)

Nokitera tried to stand to his feet once more... gripping his halberd tightly.

".....All my attacks are ineffective... even my... strongest attacks leave no damage."

He coughed up blood as he stumbled back and forth on his feet.

".....You're a monster... a true monster, Giant..." (Nokitera)

"None of your logic destroying magic is gonna work on me. I've been blessed from a fairy you know? With a kiss, and with their protection over my life." (Estrilda)

Nokitera's eyes widened as he looked up at the large giant.

"Blessed with their protection?" (Nokitera)

"My friend Grimhild Yorgana, she gave her entire group a blessing for whenever calamity is brought our way. If some dangerous set of events that we can't perceive happens to us, then the blessing would activate." (Estrilda)

Nokitera looked down in disbelief, blood dripping from his lips.

"...Is that why my logic annihilation didn't work? You mean to tell me... If you perceived the attack and what it'll do, then your blessing wouldn't have activated...?" (Nokitera)

"That's right. If I knew what the attack would do, then the blessing wouldn't have worked. It's a sentient blessing, and it can tell me whatever I ask of it. After all it lives inside of all of our group members." (Estrilda)

Nokitera closed his eyes and inhaled in a raspy tone from his agonized body.

"....Fuuu...." (Nokitera)

He exhaled, then inhaled once again.

"....DAAAAMNITTTTTTTT!!!!!"

His voice reached the heavens as he yelled. Estrilda was even taken back by the action, causing her to step back a few times. Birds which was miles in distance had flew away, even with the wildlife in the forest.

His voice managed to overpower the sound of war back at Mesnil border, gaining every mages attention alongside the dark mages as well.

"...Ugh... so loud!" (Estrilda)

Estrilda stepped back with her ears covered. She didn't realize it at first, but Nokitera began to undergo a drastic change. His dark aura flared around him and reached upwards into the sky, causing a thunderstorm. Tornados in the distance began to form despite the mountains, and a massive hurricane would come about. 

Natural disasters across the entire country of Mesnil would come into existence.

"What's happening to him?" (Estrilda)

Estrilda was lifted off her feet and flew back from the powerful winds.

"....Kyaaaaa...!!!" (Estrilda)

She flew away like a leaf in an hurricane.

"What's happening back there?" (Takami)

The war between Mesnil and the Dark mages were halted. They all glanced at the enormous aura of mana coming from Estrilda and Nokitera's location.

"...It's commander Nokitera!" 

One of the dark mages shouted.

"Is that... the commanders aura?"

One of the Blue mages asked.

"It seems so..." (Komodo)

Komodo was too stunned at the sight like everyone else.

"...Damn... my back..." (Estrilda)

 Estrilda was laying back up against a mountain, now standing her ground once more.

"Huh?" (Estrilda)

Estrilda looked at Nokitera. His very existence would warp space around him, even getting close to him could shred someone apart.

"What the...?" (Estrilda)

His presence started to change the laws of the world. Concepts became illogical and the opposite of what they were. Life became death, and death became life, thus it effected the entire world.

"M-Mommy?"

Some child sitting in her room could see her mom dead on the couch before the child died right behind her.

"Rosebella! SPEAK TO ME DEAR!"

A man who just got married seen his wife die in front of him, and soon after, he would drop dead as well.

Everyone died, the living all perished.

"Hahahahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" (Nokitera)

Nokitera laughed.

"I became the embodiment of logic! All things are under my command! Everything... ALL OF IT! My mere existence tampers with dual concepts! Yes... it is like duality magic!!!" (Nokitera)

Since the concepts life and death switched around, the dead now started to rise from their graves and live, while the living sunk into their graves and died.

"Everyone in the world has been killed... except only a few who can resist my presence." (Nokitera)

"...It can't be..." (Estrilda)

"I'VE BECOME GREATER THAN A GOD!!!" (Nokitera)
