Chapter 44: Battle of Transcendence

Pippy, Elizabeth, and Jean would leave the protective barrier and out into the open, making their way towards Estrilda's location. The mages who all had been dimension locked by Jean cluelessly looked around, unable to tell what was happening.

"...He's not that far away, we can make it to Estrilda's location in time!" (Jean)

Jean and Elizabeth ran, while Pippy flew next to them.

"Hey, what's that noise? It sounds like... someone yelling in pain?" (Elizabeth)

Jean and Pippy glanced at Elizabeth until they were able to pick it up as well.

"Wait a minute... it does? But it doesn't sound like Estrilda's voice." (Jean)

"Hahahaha! Estrilda must be beating him senselessly!" (Pippy)

"TAKE THIS!" (Estrilda)

Estrilda swung her axe once again and slammed it against Nokitera's hips, slinging him to the side like a rag-doll.

"...Grk...!!!" (Nokitera)

The dark commander flew to the side until he backflipped around to recover.

"...How? How aren't you being effected by my presence? You should be dead!" (Nokitera)

"Guess it's because of my blessing. I'm just in another league compared to the others!" (Estrilda)

"Estrilda!!!" (Jean)

Jean shouted at the giant, and leapt towards her.

"M-Master Jean... you came to see me?" (Estrilda)

Her eyes widened and she dropped her axe, extending her arms to the side for a hug.

"I missed you so much! Master Jean~!" (Estrilda)

"WAIT—!" (Jean)

Jean was pulled in from her arms, feeling his body being crushed.

"...Aggh... Estrilda hold on please...!" (Jean)

"MASTER MASTER MASTER~! I CAN BEAT THAT BAD GUY WITH EASE! DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME, I CAN HANDLE THIS!" (Estrilda)

"...My back...." (Jean)

"Hey Estrilda! Me, Fhiron, and Pippy came to help you as well!" (Elizabeth)

"I love you so much master! You're so cute!" (Estrilda)

"Unnn. She's ignoring me!" (Elizabeth)

"...What is this..? Why is a fairy, champion wielder, and Non-Mana born here? Is this that group she mentioned?" (Nokitera)

"Kill... destroy... eradicate everything... bring about my resurrection..." (???)

"...Ngh... my head... is it Lord Orcus speaking to me?" (Nokitera)

Nokitera placed his hand atop his head, grunting in pain.

"...I cannot beat them! I don't have the power to win! Even though I've been granted a fraction of your power, and my logic Magic has been enhanced drastically, I still cannot win against her. She resists everything I toss at her!" (Nokitera)

Nokitera spoke to the voice inside his head, the pain getting even worse.

"...Then... I will grant you another fraction. This time, you will win. Fail me, and you will die..." (Orcus)

"...Yes master! I will defeat them! I won't fail you, I can promise you that!" (Nokitera)

The dark commander felt his aura become denser than before. It was layered in logic destroying magic. His power was drastically worse than before, causing concepts to change at an more rapid rate.

"...With this power... it'll be able to reach Asgard in minutes compared to last time!" (Nokitera)

They all glared at Nokitera who had been gifted more power.

"The tables have turned... YOU GIANT!" (Nokitera)

"Bring it on!" (Estrilda)

"...Ow...." (Jean)

Jean was finally let go from her bearhug, however he stood afloat in the air via his champion.

"...He's coming!" (Jean)

"Alright Pippy, get ready!" (Elizabeth)

"Pippy will protect you Elizabeth!" (Pippy)

"...Fuhuhu...Fuhahahahaha!" (Nokitera)

He laughed to the heaven themselves, stretching both arms to the side.

"...With his power, I became a transcendent being. Everything from before was nothing compared to what I am now!" (Nokitera)

"Quit your yapping and face us!" (Estrilda)

"Nokitera tilted down his head, facing Estrilda.

"Very well then. You'll be the first to go, Estrilda." (Nokitera)

"....Huh...?" (Estrilda)

Estrilda's face was full of fear all the sudden. It looked like she just seen a ghost, while her skin turned pale.

Nokitera proceeded to raise his arm, pointing the palm of his hand at the Giant.

"...I can't dodge that..." (Estrilda)

Despite Nokitera not even attacking, Estrilda would realize that their power gap was huge from a mere glance at the power being accumulated. 

"I have become the embodiment of Logic itself, nothing you do to me will work. After you die, there will be no afterlife, as I will send you to the jaws of Orcus, and have you swallowed, whole!" (Nokitera)

The dark commanders eyes began to glow.

"This is the power of a transcendent being. Now die." (Nokitera)

An dark torrent of mana had launched from Nokitera's palm.

"...Gah...!" (Estrilda)

Despite not even hitting Estrilda yet, it would still damage her.

"...How...? The attack didn't even hit me..." (Estrilda)

"There's no logic in a battle against an being who embodies it." (Nokitera)

Jean looked to his side, seeing an gaping whole in Estrilda's chest.

"...No way..." (Elizabeth)

"...For the first time in Pippy's life... Pippy is scared." (Pippy)

The fairy began to sweat, feeling droplets go down his forehead.

"...That was only a hint of my power." (Nokitera)

"...Ungh... gaah...!" (Estrilda)

Estrilda laid on her back, coughing up blood.

"I can't heal my wound... how is that possible?" (Estrilda)

"Against a transcendent being, your foolish Blessing and immortality will do nothing. I merely destroyed the logic of you being immortal, and now it no longer exists." (Nokitera)

The dark commander chuckled.

"It's funny. A moment ago I was no match... but now with more of Orcus' power, I'm stronger than ever!" (Nokitera)

"...Estrilda hold on! I'll do something about this!" (Jean)

Jean quickly dove towards Estrilda, landing on her chest.

"Ebony, can we do something about her wound?" (Jean)

"Nay. Estrilda has been damaged by an Transcendent being. All we can do now is hope she lasts until we can find someone that can heal her wound." (Ebony)

"...What's an transcendent being?" (Jean)

Ebony heard his question, now fusing together with Jean. 

"...I embody the very universe outside of Midgard. I am a walking bundle information, for I exist in past and future. I am Omniscient as I am omnipresent. This is the power of the Champion, Ebony." (Ebony)

After the champion spoke, Jean would fall into a deep unconscious state.

"...I can see it..." (Jean)

Jean was seeing everything in the universe outside of Midgard. From planets to stars, to dust and even time itself. He could see everything.

"...I have gifted you a state of transcendence. However it can only last for three minutes, and perhaps this can even heal Estrilda. This is the power of Ebony!" (Ebony)

"...You've given me the state of transcendence...? My body feels different than before..." (Jean)

"Yes! Your body has transcended! Mana forces are naturally fourth dimensional constructs, and now you're equal to them. As of now, third dimensional interference is impossible against you. This is what an transcendent being is." (Ebony)

"...I don't quite understand it enough... but all I know is that I have enough power to defeat him." (Jean)

"Yes! This is the power of Ebony!" (Ebony)

Ebony once again said those words. But they meant a lot, as his power was truly incredible.

"...This is the power... of Ebony..." (Jean)

"...Jean...!" (Elizabeth)

A voice was heard in Jeans deep unconscious state.

"...The ultimate power... to protect my friends... and to save Estrilda..." (Jean)

"Jean!!!" (Elizabeth)

Elizabeth called to him once more until the boy finally snapped out of it, now awakening once again.

"...I can see everything." (Jean)

Jean transformed, and his appearance looked drastically different.

"What's happening to you Jean...?" (Elizabeth)

Jeans appearance was much more... beautiful? His purplish hair became pure white, with an silver glow around it. His eyes became pure white with electricity sparking from them... and his arms and legs gained dark tattoos.

"...I am the universe. All of it is under my command, even you... Nokitera." (???)

"Is that Jeans voice...? It sounds like he's talking inside a toilet bowl. Almost like his voice is echoing..." (Elizabeth)

Elizabeth clueless at the situation before her decided to take a few steps back.

"This is gonna get rough!" (Elizabeth)

"...Impossible, how can you become a transcendent being? That's... not... POSSIBLE!" (Nokitera)

"My name is no longer Jean. Transcendent beings transcends their identity and history that they've made in the lower dimension, known as the third dimension." (???)

The transcendent being closed his eyes.

"My name is Genesis. The beginning of all and ending of all. I've existed forever, for I am the very universe itself." (Genesis)

"...Genesis is Jeans new name now?" (Pippy)

"Yes, only for now. Jean is only slumbering, therefore I will now take care of this." (Genesis)

"YOU HAVE NO CHANCE TO DEFEAT ME EVEN IF YOU BECOME EQUAL! I HAVE THE POWER OF ORCUS!" (Nokitera)

Nokitera yelled as his anger shook the entirety of Midgard.

"...Settle down. If you release any more power, you'll destroy Midgard." (Genesis)

"I'll bring all of you into the jaws of Orcus! He'll feed on you until the end of time!" (Nokitera)

Genesis risen his arm.

"Cosmic Inflation." (Genesis)

"...What?" (Nokitera)

Nokitera risen his eyebrows, now feeling an burning sensation inside his chest.

"Agh... Aaaaghh!!! My body...!" (Nokitera)

Inside of Nokitera was an inflation of cosmic forces. Gravity and time would be building up inside his body, as energy did as well. Intense energy would be skyrocketing inside of him.

"...With this much energy... it's enough to cause a Big Bang! You're insane, you'll destroy everyone!" (Nokitera)

"Cosmic inflation builds up gravity and time inside your body, as well as energy. Every speck of energy is jammed into a very tiny point inside your body. The extremely dense point will explode with unrelenting force, creating matter and propelling it outward to make the billions of galaxies and more. However it'll only happen inside your Mana force since it's a fourth dimensional construct, and quite large in fact. We won't be effected at all." (Genesis)

"...To have such an ability..." (Nokitera)

Nokitera scowled.

"...I WONT LOSE THIS EASILY, EVEN BY ANOTHER TRANSCENDENT BEING!" (Nokitera)
