(Fhiron's POV)

Yes I've noticed it forever, the threat that awaits Yggdrasil, the world tree. It's been so long, over hundred millions of years that I've been alive, bettering myself to become an wiser and more reliable king. Back in my home-realm of the elves, there were signs of catastrophe that awaited Yggdrasil. The first sign started inside of Lothlórien, and it's a day that I'll never forget.

"Fhiron! Get inside the house, and stop bothering with that human!" (Avery)

An beautiful elf, quite tall, standing at 5'9 shouted at the young King. She had long silky red hair, an large chest, with an aunty-like attitude.

"But they came to visit us! Is it really fair to leave him when he came this far to play with me? He's not like the other humans." (Fhiron)

"Fhiron, get in the house now!" (Avery)

Avery ignored Fhiron as she shouted even louder, causing him to flinch. Fhiron turned around to face his human friend, bowing his head in sadness.

"I'm sorry Beowulf... maybe another time we can play together. I have to go..." (Fhiron)

"Fhiron...?" (Beowulf)

Fhiron turned away as he walked into an large castle, surrounded by guards and other elven officers. Fhiron was royalty, thus they must keep him out of harms reach, at all costs.

"I'll see you another time Fhiron. Maybe in a few years when we're older, we can go hang out in Midgard!" (Beowulf)

"No! Fhiron will stay put inside of Lothlórien! There will be no hanging out in Midgard. That place is crawling with chaotic humans!" (Avery)

Fhiron turned his head to face Beowulf, sadness filled his eyes.

"Goodbye Beowulf... until next time." (Fhiron)

Beowulf eyes widened as he quickly ran for Fhiron but was stopped by bondages at his ankles and wrists. He couldn't break free as they were made of light magic.

"Why? Why do you all hate humans? I'm not like the rest! I don't like what we humans do! We're greedy and selfish people, but I will never be like that!" (Beowulf)

"Silence you disgusting human! I don't believe single word you say! Your people are walking fragments of chaos, you'll never receive our gratitude of any kind." (Avery)

Avery closed the castle door shut.

"...This isn't fair... why? We're not all the same!" (Beowulf)

Beowulf being an 16 year old boy at the time was trying to make a change. Every day he snuck into Lothlórien and eventually came across Fhiron. The two of them played together, always ran away from the kingdom of Elves and out into the wilderness of Lothlórien. They grew close to one another and became best friends.

There was not a single day where the two of them didn't laugh together... until today. Their friendship was ruined, by the hatred that elves had over humans, and their greedy, and selfish desires.

The Ouroboros duels were the main source of it all. It exposed how cruel and chaotic humans were. It made even the elves and fairies hate humans more than they do against the savage giants. How despicable.

"It's time for you to go." (Elven officer)

One of the elven officers picked Beowulf from the ground by his arm, escorting him out of Lothlórien by breaching an dimensional barrier to the Bifrost.

"Return to Midgard where you belong." (Elven Officer)

"...Damnit..." (Beowulf)

Beowulf looked down in agony. He felt heartbroken. He's known Fhiron for years... and now he had to leave forever.

"...I tried to show that humans can even befriend the elves, but it looks like that's impossible isn't it? Maybe one day, everyone will know that we humans aren't all the same." (Beowulf)

The elven officers ignored Beowulf as they threw him into the dimensional portal. Beowulf turned into a beacon of light as he flew through the Bifrost, reaching back into Midgard, directly into his room where he left.

"....Fhiron..." (Beowulf)

He sat on his bed with his palm upon his face. Tears even poured from his eyes, losing his closest friend.

***

It's been three long years after their separation. In elven time that's only a week compared to them, but in human time it's quite long.

Fhiron walked down a pathway inside elven kingdom, guards were even escorting him for protection, but he shown a bit of annoyance in his expression from it.

"I do not need protection. I can handle things on my own, tell my father that he overreacts like an fool." (Fhiron)

The elven guards behind him closed their eyes before bowing their heads.

"I'm sorry Prince Fhiron, but that cannot be done. The Elf Kings orders is absolute." (Elven Guard)

"So you dare ignore my orders? I can be much harsher than my father you know..." (Fhiron)

Fhiron balled his fists, catching the attention of nearby elves on the side of the pathway, staring at the commotion.

"What's gonna happen to me? I'm the second strongest Elf inside of Lothlórien, nobody can match up to my power unless they come from some foreign realm! Him saying I need protection is only offensive to me." (Fhiron)

The elven guards all looked at Fhiron with wide eyes, knowing that he told the truth. But they also knew that if they disobeyed the kings orders, then they'll be punished greatly.

"...Prince Fhiron... we understand, but protecting you is important either way! It's the kings orders Lord Fhiron!" (Elven guard)

"Tell my dad that he can shove his orders up his scrawny ass!" (Fhiron)

The ground suddenly shook as screams behind Fhiron was heard. Hundreds of elves ran away down the pathway, as an large mushroom cloud was shown a few miles away.

"What was that?" (Fhiron)

"INTRUDER! PROTECT PRINCE FHIRON! DONT LET THEM HARM THE PRINCE!" (Elven guard)

Fhiron was shocked at the display of events in front of him. He couldn't even move until the elven guards stood in front of him, forming an barrier of protection.

"Quickly prince Fhiron, retreat to the Lothlórien Castle! We will hold them off from here!" (Elven guard)

"But..." (Fhiron)

"Quickly sir!" (Elven guard)

"...No... I won't retreat. You fools, I already told you that I'm the second strongest Elf inside of Lothlórien! Who ever intrudes my home is only asking for a death wish!" (Fhiron)

Fhiron teleported in a flash of light, standing in front of the elven guards.

"I won't have you protect me, instead I'll protect you." (Fhiron)

The guards all were too stunned to speak. What could they do to stop the prince? He was too powerful for them to restrain.

"Tsk... damnit!" (Elven guard)

Fhiron walked through the crowd of elves who were running away from the intruder. Screams filled the air, and the atmosphere of terror quickly made itself known in the Elf kingdom.

"Whoever intruded Lothlórien is only asking to die. You think it'll be easy when I'm here?" (Fhiron)

Fhiron closed his eyes as an magical circle underneath his feet appeared. It was glowing gold before granting him golden wings behind his back.

"I'll find you!" (Fhiron)

The wings behind his back would flap as it took him into the air, proceeding to fly straight towards the explosion at light speed.

"Where are you bastard? It seems you want attention, so I'm giving it to you!" (Fhiron)

Fhiron came at an halt, dodging an spell that flew into the sky.

"What was that?" (Fhiron)

He looked up above him, noticing the spell was that of dark magic.

"Is that... Dark Magic?" (Fhiron)

Fhiron was taken by surprise, now looking at the ground to notice an familiar face.

"No... it can't be..." (Fhiron)

Fhiron dove down to the ground, landing on a grassy field away from the Elven kingdom.

"Why? Why do this Beowulf...?" (Fhiron)

It was Beowulf. He stood in front of Fhiron with an eerie red aura, with hints of darkness inside of it.

"...It was... the only way to see you again Fhiron..." (Beowulf)

"What? What are you talking about? What did you do Beowulf?!" (Fhiron)

"...I...I borrowed power from him... that's how I managed to get here again... through the Bifrost..." (Beowulf)

Fhiron approached Beowulf, stopping a few meters away.

"Who did you borrow power from? Tell me now! I can stop all of this before you're exposed. Quickly Beowulf!" (Fhiron)

"...His name... is... Orcus... he told me that if I break into Lothlórien and cause only a little bit of chaos, then I'll be able to be with you again. The Elves managed to lock entree into Lothlórien, but with his power I could break through!" (Fhiron)

"Orcus? Who is that...? Whoever this person is, he's only taking advantage of your broken heart! I too feel great pain Beowulf, but I wouldn't go this far. You're threatening my home as well, you know?" (Fhiron)

Beowulf widened his eyes, as tears flowed down them.

"...I'm threatening your home...? I-I didn't think of that... I only thought about seeing you again. I didn't care about the consequences!" (Beowulf)

"Listen to me Beowulf. Let me take you back home, and I'll be able to save you again. Please, trust me." (Fhiron)

Fhiron offered his hand.

"Trust you? I of course trust you with all my heart, Fhiron!" (Beowulf)

Beowulf extended his hand towards the prince elf.

"Good. Now let us get you back to Midgard before you're exposed—" (Fhiron)

Fhiron could feel an fist hit his gut.

"...Gaaahh...!!!" (Fhiron)

He stumbled backwards as an burning sensation took place inside his stomach.

"My... body..." (Fhiron)

Fhiron's pain receptors were heightened by millions of times. He could feel agony overwhelm his body, yet he still stood his ground.

"No... I won't be beaten by this Orcus' persons magic! I will save you Beowulf!" (Fhiron)
