"I-I can't control my body Fhiron!!!" (Beowulf)
Beowulf dashed forward and threw a punch, but Fhiron sidestepped to dodge it, kneeing him into the stomach.
"...Guoaah...!!!" (Beowulf)
"Beowulf!" (Fhiron)
Fhiron despite delivering the blow was worried for his friends safety.
"D-Don't worry about me... kill me if you have to! My body is being controlled!" (Beowulf)
"No! I won't kill you, don't say such ridiculous things!" (Fhiron)
Fhiron backflipped away and grew wings once again, flying into the air.
"I have to find a way to nullify the magic that's controlling you." (Fhiron)
"Ngh... Gaaaaahhhhh!" (Beowulf)
Beowulf grunted in pain as his back started to mutate. It bulged and grew in size before wings sprouted from behind, appearing boney and bloody.
"What?" (Fhiron)
"My body... it's being controlled... every section of it!" (Beowulf)
Beowulf accelerated himself towards Fhiron, holding out his hand.
"I can't stop myself! Be careful Fhiron, I'm about to use Dark Magic!"
Fhiron clenched his fists and extended one arm forward, discharging an light beam at Beowulf.
Beowulf however managed to launch a dark beam at the light beam, swallowing it whole.
"That dark magic can consume other types of magic and nullify it? How troublesome... but it can still be stopped!" (Fhiron)
Fhiron shot out hundreds to thousands of light beams in seconds, and Beowulf did the same with dark beams. The entire sky was filled with an battle between light and darkness. Most of the attacks missed and blew up mountains in the distance, as some of them created spherical explosions on the ground.
Fhiron dodged the attacks with minimum effort, and so did Beowulf as he was being controlled; their battle carried upwards into the sky, and they appeared relatively even in strength.
"...Haaaaaa...!!!" (Fhiron)
Fhiron switched up his light beams and instead created an ball of light-magic this time.
"....Hyaaaaahhh....!!!" (Fhiron)
Fhiron launched the ball of condensed light at Beowulf, accelerating itself faster than any of his other attacks.
"....Gnaaaaaa!!!!" (Beowulf)
Beowulf tried to blast away the light magic with his dark magic, but it failed. Not even his dark magic could nullify this amount of light magic, thus it overpowered him.
Beowulf hurdled down to the ground at alarming speeds until he finally smashed into the grassy field. An massive explosion now went off, shaking the entire Elven kingdom which was hundreds of miles away.
"....Ha...ha...ha..." (Fhiron)
Fhiron was panting as he felt himself drop from the sky, landing flat on his face.
"That last attack... took everything out of me... but how? (Fhiron)
Fhiron couldn't even move anymore. He tried pushing himself off the ground but it failed horribly.
"It was enough to knock him unconscious at least... so he shouldn't be dead..." (Fhiron)
The sound of rubble was heard inside the crater, catching Fhiron by surprise.
"No way... he's still up?" (Fhiron)
"...Fhiron... I can't stop myself... please run! Run away!!!" (Beowulf)
Fhiron lifted his head to look into the crater.
"Beowulf..." (Fhiron)
"Please run away! Order the king to kill me! He's the strongest isn't he? You can do that right?" (Beowulf)
Beowulf approached Fhiron in the massive crater, now walking up its hill.
"Please, run away!!!" (Beowulf)
Fhiron smirked.
"I can't even move a muscle Beowulf." (Fhiron)
"What? No way. That's impossible, you shouldn't be drained already!" (Beowulf)
"That aura surrounding your body drained all the mana inside of me. I'm all out... despite having an infinite mana supply. I'm beaten..." (Fhiron)
Beowulf tried his hardest to fight the control, but it was impossible.
"I can't be the one who kills you Fhiron... I'm your friend. We've been close over the last years with each other, and I just got to see you again today. This will forever hurt me, I'll kill my self if I do such a thing!" (Fhiron)
"I won't allow it..." (Grimhild)
"Huh?" (Fhiron)
"....?" (Beowulf)
Beowulf stopped in his tracks, as if the thing that controlled him was familiar of Grimhild.
"I've finally found you, Orcus." (Grimhild)
"Who are you?" (Fhiron)
"My name is Grimhild Yorgana. I am simply an wandering mage. I've come here to eliminate an threat that can very well kill all of us." (Grimhild)
"...You know about Orcus?" (Beowulf)
"I do. After all, he's the one who's been causing havoc inside of Midgard as of lately. He finds vulnerable hosts who will do anything to achieve what they want, but first they must do what he asks, and that is causing destruction. He feeds upon chaos, and others mana, like he did against you Fhiron." (Grimhild)
"How do you know of me?" (Fhiron)

"...I know my history. Everyone knows of the prince elf and the king elf." (Grimhild)
Grimhild pointed her staff at Beowulf.
"I'm sorry Beowulf, but once he attaches himself to an host, it's impossible to detach him from your body. He controls not only your body but your mana force itself, turning it into his own." (Grimhild)
"Even my mana force? How is that possible...? No way..." (Beowulf)
"Then... what are you gonna do to him, Grimhild??!" (Fhiron)
"I'm sorry to say this, but I must do justice. I will punish Orcus, but also take Beowulf's life for accepting such an offer, on causing destruction for his own desire. After all, I am an witch of justice." (Grimhild)
"A witch? You're a witch?" (Fhiron)
"Yes I am. But you will refer to me as an wandering mage from here on out. My secret must go unnoticed." (Grimhild)
Beowulf closed his eyes.
"Do it please Grimhild. If it means to stop my destruction of Fhiron's home... I will gladly give up my life." (Beowulf)
"No! Beowulf what are you saying? You can't just throw away your life, please don't consider this! It must be another way!" (Fhiron)
"No my friend. If a witch herself cannot even save me... then there is no hope." (Beowulf)
"Beowulf, please!" (Fhiron)
"Please Grimhild, stop this madness, and save Fhiron and his people." (Beowulf)
"BEOWULF! DAMNIT, BEOWULF!!!" (Fhiron)
Fhiron struggled to get up, feeling his arms violently wobble as he picked himself up.
"No... I won't let you Beowulf! You mustn't!!!" (Fhiron)
"Fhiron, it's been fun my friend. We've always been close, like brothers. But it's time that I move on... and accept my death." (Beowulf)
"There must be another way Beowulf! Please Grimhild, don't!" (Fhiron)
"Have you noticed, Fhiron?" (Grimhild)
"...?" (Fhiron)
Fhiron stood there panting, raising his eyebrow.
"Your world, it's dual concepts is being tampered with ever so slowly. Soon life will become death, and love will become hate. That is the power of Orcus, to tamper with reality and make the opposite effect of concepts happen. If Beowulf lives any longer, then everyone you know will die." (Grimhild)
"No... that can't be true... I refuse to believe that!" (Fhiron)
"I'm sorry elf prince. It must be this way." (Grimhild)
The Ancient letters upon Grimhild's staff, nightingale, began to glow green.
"Are you ready, Beowulf?" (Grimhild)
"I am ready. Please do it, Grimhild." (Beowulf)
"BEOWULLLLLFFFFFF!!!" (Fhiron)
Fhiron had a short burst of adrenaline as he tried to run towards his friend, but it was too late.
"Goodbye... my friend..." (Beowulf)
The evil aura around Beowulf would suddenly fade away, as his body began to disappear slowly into particles.
"NO! NOOOOO!!!" (Fhiron)
Beowulf closed his eyes, feeling Fhiron hug his waist which was fading away.
"I'm sorry my friend. I'm sorry I couldn't save you! I'll never forget you!" (Fhiron)
"Until we meet again Fhiron. In the wondrous world of Valhalla..." (Beowulf)
His body disappeared from existence, along with Orcus' control over him.
Fhiron fell to his knees and his palms, bowing his head in shame.
"It's over. Your world is now safe Fhiron, Beowulf shown courage in the end." (Grimhild)
"...Beowulf..." (Fhiron)
Fhiron cried, unable to stop his flow of tears. Sniffling harshly as he knew that he would never get to see his friend ever again. This was an harsh reality.
"How did you kill him? How did you stop such an powerful magic?" (Fhiron)
"I have an magic of my own, known as duality magic. It works similar to Orcus' magic but I have better control over dual concepts. It's the only magic I have that can help me destroy gods as well. I changed his life and made it death. Naturally Orcus can resist such a thing, but with nightingale I destroyed those resistances millions of times over from increasing the potency of my duality magic." (Grimhild)
Fhiron turned to face Grimhild, wiping the tears from his eyes.
"So it is true then. You're a witch?" (Fhiron)
Grimhild closed her eyes, tilting her witch-hat over half her face.
"Yes, I am. I am the witch of justice who travels the world and will make her own path. I am unlike the other witches. My master wanted me to be like them, but I seek my own road to life." (Grimhild)
"Witch of justice are you? Well thank you Grimhild. You've saved my people, and also put my friend to rest. Now he no longer has to suffer and feel regret when he would've killed me." (Fhiron)
"I suppose so." (Grimhild)

(Fhiron's POV)
Those were the days where I've met Grimhild as well. It was glorious, and also heartbreaking to lose my friend. I've heard of Orcus during those times, and knew how much of an threat he was. I also fell in love with Grimhild sooner or later, calling her my goddess as she stayed inside the Elven kingdom for a bit.
She obtained the respect of all the elves, especially Avery. They all loved witches dearly from their incredible control of magic, and Grimhild was the first one they've ever seen. All the elven girls wanted to be like Grimhild and looked up to Grimhild.
Eventually me and Grimhild left to Midgard for the first time. She told me that she wanted me to meet with someone else, and that other person was an fairy. I can't remember her name or face for some reason, but me, her, and Grimhild were close friends. We all worked together to find hosts of Orcus and eliminated them, however it went downhill once Orcus gained enough power and was brought from some unknown world. He was strong, but luckily he wasn't at his full power. Me,
Grimhild, and that mysterious fairy lady managed to eliminate Orcus and seal him away before he gained his full power.
No one knew that we were the ones to do it, as we separated from each other after those events, believing Orcus would never come back again. But now we can see that we were wrong.
He's back again, and this time he's causing more trouble. He has to be killed, and no one else but us can do that.
