Traveling far and long through the Outside lands were Leelee and her men that protected her. The men of Feerota kingdom were all with her; an young woman by the name Astoria, and a young man by the name William. Other group of knights were traveling behind them as protection, but it was really unnecessary due to the fact that William and Astoria were there.

"…I can't believe that everyone's gone inside of Midgard. Is it really up to us to save theworld, by traveling through the Chrono Tower?" (Astoria)

Leelee nodded her head as they walked on a dirt road full of calamity and destruction.

"Yes, we must meet with the witch Beatrice in order to restore everything back. The world can only be saved by us, no one else." (Leelee)

"…Princess Leelee, are you positive that there isn't any other way we can save Midgard? I know that these are orders from you, but the witches are cruel and sadistic people. Who knows what Beatrice would do once you ask her to restore the world!?" (William)

Astoria smiled as she risen arm to place on her chest. That same arm of hers had an shield wrapped around the wrist, holding what was known as her conceptual weapon.

"It's funny that you say that William. I myself was planning on giving up my life in return if Beatrice asks for something we have to offer. I'll do anything to bring everyone back! For my people, and for princess Leelee's guaranteed safety." (Astoria)

"Hey, don't talk like that Astoria! Don't you dare think I'll let you die. Not when I'm here, I'll make sure we all come out of the Chrono Tower alive." (Leelee)

William looked down worried. His red and gold plated armor shone in the rotating sun above them, also known as Asgard. He was powerful, both him and Astoria, however he doubted his strength when that of of a witch is involved.

"You are brave Astoria, and Princess Leelee. I know true bravery when I see it; you Astoria, wish to specifically bring back your clan, the Kyoko's. And for you Princess Leelee, you don't only want to restore the world back to its original state, you also want answers about why Beatrice cursed your father with an terrible illness." (William)

Leelee jumped up as if she was frightened.

"…Busted…" (Astoria)

"W-What made you think that? Hahahaha! No no, that's definitely not on my agenda!" (Leelee)

William sighed.

"It's obvious. I know you better than I know the amount of men I killed in my life." (William)

"And that really means something since William counts his death rate!" (Astoria)

Leelee puffed her cheek, pouting.

"Hmph. You're just assuming things William, I am not gonna confront a witch! I'm not feisty like that!" (Leelee)

Astoria giggled.

"Oh really? How about that time during the war against the Dark Nation, you kept begging them to bring out Dracula. You also said that you'll be the one to have his head." (Astoria)

"H-How did you hear about that? You weren't with me when we went to war against the dark nation!" (Leelee)

Astoria stood up straight and crossed her arms under her breasts.

"Ohhh I just overheard the group of men talking in the Lobby. They said that your charisma was even stronger than the Dark mages spells. You're quite scary when you're serious aren't you? My little Leelee~!" (Astoria)

Astoria leaned forward to tug on Leelee's cheek, treating her like a child.

"Hey! I'm not some child Astoria, I am your princess. Just because I'm small doesn't change a thing, I can have you restrained!" (Leelee)

Leelee tugged her head to the side, trying to get away from Astoria's pinches.

"Men! Restrain her!" (Leelee)

The group of knights behind them approached Astoria, however they were all stopped once the Kyoko turned around to stare them in the face. Astoria's eyes lit up in crystal blue.

"…S-She's a monster… there's no way we can restrain her!" (Knight)

They all were paralyzed from fear.

"Good grief Astoria, there's no reason to use your Kyokogen on them." (William)

William shook his head in shame.

"Alright, enough fooling around you two, it looks like we're almost there!" (Leelee)

Leelee and them walked up a hill to see off in the distance. An vast landscape full of gray clouds with terrible thunder and lightning. The magic was so dense inside the atmosphere that one could even suffocate if they were exposed to this land for so long. An swirling mass of clouds even circled around an large tower that reached to the clouds. It was the Chrono Tower.

"I-I can't go on… any longer…" (Knight)

One of the knights fell to their knees as multiple others done the same.

"Huh? What's wrong?" (Leelee)

Leelee quickly ran over the the group of men, kneeling to check if they were alright.

"I believe this area is far too much for any normal man to be around. If they're exposed to such high rating of mana like this, they'll be killed." (William)

Leelee looked back at William.

"What do you mean?" (Leelee)

"Well naturally mana exists everywhere, it's an universal concept that any being can use except those of Non-Mana Borns. Mana exists in the trees, plants, the water, and even the air you breathe. It's all around us everywhere."

William sighed.

"However being exposed to such an high rating of it can end up giving you Mana Cancer; we call it cancer because it's cancerous. And because it's an uncontrolled disease anyone can catch from certain spells or high exposure to immense Mana. Once you obtain mana cancer, your mana starts being absorbed into the surrounding area around you, and can even empower your enemies who gave it to you by their spells. It's dangerous, as it can eat through your mana inside your mana force, eventually destroying your mana force as a whole. Doesn't matter if you have large amounts of mana, or even an infinite supply of mana. Mana cancer will strip away all your mana in minutes."

Leelee stood up and walked towards William. She understood how terrifying mana cancer was. Even releasing massive amounts of mana from spells and from your body can give others mana cancer.

"Well if they caught something that dangerous, how can we save them? Is there a way to heal mana cancer!?" (Leelee)

"It's possible, but it requires expertise in healing magic. Not even someone like Arcana can heal mana cancer, and she's an master in all types of magic. Realistically it can only be done by someone like a witch or god of some sort." (William)

Leelee looked behind her to face the group of knights.

"What is Sir William saying?" (Knight)

The group of knights were panicking as they laid there feeling drained.

"Are you saying we'll end up dead in a few minutes because we caught Mana Cancer?" (Knight)

William nodded. Regret showered his face.

"Unfortunately yes… no normal man can withstand the effects of Mana cancer. With such an high degree of mana like this, it's definitely stage 3." (William)

Leelee placed her hand onto her chin.

"…No… there's gotta be something we can do." (Leelee)

Leelee would then snap her fingers.

"I got it! William how about you use your Conceptual Weapon to stop the mana cancer? You can do that right?" (Leelee)

"…I cannot." (William)

Leelee eyes widened.

"Why not? Are you refusing not to, just because?" (Leelee)

William would unsheathe his conceptual weapon from its scabbard, holding it into the air above him.

"My Conceptual weapon D'arc is meant to slash any distance between me and my enemies so I can reach them instantly. I can even cut away distance to retreat away from my enemy. That's it's embodiment; it embodies the meaning of tactician. I have yet to find all its capabilities but that is what it's known for as of now." (William)

Leelee stomped her foot.

"Damnit! Then what about you Astoria? Does your weapon do anything that can help these poor men who offered to join us on our trip?" (Leelee)

"Unfortunately princess Leelee, it doesn't." (Astoria)

Leelee clenched her fists as the bunny-eared crown on her head started to wiggle its ears.

"Doesn't anyone have something that can help?!? We should've come more prepared than this!!!" (Leelee)

Astoria widened her eyes as if something clicked in her head.

"Actually I may have something that can help on this situation!" (Astoria)

Both William and Leelee glanced at Astoria with wide eyes.

"What did you say?" (William)

Astoria quickly approached the group of knights and crouched to her knees.

"Everything William said is true. Mana cancer is deadly, but he didn't mention about the other stages of it, now did he?" (Astoria)

"What does the other stages have to do with anything? They were irrelevant to our conversation." (William)

Astoria chuckled as she removed the helmet from a knight and gently held their face by their cheeks.

"There's stage one of mana cancer, and stage two, then three. Stage one can be cured quite easily, as it naturally occurs when someone wastes too much mana in a battle and then produces more, eventually using up bits of their mana force itself. Stage two is quite troublesome to heal, and it naturally happens once stage two isn't dealt with in a weeks time or more. Only experts in healing magic can heal stage two, but for three it's different as William said." (Astoria)

William risen his brow.

"What are you getting at?" (William)

"You missed one more group of individuals that can heal mana cancer… and all stages of it." (Astoria)

William then realized.

"Wait… the eyes of an Kyoko! The Kyokogen?" (William)

"Heheheh! That's right! Don't you go forgetting about us Kyoko William! We're all gonna come out of this alive!" (Astoria)
