Chapter 327 - Su Yushen's eyes deepened more. (2)
Everybody was touched by the speech.
They all wondered at the same thing whether they would be able to make it onto the Achievement Board.
Some even told their friends and families after dinner and urged them to come and take a look.
Even though they were only talking about the stories being posted on the wall of a restaurant versus a newspaper, but this was the Achievement Board that they were talking about. That was certainly something to be proud of!
Master Wu and Manager Zhou, especially, dragged their colleagues and relatives to the restaurant as soon as lunch hour hit.
They were on the Achievement Board. They were not going to be shy about it and they want as many people to find out about it as possible!
Many wanted to come and check that out after they have learned about it, but it would be rude to come to a restaurant without ordering anything.
As such, the restaurant went from being empty to being crowded.
The restaurant had never been this busy even before the incident.
Everybody working at the restaurant were exhausted but it was the happy exhaustion.
The restaurant was finally up and running again. They would no longer need to worry about being unemployed.

After Su Yueshen had brought Xiao Jiu back, he never brought up bringing Gu Yilan back nor breathed a word about re-marrying her.
It was no big deal in the first day or two. But the Su family still hadn’t said a word after over a week.
The Gu family started to fret.
Mother Gu, “Yilan, has Yueshen mentioned when you are going to get remarried?”
Gu Yilan looked a little disheveled. “He said after a il while.”
Mother Gu frowned. “What does that mean ‘a little while’? Did you not ask him?”
Gu Yilan shook her head.

Mother Lu was annoyed by Gu Yilan’s cluelessness. “This is important. Why wouldn’t you ask? Speaking of, it had been a few days since Yueshen had come by. What had he been busy with lately?”
Big Brother Gu, “Brother-in-law is about to return to working as a government official. I don’t think he will have the time to swing by recently.”
Old Mr. Su was the Deputy Director of the Revolutionary Committee before everything happened. Now that he had resigned, Su Yueshen would be stepping up to take his place.
Su Yueshen had always been a competent one. Had it not been what had happened to him, he might already be the Deputy Director. Now that it had taken longer for that to happen, he seemed to be more apt for the position.
Big Brother Gu recalled how Su Yueshen sent Big Sister Fang straight to the police station and later on sent Lai Muqing away and he felt worried.
Mother Gu, “If Yueshen doesn’t have time to come, then you should go visit him. Yueshen is become more and more outstanding. You need to keep a good eye on him!”
Gu Yilan’s brows furrowed deeper. “But Yueshen told me to not go visit him. He said we have not gotten re-married yet. It would not look good with me visiting him.”
Mother Gu panicked when she heard that.
What did that mean?
Her daughter was Xiao Jiu’s mother. What was so wrong with her visiting him?
Unless…… unless he had no intention of remarrying her!
Looking at how pale her daughter looked, Mother Gu did not dare share her speculation with her.
She later on bought some snacks and went over to the Su’s family to find out about their stance using visiting her grandson as an excuse.
Low and behold, the Su family beat around the bush. They were dodgy and never gave her a definitive answer.
Mother Gu broke down after she had returned home.
Her son-in-law had a change of heart. He did not wish to remarry again!
The Gu family was more shocked and helpless by this finding than when they found out that Lai Muqing was the one who sold Xiao Jiu.
To make matters worse, they were unable to get ahold of Su Yueshen. The whole family ran around like chickens with their heads cut off.
They were indescribably worried.
