Kanae ordered them to stand down.

"As I speak, the Order of the Knights of Colors marches from the south and the demon lord's forces from the north. They want to take this land from you, but I want to secure it for all of us. Now more than ever, we should come together under a single banner. My banner of the Eminence of Sin. From now on, this land will no longer be called no man's land. I hereby unite Highgreen and Talahurah under my rule, and our kingdom will be named the Commonwealth of Sin. Anyone who wants to take this land from us will have to pry it from our claws, horns, and tails!"

Thousands of beastmen erupted into cheers. Ehmvier and Talahurah raised their fists, howling and chanting their new leader's name.

Kanae's sigil began to glow brightly, blinding her and Edina. When the light subsided, they saw that something had been added above the heart tattoo. It was a crown seared into the skin like the sigil. When she brushed a hand over it, texts flitted across the screen.

"Those bastards… The demons came to no man's land to be an excuse for the Protectorates to come here. Their real plan was to attack Highgreen and claim the resources in Charron's name," Kanae explained in short.

Any opportunity to mess with the Outriders was a good day for Edina.
