Pov- John

"Who's there?" The SF said while pointing his gun at his surrounding.

How did he find us? Mode 2 can hide my presence to the point that even Rey couldn't find me and yet he found us?

I was about to get out when suddenly, someone in a black cloak appeared. I didn't sense him at all.

"Ho? How did you notice me? This cloak has the ability to hide my presence and aura and yet you still noticed me?" The cloaked guy said menacingly.

"I can't beat the shit out of you without noticing you first," said the guy who grabbed a stick as his weapon.

"Ho ho, you still didn't answer my fucking question."

They then walked toward each other while they are colliding their auras.

They then got into a standoff with both of them staring at each other menacingly.

"Worthless!!!" The guy with the stick said as he smashes the black rod at his enemy.

The enemy just blocked it with his arm as he stared at him with a bit of pride.

"Ho, that's also you got little peasant?"

"Not yet, Worthless, worthless, worthless, worthless, worthless, WORTHLESS!!!"

"We're going to play that game huh? Allow me to enjoy- puhak," he wasn't even able to finish his sentence as he got blown away by a bullet that was fired by the SF trainee making a big crater and smoke in the area. The firepower of that gun easily is B- in rank.

"Oh man, and here I thought I was going to have my very first standoff," the guy with a stick said disappointingly.

"Very first standoff in the week?"

"Yep"

"*sigh* you still needed to go to prison-" he was also interrupted when suddenly, the enemy threw a speeding rock at them blowing the SF guy through the house.

"JASON!!!"

The reaction he had was late, but it was there nonetheless. The rock was just that fast and he was also surprised so having a late reaction is normal. So the SF guy's name is Jason huh?

"That guy deserved it. He interrupted our fight," the enemy said while cleaning himself up from all of the stuff he got when he was blown away.

"You bastard, die!" He said a battle cry while running toward him in an instant.

"It'll take more than that to defeat me," the enemy said with a smile as he dodge the stick with an efficient body movement.

"Worthless, worthless, worthless, worthless, WORTHLESS!!!"

"Chanting your whole attack is just so useless!"

A phase of attacking and dodging happened. The guy with a stick was very fast but the enemy would just always dodge them in time. Their speed is also almost the same but the difference in body movements changes it all.

"Should we... Help them," said Hela beside me. Now that I looked at her, she seem to have trouble containing something.

"If you want to pee then just pee in this forest. No one will look I promise."

"I am not... Having trouble peeing." She said with an irritated tone.

"Oh, why look so Restraint though?" I asked. Normally I don't pry with someone else thing and all but she just looks so restrained today.

"I... Want to save them," she said in a monotone but convicted voice.

"You're like that huh?"

To be honest, I still know almost nothing about her. Her origins, morals, and even her goals. Even then somehow, Rey and Clay trust her already implying that they know something that I do not know. I guess I should trust my comrades more.

"Yeah, let's make a move, that guy looks like he has the same thing that the enemy we fought last time. I couldn't sense them again."

Hela nodded vigorously agreeing to my sentence.

"He also doesn't look as tough as the guy we fought but here he has more emotion. Though I still can't sense him means that he fakes his reactions and expressions. Same case with the guy who beat me up to a pulp."

I stopped while thinking of a plan to stop him.

"Hela, can you use your wind magic for a sure kill? If he noticed us here then things will get needlessly complicated. I'll shoot some bullets for a sure kill," I ordered. I might be actually a natural on this.

She nodded normally as she suddenly turns into her wind-like form. Hela explain her powers to me when we were in the training room so it got quite easy for us to communicate.

Her wind form powers are to replicate nature. Pretty vague but that's what she said. The only example I got is that she can replicate calamities that cannot be stopped.

Her transformation is now complete, she made a stance as she aims at the enemy with a fierce but non-existent aura.

"Wind: percutiens"

She muttered quietly as I cover her back with my gun.

Her path was trees, bushes, and rocks but she calmly jumps through them with ease as if she were one with nature.

The two of them were still fighting but when suddenly, the enemy noticed Hela coming to him. As expected from a mysterious enemy.

He then finishes off the purse guy with a big punch as he flew away with great force, bigger than his friend over there in the straw house.

"Change of plans, I'll save him first!" I shouted while I was running at Hela as I can only hope she acknowledged it.

I ran to him matching the speed while also firing some bullets at the obstacles so that he doesn't get hurt. The bullets were a class C+ in ranking and it always packs a punch.

There was something that I never expected to be there though.

A cliff? Of all places, there is a cliff there?

Guess I'll have to use it here huh?

[MODE 1]

I ran faster than I was ever before as I ignore every single obstacle standing in my way.

The distance between us got relatively closer so I reached my hand to him catching his hand before he fell into the cliff.

A sigh of relief then escaped my mouth as I deactivate mode 1.

"That was close, too close for comfort."

I pulled the seemingly unconscious guy and placed him on the ground. He has a hat and glasses, black hair, a grey unzipped jacket, a blue t-shirt, and blue jeans. He also seems to be okay if you ignore his massive swollen face and is just unconscious.

Wait, why am I doing this? Gotta help Hela first.

Got sidetracked a bit there. Anyways, since he's confirmed to be alive, I'll assist Hela for now.

I ran back to 9ur previews location just to find a sitting Hela seemingly waiting for me.

"So, how did it go?" I asked naturally. I got used to her in the training ground.

"I... Lost him. He's severely wounded but he threw his arm off to my face making me surprised for a few seconds concluding with him running away."

"That's... Very unfortunate and unexpected."

Hela said that her wind-like thing mostly homing attacks that always guarantees a hit but to think that the enemy countered it by sacrificing his arm just to get away is pretty... Now that I think about it, it ain't too far-fetched to say that they do this normally.

"I guess it's just better luck next time huh?" I asked to myself.

...

Wait a minute, shouldn't we check on the other kid?

Pov-???

That was a rough ending.

I barely got out alive sacrificing my arm.

That woman did some serious damage to me but to think she uses that energy like my master does already means danger.

I have to get away from this place fast and find a way to contact the master or this may ruin his plans.

My only objective there was to kill those two rookies but two experts suddenly appeared and one almost killed me.

Fortunately, that woman seem to not be bothered chasing me. She also had a guy that was assisting her, maybe an assistant? One thing is for sure though.

Their speeds aren't of any normal hitman nor assassin. That guy, in particular, didn't use mana and yet still was able to keep up with the guy I threw while also avoiding obstacles and removing the possibilities for him to hit trees and rocks. Precisions like that aren't possible unless he was that guy of course.

"I have to report this to my master. This is too unexpected."

The place I am right now in a subway somewhere around Rosemary City. Raking a train seems to be a way to go then mainly because they can't see me with my cloak.

{Train from St. Louise to Rosemary City is arriving. The next location will be Carbon City.}

Just in time then.

I walked to the door, waiting for it to open.

As it opens, I noticed a guy fiercely staring in my direction. I was used to Ignoring these kinds of stares but I didn't realise that he was actually staring at me.

After the full door opened, it was revealed that he was holding a gun aiming it at my gut at point black range.

He clicked it so fast to the point that I wasn't even able to retaliate. I was already dead.

He then muttered something as my consciousness fades away as I fell to the ground and the abyss.

"Your participation in the future will not be needed. Die before making more problems."

Those were the last words heard before I rested.
