Later the following day,
A boy sat in a big red gold coated chair embedded with jewels. He was staring at 3 stacks of papers. These papers were titled “wanted” and they had pictures of different people. The name of the people and the price for dead and the one for alive. The people who had zero coins for dead meant that the person was only needed alive.
Sigh!!!
Knock knock
“Come in" said the crown masked boy in the chair. Four people walked it. This was the bow, dagger, spear and sword masks. They walked in front of him and greeted him with a little nod.
“We have a total of 35 bounties. There are 7 B rank individuals, 5 A rank large groups, 3 B rank medium-sized groups, 8 B rank small groups and 12 C rank individuals. We need all the information on these guys so send out some phantoms with high levels in shadow’s cloak to gather information on them all. If the situation seem dangerous they should send feedback to you and we will send whisper’s to finish the jobs.” Said the crown.
“okay. What about the recruitment issue? You said that you would find a way to test them.” Said the spear mask.
“that is easy, the whisper class has a dream creation skills that allows the user to make simulations. Its useless in combat but every good for information extraction. We can’t hurt a user in the dream but we can scare them and see what they do. I think later whisper classes, do mental attacks and can even kill in the dreams.” Said the crown mask.
The dagger mask also nodded in agreement like she knew what the person was talking about. This dream creation skill; clouds was the skill at level 10 whisper.
The bow mask then asked “how are we going to handle the bounties you picked out. Our people ate not really assassins yet.”
The crown mask then stood up and looked at the fire burning in the fireplace behind him. He stared poking it with a metal rod that was in on the side as he said “ this world is a violent one, every business here has soldiers. The business we have entered needs to be secured even more since it deals with intelligence. Intelligence is a very important and dangerous thing. If people think we are not protected, then we will be wiped out. The people I chose for the attack squads are talented and have been trained by us; after these bounties we will be able to know whose made out for administrative services and those who can protect the company”
The other guys all had seemed to understand how serious the situation was and there was a long moment of silence. Then the sword mask finally broke the silence and said “those guys are pretty tough so they should be able to survive especially after the beating you gave them"
Everyone laughed as they seemed to recall a funny story.
The next day,
At the Raider mansion, Kevin with a puppy on his head was walking behind his father as they inspected some crates of materials in a warehouse in the back of the estate.
“Kevin, what have you been up to. There are some masked kids running around at night and my sources say they are not as simple as they look. Do you know anything about them.”
“Yes father, I have a contact with them but the information about them is not as cheap as you seem to assume.” Replied Kevin in a calm manner.

“Is that so. Am assuming you have something you want so speak your mind. If the information is worth it, I will definitely pay well.” Said Steven.
“The organization is actually very big. It trades information and has been planning an official debut in the western midlands. I don’t know details but I know they are looking for a partner to help them with some transactions and they are willing to pay with something generous.” Said Kevin.
“so these guys want to use kids to move information. Kind of disgusting to exploit the kids. They want help breaking into the scene. If you believe the reward they offer us worth it, then you should recommend our company to them. I will pay you generous if all this turns out to be worth it. Also be careful. Those guys definitely approached you knowing that you could connect them to me. They are trouble.” said Steven in a worried face.
“Will do?” replied Kevin as they continued with their inspection.
Meanwhile in the training yard,
Gus and the others were channeling mana all around their body. After getting the second session of the understanding of magic. Kevin was able to create a mana circuit that improved the overall body while having an attached section that doubled the enhancements on certain body parts.
His circuits were very complex since they were not very optimized but these guys were not ordinary people so with a little effort, they had been able to understand the main body circuit that was like a foundation.
The problem came in when trying to control the secondary circuits that increased specific areas. Every time they tried to channel in them. The main one would crumble. Kevin had already understood how since his system seemed to give him high understanding abilities or was it just because he was actually 46 +5 years old.
Kevin had told them that they should use the main foundation circuit all the time until it was like breathing for them since he had reached this level but they all just seemed to remember that this guy was a completely different level monster compared to them.
Channeling mana through the main circuit was like doing a prank exercise (stomach hardening exercise) so they were currently sweating and Gus had farted so many times that they felt like they were getting poisoned. Otis who had the worse talent for mana had cried twice but he new he need this circuit more than anyone else since it was a high grade circuit.
The system had marked it as a C rank circuit when Kevin drew it on the paper with his scribe job.
C rank artifacts were high grade stuff that only the privileged managed to use since that stuff was pretty expensive. Even for rich families like Kevin’s. The B rank stuff was even more expensive since they were rare as finding an ice cream stand in the desert. And finally the A rank items, these legendary items were beyond rare to the point that all the A rank items and monsters in the kingdom were marked and ranked.
Monsters that reached B rank had adult human level intelligence and some A rank monsters could even transform into human forms. They represented high levels of danger so the kingdom used politics to made deals with them. The monsters would be killed immediately they seemed to not want to be incorporated into the kingdom system as allies.
The kingdom used these high level monster to keep other monsters in check bit of course the beasts were not easy also. The kingdom had to practically facilitate these guys like well off family in exchange for their services as part of the kingdom’s protection system.
The number of A rank monster guardians a kingdom had, the more secure they were. If any of the guardians died it could led to a possible invasion. The kingdom these guys lived in was the kingdom of Markchester.
