The entire cave was shaking as I lay in my miserable state. I could only guess what was happening outside of this cave. No matter what I did I could not break free from these chains that bound me. The only thing I could think about while I lie here are the last moments I spent with my loving mother. Unlike my useless father, my mother was what a true ruler should be.

After she died a lot of my fathers extra work would be forced onto me. I have no idea how she ended up with such a man. He is truly a useless father, and now because of him we are in this mess. Or is it because of me? Maybe I could have done something, but I overlooked the person my father hired. Does it even matter? I wish my mother were still here. She was a true genius, but she had to go and die before she even reached 40.

Before I realized it tears were flowing down my cheeks. All of these years I have spent with the burden of the kingdom's people that she left me with. “It isn’t fair, mother.”

I know I am just being a selfish and spoiled child, but I wish you were still here to ease my burden. I feel like I would have been crushed eventually by the people even if I didn’t end up in this situation.

They all call me a genius, but the truth is I would be completely useless if it wasn’t for my “Spatial Awareness”. What a truly pathetic prince I am. In the last moments of my life, all I can do is complain. “I won’t even be able to find that person that was your servant mother.”

“My oh my, now that is an expression truly fitting for one such as yourself. The person who I loathe!” The cultist person said as he appeared before me, but I didn’t even have energy left to respond.

He slowly pulled down his hood revealing half of a burnt and wrinkly face. He was completely bald, but the other half of his face had seemed familiar. Indeed, I finally remembered the face. I was looking at none other than my mothers loyal servant. The one who I had believed could rescue the kingdom from this situation. He was the one person that I thought would be there for all of us. He was what I had always looked up to. He was true strength, or at least that’s how it should have been. But why?

“Just why are you doing all of this Reid? Weren’t you the kingdoms…” I was cut off as he glared at me.

“You are an ignorant fool! This is why I hate you! I truly, truly, truly despise you! You do not know anything! You do not know how much I suffered! You are not fit to speak! My lord has taken me in and saved me from my suffering. I have found salvation in the words spoken by the true lord long ago! She will rid this world of the ugliness that is your human self. Indeed, I saw it long ago! Humans, we are all scum. Your mother knew this too…”I felt my rage boiling again.

“Don’t you dare talk about my mother! She loved this kingdom, and she was loved by the people!” I spit my words out as if they could cut deep into his flesh.

“Because that is what you believe, then you will die a fool just like your mother and father…”

Immediately he touched me and teleported me somewhere. When my eyes adjusted I saw my father chained to some sort of altar in the center of a large cavern. There was another altar on the pedestal facing my father and a magic circle underneath the large pedestal.

He chained me to the altar opposite of my father then began to walk over to him. He stood there in silence for a bit, but then he began to speak to me.

“Tonight you and your father will perish, and the family heirloom magic will be usurped. The foe who Enderman once triumphed over will once again live. Truly, it is a wonderful situation! My lord had planned this for quite some time. The dragon itself will help the true lord Eliah bring about chaos in this world! Oh, how I long to see it! This ugly world will be cleansed! And you will be the first sacrifice as the dragon is summoned from your own fathers magic. Oh, how enviable to be able to become a pillar that begins the judgment brought about by the true lord.”

I could only listen to his long monologue. There was nothing I could do anymore. I could only watch the unfairness of this whole situation and lament the choices I made up until now. I see, I am just like my father, completely useless.

When I thought that several more hooded men came into the room, and then Reid spoke. “Let the ritual begin.”

They began a long chant and the magic circle beneath me and my father started to glow an ominous purple color. When they were done chanting I watched in horror as Reid carelessly walked up to my father. I waited for some sort of savior to arrive and rescue us from this situation, but it was not to be. The horror level only rose as Reid put a ceremonial dagger up to my fathers neck and swiftly he ended my fathers life just like that. Like it was nothing he slashed the neck of the supposed most powerful man in the kingdom, and I could only watch in silence as his blood poured down into the magic circle.

Then the cave started to rumble, and the magic circle glowed even more brightly. I heard a growl coming from deep within the magic circle followed by the rumbling of the cave. Then the cave became completely covered in an ominous shadow…
