We were currently standing in the plaza of the city. It was the day after we commenced our raid on the capital of Somber. I created a podium to speak from, and the people of the city were all looking at me, terrified. Last night I threatened them to show up here today. I remember floating above the city and broadcasting my voice across the burning city while laughing. Now it was time to let Marqus Solus speak. Anyone who doesn’t agree with his terms, I will simply kill.

Marqus took the stand and began speaking to the people. I was floating behind him just in case. “The capital has fallen, and the soldiers in the capital are dead. We could not agree with the terms the capital had placed on its citizens. This is the reason for our rebellion. I could no longer stand back and watch as the beastkin were thrown away from their families into cages! With the takeover of the capital all beastkin will be freed under my command! I urge everyone to release them from their homes!”

Murmurs started to spread from the crowd, but as soon as anyone started to voice opposition, I severed their head with a shadow tendril. The crowd grew even more terrified, but they stopped speaking completely. A select few people must have agreed with freeing the beastkin because they were smiling. Marqus continued his speech to the people. It was so long that halfway through I was starting to get bored. I lazily floated in the air playing with a lock of my hair.

Rela got my attention as the speech was coming to a close. “What is it?” She shook her head, and then she urged me to follow her. After following her away from prying eyes and ears she finally spoke out. “A barrier that I have placed hundreds of years ago has been broken. Ariela has been freed. Perhaps I should have just killed her.” Ariela, that name brough nostalgia. It was the beastkin in the game that would play pranks on everyone.

[Ariela POV]

“Yes!” The barrier finally shattered before my eyes. It was a little sooner than I had anticipated, but I was positively elated. I began to jump up and down as Reid returned to the cave. “I see it is finally broken, my lord.”

“Indeed, that shitty Rela must be quivering in her boots right now. I can finally make my move!” I looked down at Reid who was smiling. “What are your orders, my lord? I will do anything you ask of me.”

“First I need to make sure that this cave hasn’t wilted me. I will need to test my powers.” I turned my hand into a fist. I was ready to get out of this rotten cave. “I recommend going to the Ender Kingdom first. The capital is the closest to us, and they have been weakened since the attack by the true lord.”

“Good idea, have your subordinates make the arrangements, and we will go there immediately.” He went into action immediately as the robed subordinates entered the room.

The thought of terrorizing the kingdom my queen had brought to ruin filled me with joy. I will finally get to test my strength against the people of this world, but Reid told me through his reports that the people of this world might be weaker than I remembered. I just hoped they could entertain me at least a little bit.

As I exited the cave there was already a pack of ratkurn newly summoned by Reid’s subordinates. Most of the ratkurn had previously been killed in the raid on Ender by Ilya. I would forgive Ilya for destroying my pets, but I will never forgive Rela.

As we started heading to the capital of Ender mounted on the ratkurn, I started to think about what I would do to Rela when I meet her. I would make her bow down to me, and then I would kill her. That bitch needed to suffer for all of the years of loneliness that cave brought me. I wasn’t the same naive beastkin I was when she had brought me to my knees.

My plans were already in motion. It wouldn’t be long now before Erevyn causes the resurrection of the true lord. I won’t follow a fake, and I am sure that Erevyn still agrees with me. She would never betray me; after all, we were of the same mind.

All of these years of loneliness I will take back tenfold, and I will make this world how it used to be. The true lord will be at the top of the food chain once more, and even the church will bow down to her greatness. I was getting giddy as the ratkurn clicked to one another. I pulled out a purple stone that still shone brightly since that day. I hugged the stone close to my body.

The stone had been given to me as a memento before her death. She told me I would understand the purpose of the stone when the time comes. I think I finally understand. It must be to bring her back! Why else would she leave me with something so precious from her own inventory? I clutched the stone even tighter. “I will be with you again, my queen.”

The days and nights passed before we finally arrived in front of Weedle, the capital of Ender. It was finally time to go on a rampage. No one would be spared from the wrath that I have caged inside of me. These ignorant people who bestow hatred upon my queen will know terror. I will not stop until even the king has lost his head.
