Chapter 3: Meeting the FL

When I got to my destination, I landed in a alley and put the hoodie on me, covering from my head down to my knees. ("I should look like a human now") I thought to myself as I walked back to the street and pretended to be walking to work. In front of the ML's building, I took a few breaths before walking into the lobby. "Excuse me". I said to a woman passing by. The woman gave me a glare, "What is it". She said, I wasn't really afraid of people but my voice just automatically become quiet. "Um, I'm the new janitor here and I wanted to know where the supplies were." I said looking like I was shy. The woman looked at me with a wicked smile, "Oh the supplies are on the third floor but you have to carry it on the stairs". She said, looking pleased with herself. I thanked her then went to the stairs. "I've been needing my steps". I said to myself, starting to walk up the stairs, I then  started thinking what the FL's in the books would do. "My guess is that they will get probably go on the elevator and meet the ML, or they would be like me and travel up the stairs until the ML finds them". I thought, now almost to the third floor, I heard someone scream. As I looked up, something heavy landed on me tipping me off balance and we both fell down the stairs. "Ow, my back". I said, as I felt something crack in my back and leg. The thing on top of me turned out to be a girl and she quickly got off of me looking concerned. "Are you okay I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going and tripped on the stairs". She said, the girl then reached out one of her hand to me and with the other she grabbed her phone. "Maybe I should call a doctor". She said. I hurriedly grabbed the girl's hand and pulled myself up. "There's no need, I'm just fine your alright". I said. I quickly dusted myself off, not showing I was hurt and ran up to the third floor before she could catch up.

Third POV 

The girl looked in surprise as she saw the person who broke her fall, run at superhuman speed up the stairs and disappear. "Star". A woman said. Star stopped thinking about the person who saved her for a moment and ran up to the woman "Sorry I was using the bathroom and when I was going back I fell". Star said, the woman nodded "that's okay are you hurt". She said. "I'm fine Rose, but someone broke my fall and I wanted to repay them". Star said. The woman named Rose just nodded her head again and walked back to her desk. "(I'll tell Thorn at the office, maybe he'll do something).  Star thought. Star praised herself for coming up with the idea, then went back to work.

First POV

When I got to the supply room, I collapse on the floor. "How heavy is that girl that she can break my back and leg bone". I said as I slowly rubbed my back then my leg. I then tried to heal my bones, when a warning appeared saying that 'my power to heal has been reduced to being able to heal one bone every month'. (" I'll just heal my back".) I thought. Knowing I will have a crippled leg of I didn't heal it in one hour. "But that's not something to be sad about, it's better to have crippled leg than a broken back". I said to myself for support. After healing my back, I spotted the supplies I was going to look for.  I grabbed them then walked out into the hallway.
