Chapter 4: Let’s become friends

Now in the hallway, I decided to look around for something to clean, pushing the cart with supplies along behind me. As I was walking, I almost fell because of my leg. "Bad leg, what did I do to you". I said to my leg, picking myself up, I continued at a slower pace to decrease the number of times I would fall. I looked to the ground while I was walking and spotted my first job, a dirty floor. Grabbing a broom, I started sweeping. 5 minutes later, I heard someone coming and stopped sweeping to let them though "That's the most horrible job I ever saw". A woman with a red dress said. behind her I saw the girl that fell on me looking surprised that I was here. I pulled my hoodie to cover most of my face. "I know it's not the best ma'am but I'll do better". I said. The woman nodded her head in approval, "Now that I think about it, it's not bad, I just happened to need someone to clean up the office and your the perfect candidate". She said. I tried my best not to perk up my ears or wag my tail in excitement. "I'll do it where is it". I said. The woman made a face that said 'are you crazy'. "Okay, I have a map right here I'll circle where your supposed to go. Oh I forgot to tell you my name, it's Ivy". The woman said, As she handed me a map. ("Wow she's quick to tell names".) I thought. I grabbed the map and thanked her. As I was looking at the map, the girl behind Ivy spoke up, "I knew it your hurt". The girl said. I laughed "You must be mistaken me for someone else". I said, I tried to look as calm as I can. The girl walked out from behind Ivy, "Don't try and fake it, I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry and take you to a hospital". The girl said. Ivy looked at me again, "you mean this is the one that saved you Star". Ivy said, the girl named Star nodded, walking towards me she grabbed my hand. "You need to see a doctor". Star said, I shook my head, "really I'm fine, the reason I don't go to a hospital is because of a fear I have". I said. Star looked at me with concern in her eyes. "That's fine I'll bring you to a friend I know, he can patch you up". Star said, she then looked at Ivy for approval. "Fine you can go, you were about to finish up anyway". Ivy said, giving Star some documents. "just make sure you finish this for tomorrow". Ivy said, she then walked away. Star turned back to me. "Are you ready". Star said, "I am, just can you let go of my hand". I said, trying not to make her feel embarrassed. Star quickly let go of my hand, "sorry your hand just felt cold, do you have a car". She said. I shook my head, "I came here in foot". I said "you poor child". Star said patting my head. I tried to jump back but landed on my bad leg and fell down,  "Are you feeling well". Star said. Suddenly I remembered something I was supposed to bully the FL. "(How could I forget the FL's name is Star.)" I thought, realizing my mistake, I quickly got up, pushed Star to the ground and ran away to out outside.
