Rowan found himself floating before a massive source of light that completely erased the darkness from this strange place he was now in.
Aside from the light and himself, he couldn't see anything else in this place, but instead of panicking, he felt a sense of longing and warmth from the light.
"What is this place?" Rowan mumbled to himself. Even if he wasn't panicking now, would he be able to leave later? Staying in this place with only light and nothing else was a bit sobering.
"I know who you are and your intentions. Whether you can resonate with the Halo is up to you. Humans cannot withstand the Divinity within the Halo. If you continue, you will not be as you once were."
"Are you God?" Rowan saw the light blaze brighter than even an infinite amount of supernovae before settling back down, and a Being stood before him, one so beyond perfect he felt that even perfection was an insult to It.
Silky white hair and eyes that seemed to reflect everything within Creation. A face that could not be described asides from being too divine to behold.
"Mm. Your world is indeed in line to be judged. What Iofiel said is true. If you become Ophanim, you will be able to save your world. Will you do so?" God smiled faintly at Rowan who stared back with worry.
"Not everyone can be saved." God's smile widened in response. He knew that naturally as well, He knew everything, but it made Him smile when Rowan said so.
"That is so. Since I can see you won't say no, let us begin. Hayliel fell in a battle to save your world and countless others from the Darkness. First Sphere Heavenly Beings do not usually die so it was a massive blow to Heaven."
"You have her Halo. You wish to save your world. Will you become Hayliel, The First Throne of Heaven?" God looked into Rowan's eyes, and Rowan knew He was gazing at his soul.
"Um. Will I become a girl?" God looked at Rowan's obvious unease and smiled while shaking His head. He could do so, but He saw that Rowan did not want it, so He said no.
"I'll accept then." Rowan saw God's smile grow bigger slightly but before he could ask what was wrong, light flooded his being, and his soul which was human before, mortal before, lit up as the light expanded and refined his soul.
In the depths of his soul, Rowan felt runes being carved into his soul, and even without having any prior knowledge of them, he knew what they meant. Hayliel.
His soul broke through so many shackles he lost count. If before, where he was unable to see it, he could now do so, and what he saw was pure holy light residing within him.
"Angels, unless Extinguished do not die. After being defeated, they will return to Heaven. You can not die however if you wish to save Earth. Earth's universe has a barrier to keep Higher Dimensional Entities out. If you are defeated on Earth, you will not be able to return until the Advent."
Rowan could guess that the Advent would be the day angels descended to judge humanity. His form, after sublimation and recreation was now divine and his aura clean and pure.
"On Earth, judge the bad. Bless the good. As a Third Sphere Angel, you can be injured by humans. Second Sphere Angels are all but immune to all mortal means. And First Sphere Angels are invulnerable to everything except a few things."

"I will give to you Hayliel's sword. Wield it well." A sword seemingly forged from light and pure gold materialized in his hands. Rowan felt something burst from his back behind him.
"Your wings can carry you between different Mortal Planes and both Realms. You won't be able to leave Earth since you won't be able to return. As an angel, you can only exert five percent of your true power in a Mortal Plane less you are kicked out by the Plane's Law."
"Even then, you will be far above humans in every aspect. Hayliel, I look forward to seeing your progress. Your human body is lost, but your family is kind, they won't make it difficult for you."
"Goodbye Hayliel." God vanished amidst a light flash and Rowan opened his eyes on Earth. He immediately felt slightly disgusted when he was no longer encased in divine power.
"How long was I asleep?" Rowan spoke, but his voice was like heavenly music. It was light and airy with tones and notes humans could not possibly touch upon.
He stood up, and walked to the small mirror on the wall and nearly froze in shock. In the mirror, reflect back at him was a beauty, though not quite at the level of God, far surpassed any human he had seen before.
Silky white hair, golden eyes with cross shaped pupils. Fair skin and supple pink lips framed by a soft and delicate face. Their neck was slender and graceful while their body looked frail, but Rowan knew he had enough strength to easily throw a car.
Weirdly enough, he didn't have distinct female curves even if his face was like this. He wore a robe made of something softer than silk, but more durable than titanium and on his back was a pair of soft feathered wings, each probably more than ten feet in length but were currently folded on his back.
Lifting it, he saw smooth white skin and beautifully shaped legs. Where he had a little brother before now lied nothing. Neither was there female parts, it was simply nothing so he dropped the hem of the robe.
"I guess Angels don't have genders." Rowan looked closer at his pupils and realized the crosses within them were slowly rotating. His ears were pointed like a mythical elf's and they twitched as he heard something.
The door opened and Rosie entered the room, not realizing Rowan was up until she had closed the door behind her. When she saw Rowan, her body stiffened and Rowan was worried she would scream because he was too different now.
"W-who are you?" Rosie looked at the white haired being wearing a robe with wings on their back and froze up. She had faith in God, but seeing an angel out of the blue like this was shocking.
"It's me Rosie." Rowan turned to Rosie and stared at her. Unbidden, his eyes shifted and he could see Rosie's soul, a ball of light tones of gold and whites. He instinctively knew that her soul was relatively pure and good.
"Rowan?" Rosie's eyes widened as she stared at the angel who smiled awkwardly in response. It wasn't everyday your brother gets turned into something straight out of a fantasy novel.
"Yup. Apparently I'm an angel now." Rowan nodded and Rosie moved, rushing across the room and jumping into his arms. Unlike before where Rowan was muscular and firm, he was now more petite and softer and even his smell was different, lighter and far more fragrant, but Rosie didn't dislike this Rowan either.
