Something about the smell seems not quite right. You enter the room, sniffing.

As you take your next step, the floor suddenly gives way beneath your foot. It’s not made of wood, it’s made of paper painted to look like wood!

You plummet into the darkness, screaming until you hit the bottom with a sickening thud. You land on your side, and the breath is knocked from your lungs. Groaning in pain, you try to get up, only to find that your leg is impaled on a sharp metal spike. Blood gushes from the wound, coating the ground around you in a crimson pool. You cry out for help, but no one comes. The only sound is the sound of your own ragged breathing and the soft drip of blood as it falls from your leg and onto the ground.

You try to pull yourself free, but the spike is lodged too deep. With every movement, more blood flows from your wound, and you start to feel lightheaded. You know you're going to die if you don't get help soon. You cry out again, but there's still no answer. You're all alone in the dark, with no one to hear your cries for help. You close your eyes and wait for the end, knowing that there's nothing you can do to save yourself.

You are now dead.
