Becca scampered into the room next to Leo's, leaning on the door right after she slammed it shut behind her.

She inhaled a gush of air into her lungs and stared at the room.

White walls enclosed the space, decorated elegantly with white and golden furniture. A bookshelf on one of the four corners of the room and a magnificent chandelier hung on the ceiling, illuminating the room even more.

Becca felt her feet heavy as she dragged herself towards the bed, stopping right in front of it. Spotless sheets matching the color of the walls around her laid neatly on the bed with a soft cozy blanket drooped on it as well. White pillows leaning on the headboard, looking inviting but not to Becca. All she did was stare at it.

Slowly, she lowered herself on the bed— it was cold but she didn't bother covering her body with the blanket. It wouldn't help anyway. Nothing in the room could help.

Becca laid on her back, facing the ceiling. The loneliness of the cold bed did nothing but torment her and the walls of silence around the room echoed her thoughts, making them louder with one sounding the loudest.

Leo

Becca wrapped her arms around herself, trying to give herself a bit of comfort in the seemingly lifeless room she was in. It didn't work, she still felt cold. Alone.

She turned to lay on her side, squeezing her eyes shut and as though to torture her even more, a familiar scent surged into her nostrils. Leo's scent from his shirt.

Becca looked down at her body, his shirt was still the only thing she had on.

She shut her eyes again, relaxing her nerves so she would drift off to sleep but couldn't no matter how hard she tried. Nothing in the room soothed her the way Leo did, even hugging herself didn't bring her much comfort.

Grumbling as she tossed and turned on the bed, Becca opened her eyes again. She didn't know if it was due to the fact she just woke up from being unconscious or not, but whatever the cause might be, it made her realize how addicted she had gotten to Leo's cuddles. To him showering her with kisses while she slept and the warm fuzzy feeling she got in his arms.

She eyed the door, dancing in her mind was the idea of leaving this room and quietly slipping into bed with him until dawn before she slipped back out. It could be her little heist. It could also be impossible to pull off, at least without him finding out.

She thrust that idea to the side and sighed, telling herself that this was the right thing to do. Necessary. It was also necessary. She needed him to make up his mind, to hurt him just like his lack of trust hurt her. It was truly a shame that despite her efforts, she ended up hurting herself even more.

Fuck!

Becca replayed the memories of what happened between her and Leo a while ago, trying to get herself all riled up and angry so she wouldn't miss him so much but her heart kept skipping beats whenever she recalled the feeling of his arms around her.

She dragged her eyes away from the door and stared at the ceiling again, sighing. She missed him so much.

The sun rose and Becca barely slept a wink but wasn't tired because she had already gotten enough rest in the afternoon. All thanks to Leo knocking her out.

Huffing at the thought, Becca sluggishly got out of bed and exited the room, only to end up staring at the door to the master's bedroom, a little hesitant to go in.

Becca's eyes were still glued to the door as if trying to open it with the sheer will of her thoughts that she didn't even notice the maid approaching her.

" Boss is in the pool area, swimming." The maid who approached her said, answering Becca's unspoken question.

Becca turned to the maid, her brows wrinkled in confusion. " He can't be swimming, he's injured," Becca said, dashing downstairs to the pool. Completely forgetting that she was still dressed in nothing but Leo's shirt that barely touched her knees.

She got to the indoor pool and snarled when she saw Leo swimming like a fish in the water, confirming what the maid said to be true.

" Leo!" She yelled, taking furious steps towards him and he turned to look at her, his eyes almost bulging out on seeing what she was wearing. His shirt and Leo was sure she was still bare underneath.

Leo opened his mouth to speak but quickly shut it when he saw the dagger looks she was giving. He looked around him, trying to figure out why or what got her so pissed off but couldn't think of anything.

He looked at her again, she was still fuming, and he couldn't help raking her from head to toe. Despite seething with rage, she still managed to look elegant and flawless. Even his shirt looked better on her than it did on him and he was sure he didn't look pretty when he was angry. He looked like a beast.

Leo gulped and an almost seductive smile made its way to his lips.

" Good morning, my love." He greeted and Becca scowled. " My night without you was terrible, hope you slept well."

" You are injured. Why are you in the pool?" Becca interrogated and Leo's smile widened to a grin. A seductive one. A mischievous one.

" Why? I thought you were mad at me so why do you look so worried?"

Becca huffed on hearing Leo's question, even she didn't know the answer.

She stood at the edge of the pool, the frown on her face still unscathed.

" You should have waited for the wound to heal first before swimming. What were you thinking?" Becca scolded, folding her arms over her chest and if it was possible for Leo to grin any wider, he would.

Becca acting all angry about him swimming with an injury was just her being worried about him. Even when they hadn't fully patched things up yet, she still cared so much about him. And the more her frown deepened, the more his heart swelled.

He swam towards her and stopped, grinning up at her mischievously.

" Help me out then." He stretched out his arm to her and Becca glared at his hand, luckily with harmless kitten glares before taking hold of it.

She might have still been raging from last night but all she wanted now was for him to get out of the pool so his wound would heal faster.

Tightening her grip on his hand, she pulled, not fully taking into account that the man she was pulling was twice her size and wasn't even trying to get out. He just stood there, planting his feet harder to the bottom of the pool, and with one swift tug, he hauled her into the pool.

" Leo!" She yelled as she fell into the pool, getting drenched and landed a smack on his chest, a punishment for his wrongdoings.

He swam closer to her, grinning as he wrapped his arms around her while she glared.

" You look so sexy when you are wet." Came Leo's first shameless comment of the day and Becca glared harder, trying to swim out of his hold.

" Hey, let go." Becca placed her hands on his wet chest, pushing him to create some space between them. He was getting way too close for comfort, seducing her so early in the morning.

Hmph!

" I regret letting you sleep in the other room last night. I thought that giving you some space would help our situation but it did nothing. Sleeping without you beside me felt horrible." He whispered against her lips, swallowing as his gaze fell on her chest. She was wet and the shirt she wore stuck to her body, emphasizing that she was naked underneath.

" It was your fault the night was horrible." Becca snapped and Leo grinned wider.

" I never denied it. I was the one at fault and I apologized for it but you can't say that you didn't miss having me in bed with you."

" I didn't." Becca lied and dropped her gaze to stare at the water, remembering how awful last night felt with her in bed alone. It was the first time she had slept without Leo ever since they got back together.

" You sure?" Leo asked, already knowing she lying. Her face said it all.

" Yes, I didn't miss you one bit."

Another lie. Becca couldn't possibly tell him about how dreadful her night was without him in bed, especially when she was still supposed to be angry at him.

Leo lowered his head to her neck, inhaling her scent, and chuckled when he felt her tremble.

" You always smell so delightful." Leo complimented with a smile. Delicious was his original word choice but he eventually stuck with delightful.

Becca shuddered as he trailed kisses down, trying to stay angry. To stay strong and fight his seduction but that ship sailed as soon as he started grinning at her.

Her mind went blank, the heat of his kisses torching every thought in her.

She paddled backward and Leo went along with her, moving until her body was at the edge of the pool where he resumed messing up with her brain. Eliciting a moan from her.

" Leo..." Becca moaned, no longer governed by her senses. She raised her hands and touched his shoulders with the sole purpose of pushing him away from her but found herself wrapping her arms around his neck instead, pulling him closer.

What was Becca doing? Even she didn't know. All she knew was it felt right. It felt nice, he made her feel nice.

One night without him and she already missed him like crazy.
