As it was said before, Earth practically exploded a few days later.
By that time, the spaceship had long since taken flight and left its home planet, Earth.
Millions of people were not able to get on a ship and in the end, they chose to die in their hometowns or countries.
The spaceship from all over the world slowly joined with a very big structure in space.
With time, all the information was revealed. The big structure was something for future generations. Although there were a total of 1,000,000 people on the whole structure, the ship was too big for only 1 million.
It was planned that the human race would continuously increase their population and finally find another planet like earth to settle on.
.
.
163 years later,
Life went on the spaceship as normal. The population of humans had reached 4,000,000.
The spaceship was named ‘Teresa’. Some people had simply lived their whole life on Teresa and died, without even seeing Earth. All they knew about it was from some photos and the mouths of people older than them.
Within the previous 163 years, the situation got a lot worse. The spaceship was predicted to be able to last only 4-5 more years before a major breakdown.
Everyone was desperate to find a new planet which would have livable conditions.
On the main deck.
An old man around 60 years old stood looking out of the roof to the floor window in front of him.
The window was very big and a lot of people stood in front of him. Some typed something on the computers while some simply looked at it and wrote something on a piece of paper.
There was pin-drop silence in the massive room.
Suddenly, one person got off his chair, pushed it back, looked in the old man’s direction and shouted,” We found a place captain.”
He was responsible for finding a new place that would be able to inhabit Humans. The chair he sat on was also known as the ‘Silent Chair’. There would be announcements from other people from time to time but, an announcement from that chair was for the first time in 163 years.
The captain, the old man, Blake, indicated to the man who was on the silent chair to come up.
“What did you find?” Blake asked as he looked at the man in front of him.
The man showed his tablet to Blake and started speaking. His voice was loud enough for everyone in the quiet room to hear it.
“This is a planet we have found. It has no name in our records so it is temporarily named JB-1464. It has water, an atmosphere, oxygen, and most importantly, it has normal temperatures. After we make a scan for its size, we can land on it.” The man said.
Everyone heard it and happy smiles appeared on their faces.
“We don’t know its size yet. What about life?” Blake asked.
“I did a basic scan but, it turns out that JB-1464 is very big compared to Earth. We would need some more time. As for any life, our function does not work due to the large area to scan.” The man said.
Blake gestured for the man to go back.
The man went back and sat back on his seat as all the other people also started doing work regarding the new place.
Everyone wanted to leave the spaceship and walk on some land as quickly as they could.
Slowly, another year passed.
JB-1464 was also given a name. Acheron.
Even after scanning for a year, the humans were not able to find any life on Acheron.
They did not even know what its size was. In the end, they concluded that it was a rather very big continent and was around 1,000 times bigger than earth.
“We enter the atmosphere and land today,” Blake said. With him stood some other high-ranking decision makers.
“Alright, Let’s do it.” A female officer said.
“Yes, all the best, Captain Blake.” Another man said.
Blake nodded and then walked back to the main deck. He once again stood in front of the window and looked out of it.
“It is mystical,” Blake said as he looked at Acheron and then put on a mic.
“Hello. This is Captain Blake speaking. Is everything ready for the descent?” Blake asked.
In his earpiece, he could hear people saying yes.
He was able to speak to everyone at once while all the department heads were connected to him by personal communication devices.
“Alright, we make the drop in t-30 seconds,” Blake said.
He looked at his watch for some time and started speaking,”t-5,4,3,2,1, t-0. Drop now.” Blake shouted.

The massive spaceship slowly started moving towards Acheron.
“Keep on checking all the mechanisms. We will be entering the atmosphere in 4 hours.” Blake said and then removed the mic but kept the earpiece on.
Things went smoothly for the next four hours.
Now, Blake once again wore the mic and said,” We are entering the atmosphere.”
As he spoke, he heard a voice on his earpiece.
“Captain, the main engine went offline as soon as we entered the atmosphere.”
“It's alright, although it would be rough, use the auxiliary engines,” Blake said. He had expected something like this. Though he was a little shocked, he kept his cool.
The ship quickly regained its balance before anyone could notice and started descending once again.
In a few minutes, when the ship was only 100 kilometres above the ground, Blake heard something that shocked him.
“C-Captain, the auxiliary engines went offline. We have no more power. We may crash now.”
Blake held his forehead and started thinking way outs of this situation.
The ship slowly lost its balance and started doing a free fall.
The only thing he could think of in such a short time was,” Separate all the parts of the spaceship-like it was 163 years ago. That way, at least some people would be able to survive.” Blake said and then looked at the faces of people below him.
Although they had sadness on their face, they started working to separate all the different parts.
Blake continuously made announcements in the whole spaceship for people to get inside their room and lock it.
Within 2 minutes, Large parts of the spaceship started to get detached and fall in different directions.
When there were only around 10 kilometres left, the last part detached and only the big structure was left.
“Farewell, my people,” Blake said and removed the mic and earpiece.
The big structure fell to the ground and exploded, not leaving anything behind.
Along the main part of the ship, many detached ones also exploded.
On that tragic day, the human race lost over 3,000,000 people and a lot of good people.
Slowly, all the humans gathered in one place and made a kingdom.
In the new world, Acheron, the remaining 1,000,000 people used to hunt and farm to survive.
Since they did not have to start from the very beginning like they had to when they started on the earth, they developed faster on this planet.
They observed that things were different on this planet. The animals were very different from what they had always seen in pictures of the earth but they did not pay much mind to it.
.
.
Slowly, another 200 years passed in peace.
The humans were a lot more developed but, this time they did not make a lot of those nuclear weapons. They only had 2 with them, in case they encountered something unpredictable.
And, they did encounter it.
On a pleasant day, a flying creature attacked the human kingdom.
It was a dragon. A black dragon.
The humans used both of their nuclear bombs but were not able to even injure the Dragon with a major wound.
The dragon had ended up killing 99% of the humans, leaving behind only 1353 of them.
The black dragon had planned to kill the remaining ones too but he was killed by another red dragon in the end.
It was at that time did the humans find out that the world they now lived in was a world of Sword and Magic.
Originally, the red dragon had planned to leave after killing the evil, black dragon but, looking at the weak humans, he had some pity for them and decided to teach them magic.
Ever since then, the humans started learning magic and treated the red dragon as one of the gods.

A/N: I know that the prologue got a little abrupt in the end but, I could not drag it out for too long.
