As I muttered: "Switch." 

The staff changed instantly.

The weapon split in to 3 section.

Turning the Bo staff from white to black.

"My turn." As I start spinning the weapon rigorously.

The Chief got startled from the Spinning. 

Using this chance I closed the gap.

Swinging the weapon while gritting my teeth.

[Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Cross Strike]

The staff pounded the cheek of the Chief's face with full force, followed by a impact of the staff from above. 

[Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Downward Smash]

This managed to slow the Chief for a while, even though he couldn't feel pain.

He tries to catch his breathe, but I don't give him the opportunity. 

I stepped in to throw another technique.

[Tri-Sector Staff Skill: Rotation Whip]

By spinning the Staff in a certain speed, unleashing that build up speed on a target. Will cause a whipping motion causing major damage.

This impact landed on the Chief's right arm, dropping his Butcher knifes.

The Chief furious that he couldn't land a blow on me, he starts roaring.

[Berserker's Roar]

Taunts target.

Effect: Failed on you.

"Thanks, Ryong." Thanking Ryong for the status negate. I proceed to rush to my opponent.

As he tries to punch with absolute strength, I stepped back to attack, landing with [Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Cross-Strike]. Aiming it at his wrist.

Looks like he was waiting for this chance, as he grabs one of the staff and yanks it towards him. As

I flew towards him, I muttered:

"Switch" again.

The weapon returns to being a Bo staff, confusing the Chief. Due to the weapon changing it's physical form, it was hard to direct his punch at me, causing it to miss entirely.

With this, I kept both his arms busy.

I stood Infront of him, letting go of my weapon for a brief moment, giving myself some space.

Thus I start my barrage of attacks.

[Trickster's Kick Combo 1]

Right Roundhouse Kick] ---> [Question Mark Kick] ---> [Spinning Hook Kick] ---> [Axe Kick]

Landing the Axe Kick caused him to drop my weapon, I grabbed it immediately and continued.

[Staff Technique: Multiplying Poke]

[Staff Technique: Down Strike]

[Staff Technique: Up Strike]

"Switch"

[Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Spinning Cross-Strike]

[Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Downward Smash]

[Side Kick]

All these attacks landed on him, with the side kick, kicking him off towards his throne room, flying on the hole, he created using me.

He grunts at me in annoyance as he suddenly 

Just then, I realised he picked something out

"Shit."

It was his Halbert.

He wasn't done, the attacks did land a number of damage on him. But since he could no longer feel pain. He was going to continue until either he kills me or his body gets destroyed.

Anticipating another throw of this Halbert at me, I kept my guard up. Preparing for anything he might throw at me.

However, he just slowly walked up.

Something was amiss. 

He was too quiet compared to before. His eye was clear white from rage just now. But now, you can see his iris. 

[Hoo. Interesting. He managed to use the Berserker's Rampage without losing his sanity.]

"Crap doesn't that mean, he's just stronger."

[Yes.]

Immediately he runs to me in an impossible speed and stabbed me with his Halbert.

Dodging the fatal strike by a hairline, I threw an upward strike using the 3-Staff. 

It missed him as he use an overhead swing of his axe on me. I shouted "Switch" just in time to block the weapon's impact.

As the axe collides with the staff, I suddenly remember my training.

When training with the staff, I realised a lot of advantage and disadvantage of this weapon.

The Bo Staff itself has a poor offense, but is good for using it as a defensive tool. It can be used to parry, block attacks, redirect the attacks and distancing yourself from your opponents.

The Tri-Sector Staff on the other hand has great offence but poor defense. The 3-Staff has the range, power and speed for attacking but when it comes to defence, it wouldn't be as efficient as the Built Staff.

But there wasn't a rule that I had to abide to using only one side of the weapon. I could switch to both side with no issue. Using the staff on when I'm lacking in: Defence and using the Tri-Sector Staff when I'm lacking in offense.

That was also probably how Kazue used that skill.

[Tri-Sector Staff Skill - Whipping Stab Combo]

Consist:

 [Tri-Sector Staff Skill - Rotation Whip] + [Staff Technique - Power Stab]

I had been wondering how she stabbed me in the end. But it turns out she changed the staff back into the Bo Staff.

With the impact on my Staff getting heavier. I planned my moves and started executing them.

I shift the blade of the Axe to the other direction, redirecting it.

Switching to 3-Staff, I spin and slam my weapon on his ribcage. As he tried gripped me using his hook, I changed it back to a Bo staff and slam the Halbert to the ground, using a [Staff Technique: Downward Smash]. 

With the Halbert stuck to the ground, I start spinning the Staff in a figure 8 direction and start launching hits after hits.

[Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Cross-Strike]

[Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Down Strike]

[Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Up Strike]

Following up with a [Staff Technique: Downward Smash] using the Bo staff form.

Boom-!!!

However it missed as the Chief dodge roll, and swung his Halbert as he was doing so.

I blocked with Side Block, and kick myself off to create a distance.

His entire body was covered with bruises and I think some of his bones are broken from the way he was barely able to hold his weapon, shaking from head to toe.

[Time to end this.]

"I agree."

I threw the Bo Staff like a javelin, landing it on his chest. 

As he couldn't react the staff, I jumped up, 

switching the Bo staff to 3-Staff mid-air, slamming it on his head with [Tri-Sector Staff Technique: Downward Smash].

Landing on the ground, I pivot my right foot and lands a kick on him, [Left Low Kick].

Followed by a [Right Body Poke] and switching back to Bo Staff, spinning the Staff on my neck, I slam the staff on his right ribcage using [Staff Technique: Cross-Strike].

Ending the battle with a [Right Cross] to the face 

He finally collapsed, with his face planted on the ground. He skin and fur returning for the colour red back to yellow. 

I sat down, catching a breathe. Using my Bo Staff as support.

The other BugBears appear, thinking that they were going to fight me, I picked it up and point it at them.

"We....surrender.. Please don't hurt us."

As he said that, I shooed them away and lay down to have a quick rest.

With that I ended my training and completed my mission.
