Chapter 23: The Imoogi – Part 1

Looks like the cold temperatures woke the Snake up.

Thunder Dude and his companion scattered.

Lee Jeong Hun started jumping up the surrounding pillars.

The stage was set right at the middle of a temple with a major lake in the middle of it.

"Mister, we need to move. We can't afford to be caught up in their attack. They are monsters." Sasaki yelled.

She then points at them one by one and telling me their info.

"The one with the lighting is Alexander Demetriou. He's the Champion of Zeus. He have always been strong since, especially with Zeus's blessing, He got even stronger and unpredictable with his attacks."

"Those two are Rhea and Evander, those two are on team Olympus as well. With Rhea being the Champion of Posiedon and Evander being the Champion of Artemis. With the trio there, they act act as one of the power house in team Olympus."

"There are others in team Olympus with them being a minor God's champions but these 3 are one of the big major ones."

"And that there is Lee Jeong Hun. Not much is known but he's been going through all the dungeon alone. He is not affiliated with any God's and is acting alone. "

As Sasaki dragged me to the back to explained more.

Kazue arrived.

One look at my mask, she bolt to me with a new weapon. A Naginata, as she attempts to Cleave me in half. 

I kicked the blade of the Naginata to the other side and returned with a [Side Kick].

She blocks with her arms and stepped back.

Sasaki stared at us, confused asking: "Aren't you from the same team."

Kazue replies: "No. He even stole the sacred weapon bestowed to me by Ame-no-Uzume-sama."

Sasaki looking even more confuse and stare at my direction. I looked at her and gave her a thumbs up.

In that instance one of her Mobryu the fox, is passed to her one big giant jewel looking ball.

It states: He can be trusted. 

She then returns with a thumbs up and got back preparing to facing whatever in the lake.

As the rumbling got even rougher. Team Olympus was still fighting against Lee Jeong Hu, while Kazue fighting me.

[Naginata Stance: Shizantae]

She calmly walks towards me. With thenbpade facing on top, she got about 1.5 meters from.me changing her stance.

[Shizantae] ---> [Hasso-no-Kamae]

"Mister, watch out!"

Before I could react in time, my wrist were already cut.

 

[Naginata: Mochikae Sune Uchi]

She quickly changed her stun and swings it at me again, this time aiming for my neck.

[*Combo-Maker equipped*]

"There's my weapon, come back to me." As she calls out to the staff using chants and a talisman.

It doesn't respond to her talisman.

With the rumbling getting heavier and the fight between team Olympus and Lee Jeong Hun getting heavier as well, the debris starts falling and dropping.

Redirecting one of the fallen pieces of the rock and flinging it to Kazue.

She cuts it in half as she anticipates me but.

Kazue: "He's gone?!"

"Nope, in here."

 

She caught me, sliding below but it was too late.

I went took my staff and___

[Poke Thrust]

It hit her in her stomach. She tries to slash me but staff was in the way.

She flew back but her wolf caught her.

While she recovers, to go for another round.

The rumbling stops. Everyone stopped on their feet, waiting for something to appear.

Boom-!!

Something bursts out from the water, so huge that it's shadows covered our entire being.

It was the Imoogi.

[Imoogi aka Imugi. They are giant serpents that needs to survive a thousand years to become a full fledge Dragon. 

Another account is if it caught a Yeouiju which had fallen from heaven, then it will become a true dragon.

However, whether the Imoogi ascends as a dragon or falls into darkness depended on its surrounding. 

With a surrounding that evoked violence, bloodshed or a negative emotion or energy. The Imoogi will fall into darkness, turning it into a violent beast.]

As the serpents got up from it's nap.

Lee Jeong Hun spared no time and using his sword started hacking it's skin.

"Do not let him get a headstart!" Alexander yelled, rushing in to the water.

He then hold two of his palm together, leaving a small gap and starts charging electricity from there.

[It's magic huh.]

His teammates Rhea starts chanting a spell.

[Absolute Defence] + [Water Shield]

A wall of water was formed around Rhea and Alexander covering them from the attacks of the imoogi.

However Evander was nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly, a blinding light appeared as it pierced on the scale of imoogi.

[Looks like it's a Strong Magic Bow.]

Evander aimed and shoot again.

[Vital Shot] + [Eye of the Hunter]

Aimed at target to find the weak points and lay a critical shot.

Status Effect: Critical Damge, Bleeding

Skill Cooldown: 30 minutes

This time, the arrow shot at the eye.

The Immogi Shrieks starts rampaging. It's tail swinging wildly hitting everything in it's way.

I jumped up using one of the pillar as support, just for it to get destroyed. 

I managed to land on the other side of the temple, with no injury as I ran around seeing what I can do to help.

Lee Jeong Hun starts running from it's tail and continue hacking it. He then casted a flame magic on the Serpent.

"Burn everything, Ifrit's wraith."

[Ifrit's Wraith]

AOE Damage.

Summoned Djinn and evokes his wraith on humanity. 

Burning everything on sight, leaving only ashes behind. The wicked flame shall be the only thing burning.

Status Effect: Burn

Duration: As long as the mana can supply.

"What? That fire! How did you___." Rhea yells before she got interrupted by flames surrounding the entire field. This causes her to lose focus and drops her water shield.

However just In time, as Alexander finished charging up, he jumps and launch the great big sphere filled with electricity inside.

[Thunder Bomb]

An AOE Attack.

Charges immensely with no interruption for 5 minutes. 

Creates a humongous sphere of lighting that deals very high damages.

No target shall escape damage.

When the attack lands, target will be damaged internally and externally. 

Duration: 5 minutes 

Skill Cooldown: 6 hours.

The attack lands on the Immogi as well as the lake. 

This caused everything that was near the water to be electrocuted and shocked.

Some of Kazue's companion passed out from the shock.

I grabbed both Kazue and Sasaki by the waist when it happened, and ended up standing on a pillar.

Sasaki's face turns red, while she use her hand to cover her face, while Kazue punches me in the face, shouting "I didn't ask for you to save me."

This is starting to get really annoying as I received a text from Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto saying:
