The Fox was fast and precise in her attacks. Every blow she hits got faster and it was getting harder to dodge them by the second. I slashed my sword to keep a distance between us but she was able to float around avoiding it with ease. Using the Fire Spirit Ifrit, a huge fireball was summoned and flung towards the fox while I retreat a wide distance.

"Status," I muttered quietly, waiting for the user interface to show up.

Currently, due to my opponent having an advantage in terms of Mind attacks, I had to use the temporary Stats points on both endurance and speed.

The Tamamo-no-Mae might look weak now. However, that's completely wrong. The Fox had lived a long age, causing her spirit to grow stronger and stronger even capable of killing people when she was sealed. She had already achieved Magic Deity status, causing her to have complete mastery of magic. However, as of now, she has not completely regained her strength. The Tamamo-no-Mae would need all 9 tails to unleash her full power and the only way she can do it is through absorbing life force.

Or so I thought.

Within 2 seconds of me inserting my status point into my Stats, she was already gone. 

Grabbing my sword, I readied myself in the Heavenly Demonic Style's Footwork and braced myself for any attacks.

With my Battle Sense being a passive skill, something suddenly strikes from above piercing through the Osaka Castle floors and creating a hole in the ground. Multiple holes were created as I used my sword to deflect all the attacks coming from that direction. 

"Ehmhmmmm, come on show me more!" 

The sound was spoken in a very eerie yet relaxed tone of an adult lady.

I strike my weapon downwards, freezing the ground hoping to trap her. However she laughed maniacally as in a single blink, she manifested her physical appearance again.

"Oh oh, too close." 

"Hmmmm, you don't look Chinese or Japanese... Could it be...Gojoseon?"

I ignored what the fox said and launched another round of [Phantom Cleave] hoping it would cut her. But of course, she deflected it with something as if like shooing a fly away.

The reason why I could understand her was that in my previous life, I have managed to learn the majority of languages on earth. Japanese was not especially hard compared to some other languages.

The Fox sat down on one of the pillars with her legs crossed, looking at my body up and down. Her pupils were yellow as she noticed my weapon.

"A Jian? No...It's a Geom Sword." she said referring to my sword.

My sword was an ancient Korean sword that was found along with the Heavenly Demonic Manual. The sword was a double edge sword clad in black colour. It looked very similar to an ancient Chinese sword, the Jian. Looks like the previous owner used a very special material for this sword. It looked similar to those Swords found in the Murim Webcomic.

The Sword Stats are as stated:

The weapon was created with the intention of one befitting the title Heavenly Demon. The true power of the sword will only be revealed when one has mastered the Heavenly Demonic Arts or when the weapon has accepted the current owner.

This would have been one of the strongest weapons in this world, however even though I was not able to master it yet. The good news for me was that the weapon was already plenty strong to decimate everything in its path.

The Fox stood up and snaps her finger. One by one, blue flames the size of a basketball starts appearing, forming a big circle around her.

"Entertain me please." She said while smiling as the Blue flames starts spinning in a circle, going faster and faster. 

The Fox then, pointed her finger at me, causing the flames all one by one to shoot out aiming at me.

Immediately, instead of trying to deflect or block the flame, I chose to dodge instead. Zigzagging across the floor as everything the flames touch burns and turn to ashes. 

Her body instead was vulnerable. I need to get rid of her in one shot.

Without hesitation, I closed the gap between us using [Heavenly Step] and with my sword raised and executed the move concurrently.

[Heavenly Destruction Sword: Devastating Piercing Strike]

Single Target Skill

Distance: Close-range

A sword skill made by the Heavenly Demon. He uses this skill when he has his sword to destroy his opponent.

Using [Heavenly Step], the user pulls his striking hand back, while twisting the sword, drawing an enormous amount of Qi in the sword. Once ready, launch a powerful piercing thrust forward while twisting the striking hand again. 

Requirement: Heavenly Demonic Mastery, [Heavenly Step]

Combo: 1

The sword filled with a dangerous amount of Qi explodes forward, devastating everything in front of the sword's path in a spiral-patterned thrust. Anything that was in the way was forced to spin and crushed into nothing. 

"!!!" 

Tamamo-no-Mae notices the danger of that attack and she was too late, trying to avoid it last minute. Though a part of the spiral thrust grazed her, it entirely rips all flesh in that area, leaving a clean hole through the body.

The attack causes an entire wall of the castle blown apart and destroyed.

"You mongrel..." The Fox said while checking the condition of her body. The hole in her body was the size of about 20 per cent of her body. Blood was pouring out from the hole as the fox curled up and cover herself.

"You dare...YOU DARE DAMAGE MY BEAUTIFUL BODY ??!!!!" 

The beast screams, roughly thrashing about with her arms. The sheer force of her swinging her arms destroyed another hall of the exhibition.

From the debris caused by the Fox, a noise could be heard. A cry could be heard from the damaged exhibition.

Quickly I turned around but it was too late. The Fox beat me to that sound. She grabs a girl around the age of 6 crying by her collar and looked at me.

"Just the thing I need here hmmm." The Fox said while looking at the child and looking back at me.

"Leave her now," I warned as I stomped my feet forward, ready to move in.

"How about....No." Just as she said those sentences, from her back, appeared a tail out. In lightning speed, the tail went straight for the child's heart, piercing it out of her lifeless cold body.

Blinded by rage, I ran full speed ahead at her, charging her with my sword for her sick actions. As I rushed through her, my sword stabbed through her as if there was no resistance. 

"Huh?" I stared, as Tamamo-no-Mae kneel, and started bleeding. She grabbed me by the head and pull me towards her so I can listen to her closely.

"Gotcha."

The next thing I knew, I was back in the same scene where she grabbed the child by the collar and threatened me with it.

Abe Kazue and Sasaki Kaguya made their appearance up, the moment part of the castle exploded and disappeared. They figured if anyone was to cause a scene like this, it would be the loner awakener, Lee Jeong-Hun.

As they made their way up, all that was standing in the silhouette was a figure. The fabled strongest awakener was standing in the middle. He had a symbol placed on his forehead as the girl sat behind caressing the man's forehead. 

"Little Miss Abe. It's your turn now," she said, smiling wickedly facing Kazue.

From the top of the castle, a random portal emerges out of nowhere, dropping someone in...
