Chapter 62: One Sided Confrontation

The demon and dragon leaders knew that Bruce would be able to overwhelm them. When they inspected his changes, they found his aura to be extremely profound. Seeing that their plans were no longer feasible, the two began to make a run to their respective exits.

"Whoa there, didn't I tell you that I am giving out a free lesson?" Bruce teleported right in front of the dragon leader and smashed his head down to the ground.

"ARGHHH" The dragon leader screamed. He couldn't believe that a human could overpower him at the same cultivation level. He threw his claws at Bruce to only find them not even able to penetrate Bruce's body.

Bruce ignored the dragon's leader screaming and dragged his body to the location of the demon leader.

"It's very rude to leave without saying goodbye" Bruce smiled coldly before landing a chop onto the demon leader's head. The demon immediately got struck to the ground as he felt intense pain throughout his body.

"You can't kill me… My name is Ao Chen. My ancestor will hunt you down" For the first time in his life, the dragon leader felt genuine fear. The only thing he could do to prevent Bruce from killing him is to bring up his background.

"Why should I be afraid of your ancestor? If he wants to come to kill me, bring it on. I'll kill him myself" Bruce replied with a crazed look in his eyes.

"My ancestor is a Worldly Supreme expert… You will never be able to kill him" Ao Chen looked at Bruce in shock after he claimed to kill his ancestor. No one had dared to insult the mighty ruler of the dragons over millions of years.

"Is Worldly Supreme something so great?" Bruce asked while pummeling the dragon body of Ao Chen to his content.

"STOP!" Ao Chen started to scream as Bruce's fist reached deep inside his body. He started to puke a massive amount of blood. Seeing that Bruce never intended to let him go, he consumed all of his blood essences.

Ao Chen's body began to harden tremendously. Bruce could no longer break through his tough skin with just his fist.

"Demon, hurry up and use everything or we all die here!" Ao Chen crazily yelled at the demon leader who was still on the ground.

"Fuck… My freedom will forever be gone!" The demon leader stood up.

"But it's better than dying here…"

"I, Emir Charlemagne, wish to offer my entire soul to you, Lucifer, the almighty Devil God."

"Please grant me the honor of using your powers!"

Emir cut his wrist intentionally and placed his hands down on the blood puddle. Suddenly, his entire body changed. The horns on his head threw larger and his body got visibly more muscular. His body reeked of devil energy as his eyes turned completely red.

Ao Chen also completely transformed as well. His dragon body grew in size to the point that his body was covering an entire building. These two leaders had used all of their trump cards to ensure their survival today.

Looking at his opponents, Bruce was not fazed one bit. All he felt was pure rage after seeing the state of his friends. He had promised to protect them in this trial but couldn't do so.

Meredith passed out with blood covering her entire body. Chelsey's face was completely pale while recovering Meredith's vital. Edward was on the ground half dead. Sophia was pale as a white sheet while panting heavily on the ground. Lastly, his best friend Deion had multiple holes in his body.

"None of this would have happened had you assholes held back your stupid pride and let our group go in peace" Bruce ignored the giant dragon and demon staring at him with an oppressive aura. Even a high stage Divine King would shrink in fear when facing these types of opponents.

Bruce walked in front of his opponents and narrowed his eyes.

"I'm guessing you both used taboo techniques to artificially increase your strengths by this much"

"But it won't matter."

It was time for Bruce to fight seriously ever since he became a Divine King. All he wanted to do was pummel these two down to the ground and enjoy his time as he tortures them to death.

"Primordial Fist"

"Heavenly Stars"

Before reaching the Divine King realm, Bruce would only manage to increase his prowess by 20% when using Heavenly Stars. Now he felt that he could increase his prowess by 50% without taking any significant side effects.

"Soul Seeker"

Bruce's soul attack quickly paralyzed the demon and the dragon. They didn't understand how a human's soul could be this powerful as they struggled to stabilize their souls. Unfortunately, Bruce didn't give them any time.   

BANG

Bruce charged up his gauntlet will all the elemental energies and thrust his fist directly into Ao Shen's chest. The gauntlet broke through Ao Shen's tough dragon scales and pushed him far away.

Emir saw what was happening and instinctively created a devil energy protection barrier around his body. If Bruce makes any contact with his body, he would be able to sap Bruce's strength while increasing his own.

Unfortunately for Emir, Bruce didn't need to contact his body to hurt him.

"Primordial Bullets"

Bruce began to punch the air heavily and created shockwaves that vibrated across the entire City of Rebirth. Every time Bruce punched the air, the shockwave would contain all his elemental energies and shoot at Emir.

Emir tried to counteract the elemental bullets shooting at him with great speed with his devil energy blast. He quickly charged up a black purplish ball above his horns while enduring the primordial bullets coming from Bruce.

As the bullets penetrated Emir's body, he began to feel his body breaking down.

"Arrghh"

Nevertheless, he still maintained his pose to charge up his final attack to wipe out the devil in front of him.

After a few seconds, a dark energy ball began to conjure in the sky. Emir pointed his horns at Bruce to direct the devil death ball at his opponent. The ball quickly left the sky and landed right in front of Bruce.

"BRUCE!!!" Sophia screamed.

"DODGE YOU IDIOT!" Deion yelled out loud as Bruce stood in place to take the attack.

Bruce ignored all the commotions while charging up his gauntlet to the highest limits. When the devil death ball landed right in front of him, he clasped his hand together creating an explosion of elemental energy. The explosion was so powerful that it evaporated the death ball sent out by Emir.

"Impossible…." Emir looked in despair as his final attack vanished along with his hope of leaving this place alive.

Ao Chen didn't give up hope just yet and charged directly at Bruce after stabilizing himself. Sensing that a close combat battle with Bruce would be suicidal, he changed his plan and flew to the sky. He began to charge up the largest fire blast of his life to burn everyone on the ground.

"Lizard, your skin and mouth may be immune to fire, but what about the rest of your body?" Bruce didn't body to fly up to the sky and looked up at the gigantic dragon charging up the fire blast.

Bruce put his hand to the sky and with a turning motion, he forced the fire that came out of Ao Shen to reverse its direction. He wanted Ao Shen's entire internal body to cover in flames.

Ao Shen began to panic when he saw his fire was no longer under his control. The fire began to flow downward into the depths of his body.

"What are you….. Only Divine Emperors could control other's elemental energy" Ao Shen began to struggle greatly in the sky as he tried his best to suppress the inner fire of his body.

"AAAHHHH" Ao Chen screamed in pain as his internal organs were burning. He wanted to suppress the fire, but it couldn't happen. No matter how hard he tried, the fire kept growing more powerful as it devoured his insides.

He fell from the sky just to see Bruce walk over to his side with a smiling grin.

"Let's have some fun now, shall we?" Bruce said gently.
