Chapter 10: Chapter 10: The plans

In the throne room Zeus was seated on his golden throne by his side were his second wife and the members of his faction, mostly his children one could see, Hermes, Athena, Artemis… and in front of him were a delegation of gods standing behind a goddess who was badly beaten and lay on a bed in front of everyone.

"My king you need to do something about this situation looks at the state of this poor goddess..." said one of the gods pointing at the beaten goddess on the floor

"This is no longer even surprising to find one of our goddesses badly beaten just by taking a stroll in the garden of Olympus!"

"I understand how you feel but I have already launched an investigation on the matter, you can all be assured, very soon the culprit will be apprehended, I guaranty you that!" said Zeus to reassure them

"But my King we all know that who did …" some of them tried to argue back but they were quickly shut down by the most experienced of them who were able to feel the displeasure in the aura of their king

"Thank you for hearing us, we will leave the matter in your good hands." They conclude before leaving the room

In the last few months, the atmosphere of Olympus became gloomy, that firstly began with the mysterious case of the disappearance of one goddess, in a place like Olympus where nothing new tends to happen that was quickly noticed, but after a week the missing goddess reappears and things went back to normal.

But in the following days disappearance like that became more and more frequent and very soon that was the main topic on Olympus, and like all of them refuse to tell where they were, but came back safely, it became like a fun mystery that everyone tried to uncover, without much success.

But not long after the fun mystery took a dark turn when one of the missing goddesses was found bathing in her own blood in one of the gardens, from there the series of disappearances and bloody reappearance became more and more frequent and till now some of them have still not reappeared, and it continues until most of the goddesses of Olympus stopped leaving their houses alone, from fear to disappear.

After the other gods left leaving Zeus and his trusted children alone in the room none of them say a word for a while, it was the beautiful Artemis clothes in a white dress with her long brown hair trailing on her back who broke the silence

"Do you really think that Hera who is behind all that like the rumor said? You Know that I hate that goddess but that's not like her to act like that." she said with a frown on the face

"Ohh, because you someone else in Olympus who has enough influence and power to abduce nearly ¾ of all the goddesses in Olympus in just about six months without been discover, plus from the investigation all the goddesses who were found beaten or who permanently disappeared at some point had very close relationship why our dear father here! Please it can only be her…" said Hermes in a sarcastic manner

"What are you and father hiding exactly Hermes!" the goddess Athena in her golden armor and scepter in hand with her long blonde hair was the next to speak as she interrupted her brother

"What do you mean?" he replied with a seemingly puzzled by the question

"Please, excluding the members of our respective temples who were spare from the disappearance, there are about one hundred thousand goddesses in Olympus ¾ of them were supposedly kidnap in just six months and all those who have really suffered from that were the previous partner of our father, the almighty king of Olympus and you're trying to make us believe that you don't know who did it…" she let out a little sneer at the end

After she was done talking no one said a word for a while realizing that it didn't make a lot of sense particularly seeing how calm Zeus was about the event, letting out a sigh he finally said "Really nothing escapes you, daughter, huh! Yes, I already that it's Hera who is at the origin of all that."

"If you know that, why don't you do anything to stop her like you always do?" asks one of them

"The situation is more complicate than usual" said Hermes

"Explain then!!" urges the others looking at him

After looking at his father to receive his approval he began to explain to the others the situation they were in, and after he was done with his tale everyone was silent

"So, you infiltrate her subordinate, just to be able to have a little bit of fun on the side and now that she figures it out and is rightfully furious about that she is using every means necessary to get rid of all the party involved!" said Athena

"Even me can see how much of a bad idea it was to do that, you don't need to be a genius for that" said Apollo

"I am curious when you made that plan, how do you think that it was gonna play out when found out?" asked Athena to his father

"One question, you told us that Serea was giving you information on her move, if so, how it is that you didn't get the information that she was conducting her investigation from her?" another added

"Obviously because Hera doesn't trust her anymore, not surprising after such failure on her part I am even stunned that she is still alive!" replied his sister

"It's not important said Zeus, I knew that she would do something so I preemptively use one of my soldier power to copy the memory of those involved with me in other goddesses, and by the looks of things it's working well." He said proudly

"I see this is why you are so unfazed by all that, well if everything is under control I am leaving I have other things to do, you should do something to appease your people" Said Athena before beginning to walk toward the exit,

"I'm leaving too…" one by one the others followed her after all there wasn't anything for them to do if everything was already under control.

In one of her dungeons with hundreds of rooms fill with goddesses Hera was looking at Maeron who was standing in front of a woman cuffed on a bed "Sorry for that!" he said before plunging his hand in her chest making her spasm

"I wonder, how was he able to make it so that all those lesser goddesses were able to trick my best torturers, do you have an idea? All of them are convinced that they are his lovers, it's quite puzzling." Because she already had received the names of Zeus' mistress she knew that most of the ones captured weren't his mistresses and the fact that he let them be captured without making a move confirm her suspicion.

"If they think that, it's probably because they think it's true" Responded Maeron still focusing his attention on removing the divinity of the goddesses in front of him

"With the great variety and use of the divinity of all the gods of Olympus it's not so surprising that he found someone able of this kind of ability, luckily we took precaution and he will not be able to find anything about what we are doing" Maeron responded

"Huh, doesn't matter, in just six months I was able to take control of nearly all the goddesses of Olympus who are not in any faction thanks to my new Divinity all that literally with his blessing, I wonder what will be his reaction when he will find out what I did!" She said gloating imagining the shock on the face of Zeus.

"Soo.. this child should be born in a less than a month right, I would have gained control of all of the remaining goddesses by this time, but you better remember that child will probably be protected maybe by Zeus himself"

"Don't worry about that, thanks to you I was able to collect all the divinity that I wanted and with this last one" he said taking out the divinity of the goddess in front of him and integrating it with him

"I will have surpassed my limitation" he said smiling

When Hera began to make a contract with all the goddesses of Olympus very soon she found herself unable to contain so much different power but Maeron was able by combining different power he was able to change his body into a living Biblioteca containing all the different powers accumulated by Hera

"Do you wanna see something interesting?" he asked

Beside him a perfect double of himself appears, he admiring him from each angle before smiling he said to himself "Let me be the first to tell you that my friend, you are fucking handsome"

He then turn to Hera and asked her with a smile "So what do you think of a little test, to make sure that everything is fine with this beautiful young man here."

"That will my pleasure."
