Chapter 14: Chapter 14: God’s meeting

In a room in Olympus Zeus, and the most important members of Olympus were all gathered in one room even those who will usually refuse to respond to Zeus' summon, were present, showing how serious the situation was, the only missing was Hera.

For this occasion the original twelve seats of the council of god were nowhere to be seen, instead, five platforms were erected splitting them into factions.

Hades the god of the underworld in a luxurious dark robe was seated on a dark throne with his beautiful wife Persephone next to him, Hades was extremely handsome he had long dark hair and piercing red eyes that would make whoever they land on tremble in fear, Persephone had Green hair her beauty was breathtaking below their throne were seated three subordinates.

On the next platform was Poseidon, a god with curly blue hair and eyes was seated on a blue throne with his wife Amphitrite, below them were their children, like Triton, Orion...

Demeter in green seated alone on her throne with his subordinates below, smiling and making talking to her daughter who smiled back at her,

seeing that Hades esquisse a smile toward her who just made her frow and turn her head in the other direction.

"Haa" that just made Hades sigh helplessly finding that situation a little funny

Hestia who had red hair was sleeping on her seat without a care of what was happening around her

Zeus had two-seat beside him, on one of them was seated Themis his second wife, the seat of Hera however was still empty, below were children Athena, Artemis, Apollo

But they were not the only factions, there were the representatives of the lowers gods and the representatives of the titans.

"Soo, when will Hera grace us with her presence, she is the only one absent," asked Poseidon losing patience

"She will be here soon, be a little patient" reassured Zeus with an impassible expression but in truth, he wasn't even sure that she will show up after all she refuse to talk to him

"Pst, Hades!" leaning on his seat Poseidon call  his elder brother

"Did you hear, Hera hole herself in her room for a few months and no one saw her since you who has always good insight what do you think happens this time? Do you things she will really come?" he asked murmuring to Hades with a hand hiding his lips like he was trying to share a secret but for everyone present, it was like he was talking directly to their ears.

Doing the same thing Hades replies "He probably cheated on her again and now she is plotting her retaliation in secret, that will not be the first time that happens" The discussion taking place between the two helped relax the atmosphere in the room, only Zeus was frowing listening to them

"Clang"

While they were talking the door of the room opened to let Hera walk in wearing an exquisitely dressed in the company of her three generals Geneva, Ariana, and Delana.

"Sorry for making you all for me like that I had something to take care of," said Hera smiling clearly in a good mood

"That doesn't matter come to take a seat!" said Zeus showing her the throne next to him

"Finally you here sister, I thought you were sulking in your room like usually do," said Poseidon

"Huh" She didn't respond and walk toward Zeus, anyone who knew Poseidon would be able to tell you that this kind of behavior is natural to him, one of his hobbies was to infuriate people, and he was quite good at that

"I'm gonna sit here!" said Hera who did not reach the seat designed for her by her husband stunning everyone with a snap of her finger a platform began to grow from the ground between Zeus and Hestia who for the first time opened her eyes to look at what was happening next to her.

After Hera sat down nobody said a word and just looked at her like she grow a second head.

"HAHAHAHA...HAAA" what broke this silence was the laughter of Poseidon, who lasted nearly one good minute.

"Wha-What are you doing?" asked Zeus to his wife

"I am taking place!" she answers making a strange face

"Why did you sit there?" he asked

"Obviously because I don't want to sit next to you, oh yes your son is supposed to be born today right, shouldn't you be with him" she answers

"What do you mean by that?"

"I send Serea and the other traitors that you planted on my side to catch your new mistress, the queen of Argos, what's her name again Myrcela and her future bastard, but it's not a surprise right?" she said in a very calm voice everyone was just listening to their conversation with a hint of fear while some people like Poseidon were grinning enjoying the spectacle.

"I wonder if they will succeed, or if Hermes will have to kill them, it's him that you send to protect them if I am not mistaken"

"Yes, it's him" answer Zeus

"I'm curious, you knew what I was doing those last few months did you let me catch your little mistresses so that I will let you those two in peace," she asked feigning ignorance when in truth she already knew what he was preparing it was just a facade

"Why did you send traitors to capture his mistress?" asked Hades "If they betrayed you once what stopping them from doing that again"

"The fact that my curses will kill them in three hours if I don't remove them, they will fight to the death to accomplish their mission" her answer baffles everyone it was true that the punishment for treachery was death in Olympus but it has been ages since even one god died.

"I wonder how it will go, with the threat of death hovering above their head they will be a lot more motivated, it may take a very dangerous turn" added Hera smiling wickidely

"Did Hermes ever kill a fellow god?" asked Poseidon he knew that if what Hera said was true they will do anything to survive after all her curses were reputed for their cruelty, and most gods have an extreme fear of death

"I don't think that any of the new generations of gods have ever killed anything other than humans," said Hades

"Hermes shouldn't have any difficulty in a regular fight but a fight to the death, I don't know if he will be alright," said Demeter

"Hera do you understand what you did!" scream Zeus "We are gathered here to discuss an imminent threat to all of us and you are here sowing discord putting one of the core members of Olympus in danger" it was obvious that he was angry about the situation

"Oh don't overreact if Hermes finds himself in a dangerous situation he will run away like he always does, nobody here can catch him when he runs, not even you, in the case of my subordinates the punishment for treason is death, but don't worry if they succeed in their mission I will forgive them and just put them in jail as punishment finally for this human and her child they will live here under my surveillance and rule it's that or they will spend the rest of their life running away from me, I think that's pretty fair don't you all agree," so asked she said calmly addressing the others gods who witness their discussion

A debate took place between the gods' presents about what she just said and in the end, the majorities agree that it will be best if Zeus call back Hermes and his warriors and made him come back without a fight, even though he was reluctant to do that he had to do it because it was the best course of action for now

"Now that our issue is resolved let's get back on the main topic, shall we?" Said Hera
