Chapter 19: Chapter 19: The feast begin

Contrary to the popular belief, the underworld is not just some dark and gloomy place where the  screams of agony of the dead resound all day long, and at all hours.

No, even though those kinds of places indeed exist, places where every day is filled with pain, torture, and suffering they only constitute a minority of the districts that were established by Hades when took control of the underworld.

In the underworld, there are also districts reserved for the benevolent souls, those places are dreamy, there the souls spend their day drowning in happiness, free of pain and suffering, the complete opposite of those who find themselves in the other district.

The time and the place where your soul will end is determined by the actions, good and bad that you made during your life and at the end of your time there, your soul will have been purged of everything tying you to your previous life and prepare it to be rewritten, change, transform and or combine with others into a brand new and pure soul for your next journey.

There are a lot more places in the underworld, known and unknown places, even to peoples like Zeus.

The most beautiful place in the underworld is the district of the Gods where the castle of Hades is situated, in that district everything from the ground you walk on to the roof of the castle, everything is made from the rarest materials, such as gold, diamond, ruby, etc...

The decoration is splendid and cover by the most beautiful rose and vegetation made by Persephone.

A few minutes before the return of Hades

A thunder strike resounded in the ears of all the inhabitants of the district resulting in a tear in the artificial sky created by Hades, and under the horrified eyes of everyone present the enormous hands of a giant monster blasted through the crack before grabbing it and forcing it to expand.

Stupefied the gods of the underworld saw in horror a monster as big as a Titan forcing his way toward them through the crack, they could already see his big red eyes looking at them with a malicious glow, his wide mouth full of drool and sword-like teeth, and his energy as malicious as abundant coming closer.

"What. the.. fuck is that!!"

"A monster!!"

"Run away!"

"Don't be afraid!"

"…"

The gods present were assailed by a multitude of different emotions, some began to run in fear while some couldn't even move.

Some steel their resolve preparing to engage the invader, while others tried to find their relatives.

In a few seconds, the previously calm district became chaotic, and it became even worst when the crack became big enough

Typhon didn't waste any time and shout through the opening

"Boom" crashing directly on the castle of Hades destroying a part of it, he let out a horrifying road that resounds through the entire underworld.

"I-Impossible, it's the god eater, Typhoon …"

Once they had a clear view of the monster many recognize him immediately, the fear that the name Typhoon inspire to the god was so great that it made the majority who prepare themselves to confront him disappear in an instant, they too turned around to flee the calamity that he represented.

From the remaining of the castle Typhon looked at this chaos that he caused with delight he took a little while to enjoy the fear that he felt from his prey before loudly exclaiming

"Let the feast begin"

A transformation occurred at that moment on his body, he started to shrink from his previous 30 meters tall he fell to 10 meters, thousands of snakeheads started to sprout from all over his body creating a grotesque and disgusting scene.

once they were fully formed, Typhoon expel the snakeheads in every direction, those thousands of snakes tall enough to swallow a god without any difficulty started their hunt.

"Argg.. aghh.. help…"

Nearly instantaniously screams of agony and terror of gods being swallowed and torn apart resounded throughout the underworld.

A few minutes later, from his platform, Typhoon felt that some of his snakes were being killed, focusing his attention around him, he was able to spot shadows moving quietly around him while the civilians were disappearing.

Seeing them instead he smile and began to drool even more

"These ones seem delicious!" he said

Getting up, he jumped on the field at great speed creating a big explosion, when the dust settle those present saw the legs of a god hanging from the mouth of Typhon who had his eyes closed with a delighted expression on his face.

"Delicious indeed!" he said savoring the taste of the flesh he just ate

"Slash, boom!" While he was busy eating a wave of energy struck him from behind severing one of his right arm while the other struck his back creating an explosion that made him wobble a little.

Turning around completely unaffected by the attack he just received to face two gods one with blond hair, the other with the dark one, looking alike a claded in armors, he nonchalantly swallows the remains of the warriors that he still had in his mouth before talking

"If it's not Thanatos and his brother Hypnos, how have you two been? Still as appetizing as ever, he!"

"How are you still alive.. monster! And more importantly, how did you get here!?"

"Oh, you have the king of Olympus to thank for that, he decided for whatever reason not to kill me, instead he imprisoned me, somewhere, but thank him I am still alive, starving, but alive, I should thank him properly for his leniency, once I am done with you of course, haha…!"

A grave expression appears on their faces when they heard the answer than Typhoon gave, they always had a complicated relationship with Zeus but if what Typhoon said was true it would change everything

"You are lying!"

"Zeus may be infuriating, but he is not crazy enough to unleash you in the underworld!" said Hypnos

"It doesn't matter, we will have our answers once we defeat him" said Thanatos readying his scythe.

While they were talking the warriors of the underworld were able to evacuate the entire district regroup behind the two

"You were stalling for time huh, me too!!" at those words the snake that was dispersed around gathers behind him, the body of gods that were swallowed that were not yet digested were visible from the too big stomach of some of the snake's belly as well as his severed arm began to merge again with him leaving only about half behind.

He grow again to about 20 meters tall, they also felt his dark energy grow at great speed, once he was done he  opened the dark hole serving him of mouth big enough for everyone to see some of them, still alive in his mouth pleading for help, before he mercilessly closed it again

Seeing that scene many of them lost their cool due to the anger and were about to attack in rage but, they were stopped by a portal that appears in front of them and from there Hades their king appears followed by Athena, Apolo, Tidus, and the chosen representatives.

Kingdom of Argos

All the temples in the Kingdom had been destroyed, it didn't take too much effort because the best warriors had been brought outside to confront Serea while those who remain were mostly apprentices, priestesses who were not trained to fight, of course, Argus lost some men too but the number was very low.

Standing in front of a crowd of people with his warriors by his side Argus, his wife Myrcela kneeled on the ground in front of him and her baby on a table he began to talk.

"My dear people I gather you here to make you a revelation, something very humiliating and life-changing for me and all of us"

"A few months ago, I learn that my beloved queen cheated on me in my own house, on my own bed, yes that happen to even a king as you can imagine or if it happens to you at a point in your life you don't have to imagine the pain and suffering that you feel after such betrayal is crushing. "Some in the crowd nodded and murmurs resounded

"I wanted revenge, but the object of says revenge was too damn powerful, there isn't a lot a being above a king, but this one is definitively above me, someone that I invited in my house, my Kingdom, and gave my trust, the king of Olympus Zeus." Hearing the name Zeus made everything clear that wasn't stunning that Zeus did it, but seeing what their king did in retaliation made them fear for their life.

"I shouldn't even be surprised, this pig who serve as king of Olympus, and his subjects always did whatever they wanted raping, daughter or wife, kidnapping, enslaving or killing who they want as they want, when they want, why, because of their powers"

"I thought that my revenge was nothing but a dream and that I will have to suffer in silence like so many others before me throughout our world, but it's when someone answers my prayers, and made me an offer, he offered me the power to take back my dignity, my country, fight for my honor, he offered me..."

He then took out a small dagger and placed himself in front of the table while the baby began to crying and while his wife Myrcela was pleading with tears in her eyes for him to stop

"...Power!!"

Shouting he lowers the dagger with full power, under the scream, shock and horror of the dumbfounded crowd the dagger stabbed the newborn child, who stopped crying.

After a few seconds, the child who should have stopped breathing by now began to scream with  even more strength while Argus began to slowly pull out the sword from his chest

Under their eyes, the crowd saw the dagger slowly transformed into a lightning sword

"…Power to take the power of Half-god and make it mine."

He ended his sentence by stabbing himself in the chest.
