The words of the king of Olympus petrified the whole room at this point the eyes of everyone who were looking at him turned toward Hades who began to release an intense and overwhelming dark cold energy.
Everyone expected him to explode with anger at any time now, the tension grow for a few seconds but in the end, Hades just closed his eyes, and when he reopened it they had regained their calm light and showed no signs of agitation
"I can see where you're coming from, but your worries are unfounded, I am a lot a thing, but I am sure that everyone, even those who do not like me can agree on the fact that I am not and was never a threat to Olympus, I hardly even cause you any trouble!"
"..well maybe once!" he said looking at Persephone, it reminded everyone how he had lured her at the beginning of their relationship.
After the statement made by Hades, the gods began to discuss between themself and after a while, none of them could come up with a solid argument to refute what he said no matter how much they reflect on the matter, as he said other than the time where he took Persephone with him to the underworld they could hardly find fault with him
This was not the case for most of the other gods, they each had at least one hundred stories about them, with the other exception being Hestia, in fact in the case of Persephone the one who causes them trouble was Demeter after all it had been proven that Persephone had agreed to follow him of her own free will.
"He is right!"
"Now that he mentions it!"
"Most of the time he doesn't even leave his realm,"
In a few seconds, the tide had changed and they took hades' side
"He is right Zeus, among all the gods present here Hades is the least likely to cause us any trouble, if that's what bothering you your throne is safe from him," said Demeter and everyone had to agree with her
"Oh, thank you so much for your support, mother in law!!" said Hades joking with Demeter who anger her
"Don't call me that!" in response she shouted at him in anger, all that lighten the mood in the room.
At this point, Poseidon added "Take the throne of Olympus would be more like a punishment for him because that will force him to leave his hole... I mean house"
Seeing everyone make fun of his idea did not bother Zeus in the slightest and he just explain his reasoning calmly
"You are right! he may indeed be the last one to threaten Olympus as you said, but remember what the prophecy showed us Titans, Giants, monsters, and gods fighting each other, you my brother have not only one of the biggest and deadliest armies of all of us, but you also are the guardian of the gates of Tartarus who which is the most likely the place whom the danger against us is coming from!" he explains
"Even if you don't betray us which I believe is the case, what if something were to happen to you and your Queen, will your men continue your battle? What if someone betrays you! You are our first line of defense against Tartarus, and if your two forces were to form an alliance none of us will be spared from such a catastrophic outcome,"
"That's why I propose that we send a delegation to make sure that everything is alright in the underworld, what do you things I need you to reflect on that!"
Once he was done nobody could refute Zeus' argument they all agree that the danger would most likely come from Tartarus and they were right about that.
That was also true that Hades and his army alone could threaten all of them and if they joined hands that would be a catastrophe this realization scare them all.
Other than Zeus who had his eyes on hades for a brief moment before turning his gaze toward the others to convince the others of joining his side Hades had his eyes closed and was not paying attention to anything that anyone was saying he was like absent and his expression became grave and full of concern, but it was only for a brief moment.
"That's a lot of 'If'!" said Hades reopening his eyes
"Do I need to remind you that one of the reasons why I became king of the underworld was to keep the gate of Tartarus closed because none of you wanted to move their lazy asses to do it,"
"I build one of the biggest and the deadliest army like you so well pointed out, partly to help me with that task, and I would say that I did a pretty good job in keeping you all safe, but now I, am a menace, or a traitor, who need to be kept under surveillance " the word of Hades made some of them lower their head in shame, knowing that all he said was true
An uncomfortable silence filled the room before Zeus said "It will only be temporary!"
With a certain nonchalance that stunned everyone, Hades replied "Okay!"
"That's fine, I agree with your request, choose your representative now! I will provide them access to the underworld for their investigation."
"Thank you for your understanding, dear brother," said Zeus with sad a smile

For everyone present it was no secret that Zeus always fear Hades, he was a better ruler and leader, a better husband and he inspired more respect and fear in all of them.
Even if he was most likely right about the menace of Tartarus, Hades was probably not a menace, but he could be extremely unpredictable and that made him very dangerous plus a lot of them had a sort of irrational fear of him that coupled with the argument of Zeus made nearly everyone agree with Zeus that nothing could be left to chance so they began to choose their representative.
"While everyone was busy choosing their representative Persephone asked him "What's happening? Why did you agree to that request, that's not like you!"
He just smile tenderly and replied "I just think that they will be useful if there is really a menace brewing in Tartarus"
Having her answer she didn't insist and Hades once again closed his eyes as if sleeping letting them select their representative, if she had looked at the three generals that they had brought with them she would have seen that they were all extremely grave and restless, and knowing them she would have figured out that their state was not due to the disrespect that they had to endure by suggesting that they could betray their king.
After one minute or so all the representatives had been elected, Zeus choose Athena and his son Apolo.
Poseidon and Demeter choose one of their generals each named respectively Tidus, and Esme.
Hestia didn't bother choosing anyone which didn't surprise anyone, Oceanus choose one of his grandchild named Oceus who was a water titan like himself, the representative of the lower gods choose five of them attempting to make up for their lack of influence and power with number, what surprise, however, was that Hera like Hestia didn't send anyone but she made it pass like a sign of defiance toward her husband.
When all the actors had been chosen hades opened his eyes, I see that everyone is ready, perfect, let go then!" he said stunning everyone once again
"What! you mean right now?" someone asked
"Yes, I mean right now!" he said firmly isn't that the perfect opportunity? there is no way that I can hide anything from you on such short notice right."
"That can't be done they cannot be send there without any preparation or instruction!" answered Zeus the situation was not what he expected, it was an opportunity for him to have access to a side of the underworld that he didn't have access and he didn't want to let it slipe,
"All those important people are among the most powerful and resourceful of Olympus, they will be fine!"
"You know what!" turning toward Persephone he said, "My dear what do you say of staying here for a little while in the company of your mother and his your aunt Hestia until I come back, I think that it will put everyone here at ease!"
"Huh, Okay but..." he cut her off before she could say anything else
"Perfect, let's go then," he said flying off his throne and landing on the ground
"I think we should..." Someone else tried to interject but was stopped by the ice-cold voice of Hades who made them shiver in fear,
"We are leaving right now!!" and just like that Hades with all the representatives gather in the center of the room
From Hades' sleeve, a dark sword appears and with a slash, he cut open the space a path open and from this path, everyone could see the underworld, Hades' realm, and what they saw shocked them.
They saw a monster deformed whose size was between a giant and a titan with two horns on the head, blood-red eyes, teeth sharp like swords, multiples snakes head at each shoulder.
Attacking that monster with all their might was an army of gods who were fighting bravely only to be gobbled up by the snakes coming from the monsters, destruction, and flame was present everywhere.
"...Is that Typhon!?,"
"The god eater?!!"
"huh, Typhon!"
"What the hell is that?!"
Question assailed all the gods, it took a while before what was happening in front of them was enregister in the brain of everyone, some of the representatives attempted to get out of the gate who had nearly swallowed them but it was too late, but before the gate close upon them the voice of Hades resounded
"I do not know how the monster that you assure us having reduced in ashes found his way into my house, but I hope for you my brother that you will have a good explanation for my return.
