Chapter 22: Chapter 22: Under attack!

Typhoon continued to play with them for a while, but it's at that moment that he made a mistake, he decided maybe driven by curiosity he decided to explore the underworld, just a few hours after he made it there and devoured his first victims, he came face to face with the king of the underworld Hades himself.

The tension was palpable between them Hades and Typhoon were both monsters in their own ways, and even though Typhoon had more the appearance of one their overwhelming dark energy was terrifying for the common gods.

Looking around Hades saw the bones of Typhoon's latest victim, and from the residue of energy on them, he was able to deduce that they belong to his own kind.

The sight of that disturbed even him who was often impassible, and once the shock passed anger was what emerge, he remembered the thousands of gods who disappears and he was able to deduce their pitiful fate.

For Typhoon who was to this point able to do kill whoever he wanted whenever he wanted and escape he had a very low opinion of the gods, he was not impressed by Hades in the slightest, after spending all of his few years of life hiding and eating he wanted to know if could kill one of the Kings of the Greek Pantheon he engages in a battle against Hades.

The reverberation of the battle that happened at its borders shook the underworld and lasted for three entire days, and of course, he didn't escape the eyes of the Zeus and the others but under the guise of not wanting to intervene in his matters they let him deal with that on his own, causing great destruction in the realm, but with minimal death on his people.

That fight continues until after they both sustain severe injuries the battle shift in Hades' favor, forsawing his inevitable defeat and death like he often did, Typhoon escape, to the surface.

Even in his bad Hades assemble his army to pursue the threat, but he was stopped by the forces of his brothers with various pretexts, but the truth was that they wanted to be the ones to kill the monster who caused them so much trouble, in anger, Hades didn't disclose what he discovered on Typhoon, and just return where he was coming from before scealling it.

It was another mistake. After all the years that he spends hiding Typhoon knew the in and out, the lowest, darkest part of their territories better than the rulers themselves, not only he was injured but more importantly, he was starving to the point of losing his mind, the gods that were sent to capture became the best dishes that he could dream of.

Without restrain he hunted and devoured everything and everyone before hiding himself again, not only did he regain his previous strength he became even more powerful, and nearly endless power that sent chills to the most hardened warrior and various powers that he stole from his victim, and very quickly the only one that could contain against him were the top of the top among the gods.

And it was said that they too would run away instead of confronting him alone.

Only then did they finally unite themselves once again to eliminate him, and only then did H finally decide to leave his territory to join them.

But, after all that time Typhoon had become so powerful that even with Hades, Zeus, Demeter, Hestia, and Poseidon fighting together could not defeat him, a feat that even the titans were not able to achieve.

After five days of the fight, all of them were exhausted that they began to make mistakes, and some of them were nearly eaten by him, they decided that the best solution in their current state the best course of action was to give their power to the one who had the more chance to kill him and having the fastest power of attack Z was naturally the best choice.

So they combine their remaining energy that they transfer to Z, and with this newfound power he was able to continue the battle alone, and with his fast and powerful lightnight bolt at more than full power Typhoon already greatly weakened was not able to resist and once the barrage of attack ended the god eater, the terrible monster who threatens then all was writing in pain and agony, with gaping holes on his massive body, burn to a crisp, and yet still alive.

That scene satisfied him greatly, after all the trouble that the monster caused him he wanted to see him suffer more, as if he was in hell then he looked up to see the devastated state of his realm, of his men, at the same time he thought of the state of Hades forces, who barely suffered any casualties.

'If he were to attack now, he will surely be able to take my throne' and in that state the solutions that he thought of was to make use of the weakened Typhoon as a tool, yes, he will keep the monster alive and a place where he will suffer for all his crimes until he had enough and if Hades decided like he thought to betray him for whatever reason, he will unleash the monster on him.

End of the flashback

Hearing Zeus all of them were stunned by his response

"Did you lose your mind or maybe you hit your head too hard during that fight and that has made you lose your reasoning! Are you even listening to yourself you wanted to unleash Typhoon, in the underworld in case of trouble, the monster who gain power by eating our kind in a place full of gods!"

"Only if he betrayed me, us!"

"He would have just served as a diversion to occupy Hades. Plus, I made sure that he is weakened to the point where he will not be a threat to someone like Hades." He retorqued

"It has been years, thousands of years, how long did you counted to hide it from us, keeping him as your weapon, will you have to use him on us if you judge that we became threats to you," asked Poseidon furious at Zeus response

"Are we really supposed to believe that he didn't himself unleash the monster in the underworld while Hades was a way to weaken him, he said it himself he consider Hades to be too powerful maybe he wanted to even the balance of power" said someone else

"Truth, he is the one who arranges the meeting after all…"

"He is the one we should be warry about…"

As his subject began to slowly turn on him, he began to panic

"I do not know how Typhoon escaped, I was sure that everything was under control, I wouldn't have sent my children there if I had any clue that Typhoon was there!"

"One thing is sure, the prophecy of the seer and the return of Typhoon, it can't be a coincidence, it doesn't matter if you let it out or if he escapes, the point is that he is probably the threat that assembles us here, so all that is basically your fault," said Hera with an accusing tone

Silence reigned in the place everyone was looking at Zeus with a somber glim in their eyes.

"Finally!" in the midst of all that the voice of Persephone attracted their attention

"What's happening?" asked Demeter to Her daughter who replied

"I can see them, it's gonna take a while until I can get in but for now I will do" after she said that with a gesture of the hand the image of the underworld appear in front of the eyes of everyone, it was the image of Hades, Atena sword at hands fighting the giant monster that is Typhon while receiving support from the others who was showering him with all sort of attack, ball of fire, water, sharp leaves…

No one was in the vicinity all the warriors had been made to leave the area with Tanatos and Hipnos who scelled the place leaving them alone with Typhoon, while they were looking at the battle.

"Booom" a powerful explosion shook the entirety of Olympus

"What's happening?"

"Did someone attack us?"

While they were trying to figure out what was happening someone burst through the door interupting

"M-my lord, we are under attack"

Getting up from his seat Zeus asked "under attack, from who?"

"Purgatory!!"
