"Open up the camera," Nuala says.

Mia was already ahead as she grabbed a very old-looking phone out of her bag. It looked like the bank phone I received but a bit thinner. I was glad I bought a pen phone because carrying that big thing everywhere would be such a pain.

Mia turned on the phone, projecting a holographic screen in front of her. But, of course, she wasn't done as she selected the application for the drone, causing the holographic screen to show what the drone saw.

On the actual phone, the screen was the controller for controlling the drone. It even had a stealth option to copy the background from where the enemy is looking and paste that over its own body, camouflaging itself.

"Put in on the screen- thanks," I cut off my sentence after seeing Mia swipe the holographic screen onto the 360-degree screen in front of us.

What was displayed was the 500 members that we recruited, hiding in the shadows near the edge of the mansion neighborhood. Our drone was extremely high up, so only a UAV or good scanner could find us… or maybe a helicopter, but our drone is so small they probably won't even be able to find it.

Ethel was the one who ended up calling the 6 bosses of all the groups that we recruited. But before she spoke into the microphone, she put on her mask to change her voice into something that isn't recognizable.

This the first time we're talking with them over a call…

"Okay, Abigail and William will lead 250 of the members towards the back. Make sure nobody gets seen. If anybody does get seen, immediately retreat since we already lost the advantage," Ethel speaks into the phone.

Smart. Since most of the members didn't have power stones or weren't used to their new gear, 1 greatly trained guard could probably take down at least 3 of our members before dying to a fourth one.

And judging from the size of the mansion, there are at least 150 guards… not optimal. So that's why we need any advantage possible and not just bust through the front gates.

"Charlotte, Elijah, Mason, since this mansion only has 4 floors, you all will split the remaining members amongst yourselves. Take them to raid the top 3 floors while Abigail and William will raid the bottom floor through the back,"

"Roger," We hear 5 voices say synchronically before Ethel hangs up the phone.

"Okay, now we just need to see if this works," Ethel sighs.

"Is anyone getting cold?" I ask the rest of the group while waiting for the commanders and members to take their position.

"No… why?" Mia asks.

The other girls shake their heads in disagreement…

How come I'm the only one that's cold. Isn't the blood passive skill supposed to warm me up? Oh, there's also that time where I was cold when watching a movie with Mia. Didn't I have the fiery icy blood skill but I was still cold?

Multiple questions flow through my mind, but I was interrupted by Mia.

"Come here," Mia gestures.

I, of course, accept and sit down on her ŀȧp, leaning against her ċhėst. She was warm, but my body wouldn't stop shivering. Even when I slipped under her sweatshirt, I couldn't stop shivering.

There's no way I can be sick… isn't this body supposed to be immune to diseases?

"Lucy, are you sick?" Mia asks, looking down at me.

"I don't think so… let's pay attention. Here give me the controller,"

"It's set in autopilot mode. Just leave it. For now, it will give us the best view not just outside but also inside the mansion," Mia says.

"Okay… can I have a kiss?" I ask.

I've been feeling lonely lately since Mia has been busy with other things for the past week, and Auntie has disappeared. I can say the same for the other members since they still have their duties as the heiresses for their family.

Mia doesn't respond as she lowers her mouth downward, and we lock lips. I feel another source of warmth spread up my neck as I close my eyes.

Suddenly one more source of warmth spread through my face. Something entered my mouth as it was wet but felt nice. It licked the inside of my mouth and intertwined with my own tongue.

I felt my breathing rapidly increase as my entire body suddenly felt warmer.

Mia then retreated from me as her tongue was hanging out. I didn't even notice that my own tongue was hanging out as well.

"Do you feel warmer now?" Mia asks, wiping the salivae from her lips.

"Mhm,"

I only gave a weak nod as my face was flushed entirely red.

"Ahhhh! I want a girlfriend!" Ethel shouts, slamming her fist onto the stone table.

Everybody was surprised at Ethel's comment.

"You like girls as well?" I ask Ethel.

"Yeah, she does. Maybe a bit too much," Electra says, leaning back in her chair.

"Does anybody else like girls?" Ethel asks, wiping slowly forming tears from her eyes.

Only one other girl raised her hand, Astra. She was slightly embarrassed, and when I adjusted my eyes towards Nell, I could see her nodding in agreement.

"Ah, I knew it," Nell says.

"You did?" Astra replies, slightly shocked.

"Uh, yeah. It was pretty fuċkɨnġ obvious…" Nell says, rolling her eyes.

"R-really?"

"Grace Mellish," Nell says with a teasing smile.

"U-Uhhhh… W-w-whos that?"

"*sigh*... you know who I'm talking about,"

"Grace Mellish, the singer…? I guess she's pretty cute," Mia says.

I give Mia a quick elbow jab in the ribs, making her apologize instantly.

"Sorry, sorry. She may be cute, but she's not as cute as you," Mia says, trying to fix her earlier statement.

Everybody knew what was about to happen, so they looked away. I gave Mia another jab but in the stomach this time, almost knocking the wind out of her. Turning my body fully around, I grab Mia by the collar of her sweatshirt.

"I-I was kidding. She's not cute at all, and you're the only one who's cute in my eyes," Mia says, trying to catch her breath.

"That's what I thought," I mutter, turning back around.

"Maybe I should try to get a nicer girlfriend," Ethel says, making me shoot a glare directly at her.

Ethel doesn't reply and turns her head away once again.

"Isn't Grace Mellish like 3 years older than us. I think she like just started to college in France," Clio says.

"Is she attending college? She makes more than enough money to where she doesn't even need to get a job. Can't she be a singer as her career?" Celestine asks.

"She's attending college for social interaction," Astra says.

"What a creep," Nell mumbles.

"A creep? Me? How am I a creep?"

"How did you instantly know the answer...? Well, unfortunately, there is only one answer and one answer only… you stalk her," Nell says, her face crumpling in disgust.

"Y-you're wrong. I would never do that,"

She definitely did that. But I ȧssume it's only online unless she sent somebody from her family overseas to stalk her personally… which I highly doubt her family would approve of.

Buzz Buzz Buzz

We all looked over what made the sound and saw that a few notifications had lit up Ethel's phone. Then, directing my gaze at the 360 degrees screen, I saw that the commanders or leaders had all successfully arrived at their designated spot.

"Let's see if giving vague commands will improve their leadership and decision-making skills," I mutter.

"Well, if it doesn't, that just means we have to teach them a lot of things. I mean, they were gangs that primarily focused on extorting the slums," Mia says.

I wouldn't have agreed with accepting these slum extorting bastards if they didn't have an endless amount of rage built up towards the rich families. Just reading about their deeds that they gave us VIA messages, I already knew how fuċkėd up they were… but also saw the vague plans that were slowly being built towards taking down one of the biggest families in New York…
