"Old geezer, I brought my girlfriend," Mia says after swinging the door open.

"Oh, what a pretty young lady. Well then, please sit down at whichever seat you would like and don't worry, it's a massage chair, so you just have to sit back and relax," The old man says, grabbing his cane and walking over to the center of the room.

"Uhhhh… is this guy going to be cutting my hair?" I ask Mia, seeing the old man's shaky hands and squinted eyes.

He was about 5'7 with short gray hair but a long gray beard. He seemed frail and looked as if just a slight blow would knock him over… and that guy was about to cut my hair.

If I let this guy cut my hair, he might end up cutting my neck or cutting off my ear.

"Don't worry, his hands might be shaky now, but once you sit down, you'll notice how he's one of the best barbers in New York," Mia says.

"Fine, I just hope he doesn't push through death's door when he starts cutting my hair," I say after sitting down on the top right chair.

The massaging feature instantly started to work as I felt the knots of stress that built up yesterday slowly disappear. My face melted in bliss as I felt somebody start to comb my long hair, which reached almost past my waist.

"Young lady, how would you like your hair to be cut," The old man asks.

"Can you cut it till here," Mia says, drawing a line across the back of my hair.

"Can you also make bangs right here, but don't make it so straight that it looks dumb. Just do what you usually do, and it should be fine," Mia says.

"Okay, that should be doable," The old man replies after grabbing his metal scissors.

I guess he is pretty important if he can talk so casually with a young mistress.

Snip Snip Snip

The cutting of the scissors was almost melodic as the old man cleanly cut my hair. If it weren't for Mia intently watching, I would've fallen asleep from not only the sound of the scissors but also the massage chair, which relieved the tension in my back.

After about 10 minutes, a spritz of water hit my hair, and I opened my eyes. I checked myself out in the mirror, and I was delighted (A/N - Reference and what I'm going for is in the paragraph comment. If it's not there, please comment, so I remember to add it).

"Okay, young lady. It seems you had a lot of built-up dirt in your hair that is impossible to remove with regular shampoo, so spray this solution a few times every day, and after about a week to 2 weeks, all of the dried up and stuck dirt should disappear," The old man says as he brushes off all the hair that the apron couldn't catch.

"Thanks, old man! I'll make sure to up your salary when I can!" Mia shouts, immediately ripping me out of the chair and dragging me out of the room.

"Wait! I didn't even get the spray yet!" I shout.

"Oh… well then hurry up. I'm starving," Mia says, falling to the ground with slight tears welling up in the corner of her eyes.

"Geez, you're more of a fatass than Electra," I say before entering the barbershop once again.

"Ah, young lady, here you go," The old man says, walking over to me with his back bent.

I graciously receive the bottle of solution before heading towards the exit, but before I exited through the door, the old man spoke up once again.

"Make sure to take care of Mia. Though she may not show it, she's been struggling greatly," The old man says with a warm smile.

"Don't worry, I've already noticed, and I'll try my best," I reply before exiting the room.

Mia was curled up in a ball on the hallways dark red carpet. Slight tears trickled down her face as she held her stomach in agony.

"Geez… maybe Electra isn't so bad," I mutter as I help Mia stand up.

Mia and I make our way to the breakfast table, where multiple plates of food had been set. Mia's pitiful state was quickly turned upside down as she pounced onto her food, just bȧrėly making it onto the chair.

"Young mistress, please be mindful of your manners," The same maid that I saw last time says as she leads me to a chair right next to Mia.

"Miss Lucy, your new haircut looks lovely," The maid compliments.

"Thanks,"

I was pretty hungry as well, so I just ate a few pancakes and a few eggs as my breakfast… while Mia looked to eat the entire pantry.

"Why is her appetite so big?" I ask the maid who stood behind me.

"Mistress's power stone was very incompatible with her body when she used it. A good example would be if you tried to fit a boulder through a plastic water bottle, but if you were actually able to end up fitting in," The maid replies.

I see… so there must've been a side effect to such a process, and I could only ȧssume it is her massive appetite? Maybe?

"You must be wondering how that is connected to her appetite; well, the side effect for such a process is that her body is at a higher temperature than the average human. This is strange even for the Fire Brave as he doesn't have this problem, but she does. And the only conclusion that the doctors could come up with is that since her body is always at a higher temperature than a normal person, she casually burns more calories from just sitting around or doing anything," The maid explains.

"I see… so that's why she doesn't get fat even though she eats so much,"

That's also probably why I feel much warmer when I'm next to her.

"What about Electra? Is that the same reason why she doesn't get fat despite how much she eats?" I ask Mia.

"*munch* *munch* *munch* Uhhhhh… *munch* *munch* I think it's because of how much training she does. Well, that's probably still not possible… She might have a similar situation as me," Mia says through bites.

"Alright, well, slow down," I say.

"Sure," Mia replies but proceeded to go with the same pace of eating as before.

I heave another sigh before finishing up my breakfast, with Mia finishing not long after as well. We then changed into new clothes, with Mia giving me some techwear that I picked out from her massive walk-in closet.

"You know I don't always wear techwear," I say.

"Really, I've always seen you with techwear… Do ever wear girly clothes like a dress or something," Mia asks as we leave her mansion.

"I'd rather not. I wore the same white dress for like 5 years, so I'd rather change it up a bit,"

"Makes sense. Anyway, where are we going?"

"Want to see my mom's grave?"

"Sure," Mia replies with a warm smile.

"Miss Amana, it's good to see you. My name is Mia Lachnes, and I hope you don't mind me dating her despite both of us being girls," Mia says, bending down to greet my mothers grave.

Mia and I bought a few flowers for my mother's grave on our way here, so she placed them on the gray rock below her.

Once Mia had finished "talking" with my mom, she got up and made room for me as I bent down to meet the grave.

I just sat there, my head hanging in sadness. I didn't really like coming here that much as it keeps reminding me of the nightmares that I have, which is why I hadn't visited lately.

"Sorry for not visiting lately… I think you know why… Auntie is gone for now, and I don't know how to save her… I'm so thankful for Mia being here. Otherwise, I would've crossed over to the other side to meet up with you… I love you," I say as I placed the flowers I had bought onto the gray stone.

I then stood up and tried to clear my mind of all negative thoughts, but it seems Mia noticed and hugged me tightly while lightly kissing me on the top of my head.

"Whos 'Auntie'?" Mia asks as we split apart.

"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you right now,"

"It's fine. And if you ever need help to save your aunt, me and the rest of Tolf will happily help… I mean, you were the one who told us that, right?"

"Yeah...."
