"It's fine. And if you ever need help to save your aunt, me and the rest of Tolf will happily help… I mean, you were the one who told us that, right?"

"Yeah..."

The rest of the morning proceeded smoothly as we went on another date before attending another meeting with Tolf.

This meeting was to find our next choice of target, which was another Write family member.

After a few hours of scanning through the easiest choices, we found a fatso who looked to be fed calories on top of calories his entire life… His huge belly was almost pitiful.

"His mansion isn't that big, so we don't need to send all of the members like last time,"

"Yeah, but there may be more guards as I think the family has probably figured that they are getting targeted by us," I say.

"Yeah, they might've doubled or even tripled the number of guards within their mansions, so I think we should still send all of them," Amanda agrees with me.

"Alright, I'll tell them again, I guess… wait, when should we attack them? Today? It's on short notice, so we might not be able to gather all of them," Ethel says.

"That is why we are attacking tomorrow when we're in the middle of school. If Tolf ends up attacking a Write family member once again, then that will most likely clear us from any suspicions built up as we are in school," Mia says.

Everybody nods their head in agreement before Aria speaks up about a topic that I've been wondering about as well.

"What about the children that we saved? Where are the commanders keeping them? Or did they change their minds since I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't take care of that many children at once,"

"They're keeping them at their bases in the slums. I'm sure most of those kids were from the slums anyway, so adjusting won't be that bad," Ethel says.

"How many bases do they have because just like Aria said, there are a lot of kids," Electra says.

"Oh, with all of their influence combined, they control over 75% of the slums… which translates to our power as well. I was also thinking we wipe out any slum competitors that might get in the way or snitch on us when we least expect it," Mia says.

"Then let's do that after this raid which is basically going to clear any suspicion of us," I say.

Everybody nods their head in agreement once again.

"Okay, I'll tell the commanders tonight. And how about this time they try to make a plan on their own," Ethel says.

"Are you just lazy?" Nuala asks.

"So what if I'm lazy… they should be making their own plans anyway. We manage and make decisions for the group while they can create the plans and actually lead the members into battle," Ethel says.

"I agree, we don't want them just to be mindless servants that only know how to follow our orders, cause that means when or if a time comes that we are not there, they'll not know what to do," Electra says.

"Ummmm… I don't know about that. They were leaders before they ȧssimilated into Tolf, and they're ȧduŀts that probably had a decent upbringing, so I believe they can make decisions on their own," I say.

"Decent upbringing? If they had a decent upbringing, then why would they be working as slum extortionists?" Electra asks.

"Money… isn't it pretty obvious? I said decent, so that would mean they got a decent education to where they could bȧrėly scrape together enough money to live… but why would you ever put yourself through that when you can make more than enough money through extorting the slums and stuff," I respond.

"Ah, I see,"

"Okay, well, the meeting is over, so let's go back home. I really want to try something with Lucy," Mia says.

"Sheesh, shits about to get spicy," Astra says.

I blushed slightly before activating the necklace.

Once I arrived in Mia's room, I saw the rest of Tolf leave Mia's mansion before Mia brought me to her bed. My heart started to race, but I knew Astra and I were misunderstanding Mia since she opened the curtains and changed into pajamas despite it being 4 in the afternoon.

It was cold inside Mia's mansion, and it was pouring outside. The dark clouds and heavy rain filled the sky of New York.

My heart continued to race while I tried to convince myself that it was all a misunderstanding.

"Do you want to be the little spoon?" Mia asks me.

Ah… thank god.

"D-do you want to be the little spoon?" I ask, my heart starting to calm down.

"I want to be the big spoon," Mia says with a warm smile.

"O-okay… then I'll be the little spoon,"

"Oh, are you blushing?"

"N-No!" I say, lying down on the bed while facing the window.

I then felt Mia snuggle up from behind me with her brėȧsts pressing against my back. Mia expected me to be even more flustered, but I just felt calmer.

Mia's warmth was nice as we listened to and watched the rain for the rest of the day.

"*yawn*... Lucy, it's time for school," I hear somebody from above me, shaking my body back and forth.

"Just a few more minutes…." I mutter.

"No~ School starts in like 20 minutes. So unless you want to go to school looking like a slob, you better wake up now," The voice continues to rant.

"Then I'll go to school looking like a slob…."

"Lucy… GET UP!" I hear the voice shout as I get sent flying into the air.

As if my fight or flight response activated, I immediately take a fighting stance as I land back on the ground.

I had fully woken up, and all I saw was Mia chuckling to herself after seeing my reaction.

"*yawn*... Fine…" I say, letting down my hands before leaning on Mia's shoulder as we exit the room.

The same maid that always seems to take care of Mia hands me a few slices of toast as well before I put on my sneakers.

Just as I finished putting on my sneakers and eating my slices of toast, Mia quietly and bȧrėly opens her front door, peeking her head out.

"Phew… it seems none of my friends are here today, so we can go to school with just us," Mia says.

"You don't want me to greet your friends?"

"W-well, you know most of them had bullied you before, so I just didn't want you to worry…." Mia says, rubbing the back of her head.

"It's alright... I just won't talk to them," I shrug.

"A-as long as you're okay,"

"Don't worry so much… anyway, and we should get going since school is about to start. Are we taking a private jet or maybe a helicopter or maybe a limo-"

"We can take the teleporter. It's much easier," Mia says, gesturing for me to follow her outside the mansion.

After walking a few blocks, we arrive at a local teleporter… LOCAL TELEPORTER… they could sell a few of these things and improve the slums by 3 fold. But, it's to be expected as these families are greedy and only think of themselves.

"*sigh* I'm not even surprised anymore," I sigh as we both step onto the teleporter.

VWOOM

My vision distorts before arriving at a teleporter near the back of the school.
