"OOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" A long cry could be heard in the distance, and it felt like it would shatter my eardrums.

"Holy shit," I mutter after seeing the silhouette of a massive dinosaur-like creature above the clouds.

BAM

A massive foot the size of a mountain came crashing down right before us, knocking us a few meters back from just the gush of wind that erupted from the titan's step.

I looked around and saw that everybody had wings. We all came to a unanimous decision to immediately use them, as staying on the ground is extremely dangerous, especially when you're right next to the damn thing.

It almost felt natural as I flapped my light green wings, sending me into the air. But, even though I could lift myself off the ground, maneuvering within the air was the hardest part, causing me to crash into Mia.

"S-sorry," I say, rubbing the back of my head as I continued to flap my wings.

"It's alright, now make sure to grip onto your weapon tightly as the left sword is already dangling down," Mia says, rubbing and kissing the back of my head.

"M-Mia!" I shout, jolting my head around to check if anybody noticed us.

Luckily though, nobody saw us as they were all fixated on trying to fly. On the other hand, Mia almost seemed natural as she calmly and efficiently flapped her wings.

"C-can you help me?" I embarrassingly ask as I was still struggling to control myself.

"Of course… now follow me," Mia says as she slowly drags me across the air.

Mia said to think of the wings as your arms. So if you want to bring them down, pull them down, and if you want to bring them up, then bring them up.

And to steer, you mainly use your core and hɨps as your body will follow with the movements… and once I got it down, it was pretty straightforward. But just as Mia was about to praise me, a giant shadow appeared over our heads, causing our faces to turn pale.

FWOOSH

Some of the students gagged at the sight of squashed students even though it was just blood and a few chunks as the titan lifted its foot.

"Phew, that was close-"

Just as Mia wiped the sweat from her forehead, another giant shadow appeared over us, but this time I was able to get out of the way by myself.

As I looked up and back towards where the shadow came from, I saw another titan the same height as the other.

If it weren't for our agile wings and the barren plane below us, allowing optimal movement, we all would've died long ago. And it seems everybody else realized this as they looked back at their wings with respect despite it being an inanimate object.

"WE NEED TO FLY UP!" A boy with blond hair and green eyes shouts, which we instinctively follow.

I wasn't following his suggestion, but I just thought it was a good idea… so I decided to do it. If it weren't a good idea, then I would've just ignored him.

FWOOSH

I feel the wind around me tear as all of us rip through the clouds. Most of us started to gasp for air, only to realize in the next second that we weren't struggling to breathe at all. In fact, the air might've been clearer than it was down below.

"EVERYBODY! WE STILL CAN'T SEE THE HEAD OF THE TITAN! WE NEED TO QUICKLY FIND IT CAUSE I HAVE A GOOD IDEA THAT COULD POTENTIALLY HELP US KILL IT!" The same boy from before shouts.

We all reluctantly follow his suggestion once again while wondering what his idea was… but I had a pretty good idea of what it was.

Since the outer part of the titan was extremely hard, why not kill it from the inside? Sure the muscles and bones are extremely dense and hard, but the organs, on the other hand, might have a chance.

Plus, we can take as many risks as we want because dying in this world doesn't really mean we die.

FWOOSH

We continue to fly even higher as the bodies of 7 titans were walking next to each other, but the head was nowhere to be seen until a girl within the remaining group points out something that makes everybody drop their jaws.

The shadow of something was growing closer towards us, and as I looked up, I saw the neck of the titan quickly coming down on us.

We all gritted our teeth before darting downwards. We weren't going to dodge the neck by going around it, so our only option was to fly downwards as fast as possible.

As we ripped through the air, my eyes started to water, and I felt my consciousness slightly waver until…

BAM

I slammed into Mia's ċhėst.

"Shit," I mutter while rubbing my broken nose and trying to set it back into place.

"Lucy, we're already far enough. The ones still flying down are going to pass out and die, so relax for now," Mia says, rubbing my back as I snap my nose back into place.

There were only 5 more students left, which included me. We were all breathing heavily except for Mia, who was still calm while trying to soothe the rest of the group.

"OOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRR!" Another low-pitched roar almost shattered my eardrums as I bȧrėly clung to my right sword.

The other sword was dangling by the chain, creating extra weight as I slowly flapped my wings tiredly.

"Damn, its neck is long as hell," Mia says, wiping a drop of sweat from her chin.

The titans had all shifted their necks and heads downwards, making their neck and back aligned in one straight line.

"OKAY! THIS IS OUR CHANCE AS THEY AREN'T AS FAR UP ANYMORE!" The same boy from before said.

But this time, we all nodded our heads without any hesitation as we knew we had to put aside our pride if we wanted a chance at beating this thing.

Maybe we could even be the next Z-rank dungeon runners… if that was a thing.

After about 15 minutes of more flying and dodging the titans' swaying necks, we finally managed to close in on one of the titan's heads.

Their massive grey eyeball, the length and width of a skyscraper looked relaxed, almost too relaxed as it was only halfway open.

"ONCE IT OPENS ITS MOUTH ONCE AGAIN, WE CHARGE RIGHT IN! FORGET ABOUT THE EAR-PIERCING ROAR, AS THIS IS OUR ONLY CHANCE! IF WE KILL THIS THING, THEN WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO GAIN RECOGNITION WITHIN OUR FAMILIES… AND THE GIRL OVER THERE MIGHT GET A REWARD!" The boy shouts before hesitating with my part.

"Why are we even bringing her with us? She's dead weight," One of the stuck-up girls within the remaining members say.

Even though I didn't feel much from the girl's comment, Mia was definitely not happy as her glare pierced right into her soul, causing her to shrink back in fear.

"What?! Are you defending this girl?!" The girl tries to push back after gathering all of her confidence into one sentence.

"And what if I am!?"

The girl clicks her tongue before snapping her head in the direction of the titan in front of us.

"OOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRR!" The titan roars, opening its jaws as we see an opportunity present itself to us.
