"Are you okay?!"

She quickly rushes over to me, checking every inch of my body.

I ignore her and respond to the brave of fires response.

"Your power keeps increasing, or you keep unlocking new layers to your power?"

The man's bright smile slightly shifted, and Auntie flinched as well.

"*sigh*... Clever girl," The brave of fire says before walking out of the tent.

I ċȯċked my head to the side like a confused bird as I didn't understand what he meant.

"What does he mean?" I ask.

"You didn't figure it out?" Auntie responds.

"No… I don't think so… He didn't even answer my question,"

"*sigh*... Well, it's not something you should know now," Auntie says as she strokes my hair, filling me with a sense of relief.

"But-"

"Nope. No matter how much you beg, I won't tell you,"

"Fine…"

We soon changed out of our pajamas into some essential clothing that I really hated… A frilly, long, short-sleeved, white dress that matched my pale white hair.

It flowed down to my ankles, clashing with the sneakers that I have always worn.

As I finished putting on the dress, I walked outside, only to be met by the rest of Tolf, who began to gawn over my new appearance.

"Anyway, we're leaving after you brush your teeth and wash up. We can't take a shower no so you'll have to stick with the dirt for a while," Auntie announces to all of us, to which we immediately comply.

We walked to a tank and entered it. It was just large enough for us to fit in it, but I soon realized there was one extra.

"What is she doing here?" I ask after seeing the Whix girl.

It seems she had gone completely blind as she needed help from Astra, who helped her get into the corner of the tank.

The driver was given orders to ignore us completely, and as he was faithful to the braves, he quickly followed those orders and set up a black blanket between him and the back section.

If we wanted, we could control the large gun above, but we wouldn't need to use it due to the insane amount of dungeon runners or just power stone users in general.

"She's gone completely blind, and as she has no family left, so we decided to help her," Astra responds.

"Seriously?"

"Yep,"

"*sigh*... It's whatever… What's your name?"

"S-Sophia Whix,"

I guess we should tell her about Tolf then… It's not like she has anybody else to talk to, as it seems she's not faking her blindness.

She can still look at us though, as she can hear perfectly fine and tell where our voices are coming from.

"Okay, Sophia, do you know about Tolf?" Mia beats me to it.

Everybody snaps their heads towards Mia in shock, but it doesn't seem like she cares.

"U-uh, yes! I do! In fact, I'm a huge fan. I even tried looking for them after my house was destroyed because I knew they were trying to kill the Write family anyway,"

Seeing how flustered she was, we even began to blush from running into our first fan.

"Well, guess what," Aria says, pridefully puffing out her ċhėst.

"We're Tolf,"

"Huh?"

The small room went silent, and Sophia was in shock.

She didn't know what to say. She didn't know what to do.

"Well, now that you know, we have to kill you," Mia says, deepening her voice as if she was pretending to be a villain.

"W-what! N-no! I won't tell anybody! I-I p-promise!"

We all chuckled to ourselves as it was clear Mia was joking, but as Sophia couldn't see her expression, she obviously thought it was real.

"Nope~ Now that you know, we might even have to torture you before you die, so you make sure to forget in the afterlife," Electra adds.

"I-I-I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me,"

The others kept adding on until she began to cry, which then Astra began to comfort her, explaining it was all a joke.

"S-so *sniff* you're not Tolf?"

"Well, we are… but you can't tell anybody," I say.

"I-I promise I won't tell!"

'Holy shit, she's so cute….' Nuala says through the hivemind.

'I know, right! She's like a little sister that we get to tease!" Clio adds.

'I still don't really like her,' I complain.

'Well, that's your opinion,' Clio responds.

"Okay, enough with teasing. You can go sleep now. I noticed you were really tired this morning so how about you get some rest," Astra comforts the still crying Sophia.

'Well, good luck,' Ethel says before leaning back onto the smooth metal wall.

…

A few days had passed and each day was the same.

Wake up. Brush our teeth. Maybe take a shower. Change into some new, uncomfortable, blank clothes. If it is our day, we help Sophia with all the basic necessities. Then, we get onto the tank, travel the entire day. Once it's dark, we get off, set up camp, and go to sleep.

"Hey, we're about to arrive at our destination… So, will you give me an answer?"

"*sigh*... No thanks," I reply before walking away.

"Hey, who was that?" Auntie asks as I arrive at our tent.

"Somebody confessed to me," I reply nonchalantly before jumping onto the large bed.

"Oh, I ȧssume you rejected them,"

"Then what about my proposal?"

"What proposal?"

"Have you already forgotten?"

"Just kidding… I need more time to think," I respond before closing my eyes.

It was the dead of night and the slight crackling of fire could be heard in the distance.

A few men were drinking their lives away so their laughing and shouting slowly mingled with a crackling fire, creating an unpleasant tune that prevented me from falling asleep.

"What are you thinking about? Is there something wrong with becoming my daughter?" Auntie asks as she sits beside me.

"Yes…"

"What?"

"I feel like I'm betraying my own mother… mother… my mother… Mother! Her grave! It's still in New York!"

I jump out of bed but Auntie stops me from leaving.

"Get off of me! I forgot to get her! I forgot… I forgot…"

How could I be so stupid! I forgot to get her! Even if she has already decomposed, I could've at least grabbed the gravestone! The dirt! Anything…

Slowly, tears ran down my face as I cursed my stupidity.

"Ah, shit… I forgot as well,"

I looked up towards Auntie's face and noticed that she was genuine.

Her face was furled as she cursed her own stupidity as well, but she managed to get over it in no time.

"Shit… I'll get somebody to retrieve the gravestone. Don't worry… It's okay,"

Aunty's voice was soothing.

So soothing it almost acted as a lullaby, putting me to sleep.
