I need to start leveling up again… I hope the portals in this city are worthwhile.

"First, let's get something to eat!" Auntie shouts, dragging me towards the nearest restaurant while my friends follow.

We got a quick bite to eat consisting of pizza, burgers, and fries… and unsurprisingly, Electra ate the most once again. In fact, she ate half of the food ordered.

"*sigh*... I'm full," Electra says, patting her bloated stomach.

"Just full?" Nuala asks.

"Yeah… I think I might've eaten a bit too much, though,"

"A bit?" Ethel asks.

"Just a bit,"

"Well… I guess it's time to tell you the proposition that Lucy suggested. It is completely up to your decision, and I will give you as much time as you need to think… as this is pretty important," Auntie says.

Here it comes…

"So… Lucy is going to have to live with me for the next 3-5 years due to a special circumstance, and she will continuously be under my monitorization. I will not only be monitoring her but also training and teaching her some things,"

"Uh-huh," We all said unanimously while nodding our head.

Auntie was sort of creeped out by that but just shook it off before continuing.

"So, you all have the chance to live with us for the next 3-5 years. I know some of you have lost your parents, your family, siblings… but you might have family in other countries, so please think carefully about this,"

"Will we also get trained?" Clio asks.

"Of course,"

Everybody's eyes lit up except for Sophia, who seemed to be troubled by something.

"Of course… I will also teach you how to sense your surroundings without sight. I'm pretty sure most of the girls here can already do that anyway so they can help," Auntie replies, and tears begin to drip from Sophia's eyeballs that were like that of a blank canvas.

Astra comforted her as she cried into her collarbone.

We soon left the fast-food chain while pondering over our answers and made our way towards a large luxurious hotel where we would be staying for the next couple of days.

"How much money do you girls have?" Auntie asks us as she signs in to our already prepared rooms.

We all had our own small luxurious suites, which were split into two sections, holding two pools for all of us to swim in.

It was near the skyline, and each pool was made from glass, allowing us to watch down into the city.

Upon reaching our floor, which held only our rooms, we slammed the doors open and jumped onto the pillowy and almost bouncy beds that seemed to suck me in.

"*sigh*... I'm tired," I mutter before closing my eyes.

…

Everybody had fallen asleep already, but I felt refreshed entirely, so I decided to take a refreshing bath.

I sweat a lot when I sleep, especially when taking a nap, so I also wanted to clean myself from the sticky feeling plastered along my skin.

"*sigh*,"

After sighing once more, I lifted myself out of bed and made my way to the floor's community bath.

It was for people who wanted to socialize while bathing, so I guess it wasn't that strange… well, kind of… at least we get to wear bathing suits in there.

But, I didn't wear a bathing suit as nobody was awake.

Slowly, I dipped my foot into the warm water and then reached the white tile right at the very bottom of the bath.

But just as I was about to change from temperature to blazing hot as warm wasn't even slightly warm to me, somebody opened the door to the bathing room.

I scrambled to my towel, immediately wrapping it around me upon grabbing it.

"It's okay, it's me," A warm voice says.

"Ah, Auntie, shouldn't you be sleeping?"

"I couldn't sleep because I was worried about you. You looked a bit sick when I walked into your room earlier,"

"I can't get sick,"

"Oh yeah,"

She chuckled to herself a bit before taking a dip in the water.

She was completely nȧkėd, so I snapped my head around.

"Why aren't you wearing any clothes?"

"Cause it's a bath. I don't care if its a requirement to wear bathing suits in here, I'm gonna take a bath with no clothes on,"

But just as I was about to leave, she pulled me towards her ŀȧp.

"I thought you liked milfs?"

I knew she wouldn't do anything, which is why I was so calm.

"I do; I just want to hug you," Auntie says.

It's warm…

"So… what's your answer?"

I sighed before raking my way out of Aunty's grasp, leaving her with a frown as I wrapped a towel around myself and left the bathing room.

Once I had finished changing into my onesie, Auntie came out of the bath, a frown still plastered on her face.

"So, is that a no?"

…

(Tiana POV)

I mean, it makes sense… I left her when I said I'd protect her and be there for her… That might've allowed her to become closer with her girlfriend, but of course, that means she'll resent me.

I couldn't help but sigh as I saw her leave the changing room in her cute little onesie.

Her face showed no expression.

"Also, those were wings," I mutter as the door slams behind her.

They were green wings, something I've never seen before on a monster.

I decided to set the complicated details away and enjoy my vacation away from the bloody front lines.

As soon as I leave the changing room and open the door to my room, I see Lucy sitting on my bed, her legs crossed and her head facing down.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Yes," She mutters.

"Huh?"

"Yes!" She shouts.

I was confused for a split second before I began to leak tears.

"You want to be my daughter?"

"Yes,"

I ran over to her, hugging her tightly before laying down on the bed with her.

Her eyes were calm, unwavering like somebody I knew.

Even when she was a bit flustered, she always seemed to stare through me as if she was reading my every move, thought, and decision.

"You're just like her," I mutter while my new daughter buries her face into my stomach, holding me tightly as if she didn't want me to leave ever again.

Calculative. So calculative, I wonder how your brain doesn't overheat. So calculative, I can almost hear the gears turning…

"It's okay… I won't leave ever again," I mutter once again before I hear light snores coming from Lucy.

Goodnight… Sweet dreams.
