Chapter 51: Blood War Part 5

While Ug was laughing mockingly because he knew his enemy wouldn’t be able to kill him as he had already vowed to the Guardian Tree. However, he miscalculated something. Vir covered his right foot with Life Energy, then stomped it to the Bald Man’s right arm.

“AHHHHHH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!” Ug screamed in pain. He was confused why his opponent still attack him after making a vow. “ARE YOU BREAKING YOUR VOW TO THE GUARDIAN TREE?! ARE YOU NOT AFRAID THAT YOU AND YOUR TRIBE WILL DIE MISERABLY?!”

“What do you mean?” Vir asked with a straight face. “I vow that I will not kill you and will let you go, but I never said I will not hurt you before I do that.”

After saying that, Vir raised his right foot again, this time he stomped it on the Bald Man’s right foot, crushing its bone. Vir stopped after crushing 2 limbs of his enemy, he knew that it would be almost impossible to recover from that injury.

He just wanted to snap the possible revenge of the Bald Man, he respected the vow he made to the Guardian Tree, so he had no intention to kill his opponent.

“You better move far away from us, if I see you again, I will kill you without mercy,” Said Vir while preparing to go back.

He left Ug screaming and rolling in pain, Vir wanted to go back and finish the war as soon as possible. Even though he wanted to directly go back to his tribe, he couldn’t. Because he needed to finish the battle here first, so he could be reassured that these enemies here would not be able to step inside his tribe.

Meanwhile, Rag, Katar, Cora, and Saki were still fighting with each other. While Pug’s dead body was lying on the ground still holding his bleeding neck, Bear was also sitting on the ground putting medicinal herbs on his shoulder. He didn’t have any more strength to help the other Leaders fight, he also had no desire to interfere with them.

Rag and Katar’s fight were nearing its end, Rag’s Body was now full of wounds and covered with blood, but all of the wounds were superficial. Although Katar was still not hit even a single time, his breathing was heavy, clearly tired of all the movement he did while fighting.

Even though Katar seemed to be winning their fight, his facial structure says differently. Rag was still calm as if he controlled the fight, while Katar was frowning. Katar used every move he had, but no matter what he did, he couldn’t land a fatal wound on his enemy.

In doing so, his stamina depleted faster than his opponent. He knew that if the fight continued this way, sooner or later he was going to be hit by the massive hammer. While he was thinking, he noticed in the corner of his sight the fight between Saki and Cora, then an idea came to his mind.

Cora and Saki’s fight were still monotonous, there were some instances that changed it that caused both of their injuries. However, their fight always came back to repeated action. While this monotonous fight was continuing, a sudden interference changed the balance between the two.

Cora was charging toward Saki when a stone knife suddenly hit her on her leg. Because of this, she rolled several times before stopping. She was puzzled by the sudden attack that cause injury to her right leg.

“What are you doing interfering in my fight Katar!” Saki asked while frowning. She was not mad that Katar suddenly help her, she was just confused by the sudden interference.

“Go finish your fight quickly and help me with mine!” Explained Katar. “Pug is dead! if that burly man recovers and decided to help his ally, we are f*cked! Finish it and help me before that happen!”

Rag was also surprised by his enemy’s action, he didn’t expect that his opponent would steep so low. Now, that he heard what Katar said to the other Leader, he started to become worried. He was already having a hard time dealing with a single enemy, and if the other Leader defeated Cora and decided to help his opponent, he was sure that he would lose.

“Bear! Are you not done resting!” Rag yelled. “If you do, can you help us out?!”

Bear also wanted to help his teammate, but his injury to his shoulder was more serious than he thought. Even though he had been resting for a while, the pain in his shoulder was not lessening, in fact, it was starting to worsen.

“I cannot help you! My injury is worse than I thought!” Bear informed his allies.

Rag was now starting to feel anxious, he felt that he needed to finish the fight as soon as possible. However, he was not confident that he could defeat his enemy if he chose to be aggressive. This was one of Katar’s plans, he wanted his enemy to become aggressive. Therefore, he could wound him more easily.

When Katar saw that his opponent was contemplating what he needed to do, he decided to help him and push him one more time. He pulled out another stone knife on his waist and aimed it again at Cora. Rag finally made his decision when he saw his enemy was trying to attack Cora again, he charged while the massive hammer was behind him.

Rag swung his hammer horizontally when his enemy reach the range of his weapon, but this time Katar was the one who didn’t take action and just evaded the attack. He wanted to exhaust his enemy by forcing him to attack him, and with his speed, he was confident that he could dodge any attack Rag threw at him.

Rag did not stop with a single attack, he swung his weapon sideways 3 times and then jumped to make a big attack. However, all of it was easily evaded by his enemy. Katar saw an opportunity when Rag did a big attack. Because of that attack, Rag couldn’t move fast enough and Katar use this slow movement to dash in and stabbed his enemy on the side of his waist, then retreat again.

Rag groaned because of the stab, although he covered his waist with Life Energy, it didn’t matter as his enemy also coated his knife with Life Energy. Katar licked the blood on his knife and laughed because his plan was working.

If he knew that he could do this earlier he would have done so. Bear tried to stand up when he saw his allies were losing, but no matter how much he tried, he just couldn’t. He felt that his body was a little numb and couldn’t control them properly. Therefore, he decided to help in another way.

He picked up a stone from the ground, then coat it with Life Energy. After that, he threw it to Katar. Katar was about to throw his knife again at Cora when his enemy didn’t attack him again, he didn’t want him to rest even a second. However, before he could throw it, his body was hit by something.

When Katar turn his head to look what was the thing that hit him, he saw a stone. He furrowed his eyebrows, and even though the force was not strong, it was still enough to hurt him with his skinny body. Before he could determine where the stone came from, another one was heading his way.

Katar jumped back to evade it, then assess where the stone came from, and he realize who was the culprit. He was displeased by this, he didn’t even think that his enemy would copy him. When he saw that Bear was going to toss another stone at him, he preceded him by throwing his knife, aiming at the hand holding the stone.

Because Bear couldn’t control his body like he used to, he wasn’t able to avoid the attack and got hit on his right hand. As the consequence, he stopped his action. Then a sudden scream attracted their attention, it was Cora. Saki caught her neck with her whip and started pulling her closer to her.

Because of the injury to her leg, Cora’s movement decreased drastically, leading to her being caught by her enemy.  She struggled as her enemy slowly choked her to death, she couldn’t do anything because she dropped her weapon when she got injured on her leg.

Rag saw that Cora was endangered, but when he tried to run and help her, Katar jump in front of him and stop him. Rag tried to force Katar to move away. Nonetheless, he couldn’t do it. In the next moment, Cora’s grumbles disappeared as her neck broke and she died in suffocation.

“HAHAHAHA! You maybe have a pretty face, but it is useless if you are dead!” Saki laughed maniacally. She was really annoyed by Cora’s pretty face, but now she was ecstatic after killing her.

“Saki! Stopped laughing and help me with this one!” Katar said disgusted by her laugh. “we just need to deal with this guy and we will win!”

“Fine! You cannot even give me time to enjoy myself!” Saki replied with contempt.

Rag was angry, but at the same time anxious. He was angry because he couldn’t help Cora, and he was anxious as he knew that it was only a matter of time before he would lose. However, he didn’t give up. He readied himself putting his massive hammer in front of him, showing that he was ready for any attack.
