On the streets of Ilifel, with the lively atmosphere and the sound from the busy avenue, merchants selling goods, and customers happily chatting about everyday life, Amethely and Keilyn walked past many admirers of the Saint and Oracle. Kei, who was practically teasing Amethely the whole way, Amethely just takes the blows head on one after the other. She felt glad that her friend. Who used to be so overprotective of her, especially when it came to men, act like this. But that didn’t make her less embarrassed. “...I-I’m already down! You don’t have to tease me anymore! Jeez, Kei!” Keilyn, who sees her friend pouting, laughs it off. “C’mon, Ame, this is your first time crushing on a guy. Why would I not?” Amethely shyly looked away, saying, “that’s because you always chase them away…” in a low voice. “Whaaat~? Isn’t that because you had no interest in them anyways?” Keilyn said, facing Amethely while tilting her head with a big grin. “This is the first guy you like. I’m not getting in your way; I just got in their way. (... What Kei said is true; all the guys, until this point, have been very persistent no matter how many times I rejected them…. In the end, Kei was the one chasing them away.) Thinking this, Amethely remembered, (Kei should be very popular too… How did she deal with them?) But she was still afraid to ask.

Now at the cafe they usually visited, they each ordered sweets; Keilyn ordered black tea with honey, and Amethely went with black coffee. After graduation, they would come together to this cafe once or twice a week. While they often met back in the dorm, Keilyn didn’t have much time to spend, and she was busy all day with paperwork and visiting places. Their roles differed a lot. Amethely would usually spend her days developing magic and testing it out. She would then later submit it to the magic library. And on her free time, she would refine her sword skills. But now her schedule has changed. She was in charge of teaching the wanderers and recruits with her big sister and Princess Luna. She now had more time for herself in the evening. With this, Amethely hoped to invite Alum out once she mustered up her courage! She had used almost all of it when she removed Alum’s amulet yesterday. But when she saw him today, he didn’t wear it. Although it made her a little gloomy, she understood that he didn’t need it anymore since he had his mana under control. In other words, she couldn't pull off the same stunt.

Keilyn, who was sitting facing Amethely, saw that her friend's facial expression had changed every second. She thought it was funny how clumsy her friend was. (Although she usually is clumsy, this is that kind, huh?) So she decided to have a little fun. “Hey Ame, why aren’t you in disguise today?” Upon hearing this, Amethely went quiet. (Maybe she forgot?) Keilyn thought. “... People recognize me anyways,” Amehtely said in a whisper. “Oh? You realized that now?” Keilyn teased her. “And you didn’t say anything.” Amehtely sulked. “He~he~ I just found it adorable~, so I didn’t say anything!” This comment, of course, did not help. “All this time… and you didn’t tell me. I’m hurt, you know!” Amethely said while puffing her cheeks that had some cream on the left side. This sight only made Keilyn try not to laugh. Which only agitated Amethely more, “hey! No laughing! Hmpf!”

After Keilyn apologized a bunch, Amethely admitted that she wasn’t actually angry about it. Still, she felt hurt that Keilyn didn’t say anything, which, of course, was compensated with sweets and coffee. “Don’t think you will always get out like this every time….” Amethely said while eating the cream puffs Keilyn ordered for her. “Worked wonders so far,” Keilyn commented. Which only reminded Amethely that it did actually work every time. “... Next time won’t,” Amethely said hesitantly. Keilyn couldn’t help but giggle. And decided to switch topics, “by the way, how is it going with that Alum guy?” Keilyn suddenly asked. Upon hearing this, Amethely’s mood brightens. “Hehe~ I believe he likes me too!” It was said with such a bright smile that Keilyn was blinded. (Do Saints infuse their smiles with light magic?) While Keilyn had weird thoughts, Amethely continued. “I even signed myself up to become an instructor so I could see him again! And then…. It turns out that he does things independently from the others…. While also being able to cast an unknown spell on his first attempt, he even befriended Princess Luna….” At this point, Amethely was on the verge of tears. Her plan of teaching him magic failed before it even began. And he even became friends with Princess Luna, while she isn’t even his friend yet!

Thinking about it only made her feel more down. Keilyn, on the other hand, sips her tea while enjoying the sweets and her friend's anxiety. “In other words, you want to spend more time with him?” Keilyn added while nibbling on her cream puff. “That’s right! I-it’s just that I’m not sure how we can spend more time together… we’re just acquainted….” Amethely said, facing downwards. Keilyn thought looking at her friend who was distressed because of love was fun, but now she started to feel sorry for her. “A-ah… why don’t you ask him out to play?” She said. Then Amethely's eyes sparkled. “You’re right! Thank you, Kei! I love you!” After hearing Amehtely say this, keilyn signed of relief. (Jeez, you’re usually so intelligent and talented, albeit clumsy, but this is a first. To the point of just inviting him didn’t cross your mind.)

“Oh, by the way, what is sis Chely doing? She was initially supposed to come with us, wasn’t she? Keilyn asked. To be honest, Amethely wasn’t entirely sure either. She thought while she ate her sweets.  “Hmm, she said something about volunteering to clean the back alleys, but I’m not sure big sis’s done that before.” Hearing Amethely’s answer Keilyn also got confused. (Why would she need to clean the back alleys? It made little to no sense because cleaning workers are doing that… Oh well,) she thought.

In a clothing store not too far away from where Ame and Keilyn were, Alum and Noel were waiting for Luna and Miu. Miu picks clothes she thinks would fit Luna. Although Luna was embarrassed to try the clothes Miu picked for her, she didn’t complain, tried every single one, and even began to enjoy it. Luna, who was usually very quiet and expressionless, had softened up enough for Miu to make her a dress-up doll. Every time she came out of the dressing room, she would show Alum how she looked, and he would praise her. And whenever she made eye contact with Noel, she would be oddly smug about it. Noel, who wasn’t having any of it, said, “hey Al, you will eventually invite the Saint on a date, right?” Hearing this, the usually calm and collected Alum stuttered a bit. “... W-who knows.” He was flustered. The question was pretty much out of nowhere from his perspective. “Oh, come on, I saw you look around more than usual; I even overheard some locals giving you advice. They even seemed happy when you asked about it. It’s like they all know a little about a certain something, yes?” Alum couldn’t deny it. Ever since he met Ame, the locals have been extra friendly, or well some not so. But where was Noel going with this? Alum wondered.

Then Noel suggested. “How about I help you pick some clothes for that?” This question made Alum ponder, it wasn’t like he had a terrible sense of style, but Noel was way better at this. So, he decided to accept. “Sure,” he said, not knowing what he got himself into. Miu, who overheard, joined in and said, “that’s a great idea!”
