Trina's POV

I opened my eyes trying to make sense of where I was. As my vision come into focus, I awoke to such devastation that I felt like throwing up. There was a lot of blood splattered everywhere and all the blood trails led back to me. I couldn't seem to remember any details about what had happened or even who I was. Was I the one responsible for the aftermath of the carnage before me? Why and how did I do this? Looking at myself I was covered with bloody clothes all torn up and full of burns on them. What act of animosity had I performed toward these poor creatures. So many animals dead scattered all over the place. It truly was a gory sight to behold. I stood up and tried to take one step as my body felt weak from the devastating sight in front of me. With one step I found myself slammed into a tree several steps away from me.

"How did I get here? Wasn't I just at the tree about  250 steps away(200m)? How did I travel all that distance in a second?"

Before I could formulate any answers to my question, a screeching noise filled my ears. What was happening? The loud noise was too much to bear. I tried to look for the animal but my vision kept on speeding up and slowing down. At one time I was seeing normally then suddenly it was as if time was slowing down. They suddenly stopped slowing down time and started to shift focus between clear vision and a sort of red and blue vision. What was happening to me? I just want this horror to end. I tried moving as cautiously as possible so as not to trigger the insane speed I had. As I moved toward the sunlight my body seemed to calm down. All my heightened senses were slowly being regulated. Looks like the sun was the thing I needed to calm down.

I looked around and saw a fruit tree at a far distance. I was feeling a little bit peckish so this was good timing. I walked towards the tree, taking each step under the scorching sun trying as hard as I can to avoid any shade. After a nice walk, I was at the tree but I feared going under the shade of the tree since my senses would be heightened again. Having no other choice, I decided that I would endure it just enough to get what I needed. When I walked under the shade my senses were heightened but not as much as before. It seemed that somehow I was now in control. It was like I had done this before but I was not doing anything. Thank goodness that nightmare was over. I indulge in the splendour that the tree offered, eating to my fill. I then enjoyed the shade it offered. Nighttime was fast approaching and I had no place to sleep. Before I could move an inch to set up camp, I was overcome with an overwhelming thirst. I hurried all over searching for water. When I found some and was heading towards it, my strength left me and I blacked out. I woke up to find that morning had already come and the scene that met my eyes was as before. Decapitated animals were all over and I was as bloody as before. I walked straight to the river to wash the layers of blood that had covered my entire body. What kind of a monster was I?  Why surely would I have such a monstrous nature? At first, I was planning to look for a nearby town where I could get some aid but now seeing what am capable of doing to animals I didn't want to do the same to humans. I decided to look for the most inhabitable place so that I could live alone and not harm any other living thing anymore. I continued walking towards the region I felt the least amount of movement. After walking for some time I came face to face with a wall of black mist. This seemed like a place where no living being would live. In  I walked straight into the mist, as I walked through the mist a purple reddish hue formed around me. I didn't know what that was about. After passing through the mist I found myself moving towards a desert. There were no signs of life. I continued with my journey as slowly as possible searching for places I could set up a home but this was very hard and tiring.

The ground underneath my feet started to rumble. I could feel, something huge approaching. Giving up I decided to let it take my life so that my misery would end. A huge wyrm busted out of the sand-covered ground. When it attacked me, my body moved on its own protecting itself as if it already knew what to do. I used the super human speed, not at top speed because of inhibition from the sun but at enough speed to outrun the thing. When I stopped I found that I had entered into a sort of barrier. I could no longer see the desert. In front of me was a huge gate, this was not good as it means I have arrived at a settlement. Not having any more strength to continue I passed out
