Chapter 60: Another Out of Body Experience

Rae's POV

I now have permission to use any of the dungeons in the kingdom. Now, what comes next is to perfect my skills so that I may not find it hard to conquer the dungeons. But first I need to fix my fire magic problem. Fire is really vital as offensive magic. 

So why do my fire magic circles collapse every time I invoke them. I remember Liza speaking of a new energy brewing inside me. Maybe understanding this New energy might help me understand why my fire magic circles keep on collapsing.

"Liza could you explain this new energy inside me that you talked of for me to understand."

[The energy mainly consists of the electrons that you carried over from your previous world to this world. These electrons have acquired new characteristics and now act in the same way mana of this world does.]

"Okay, but I had believed them to have dissipated into this world when I become a vampire."

[They did not dissipate into this world. They only escaped to a finite space out of the current dimension we reside in.]

"You mean to say they escaped to a pocket dimension that exists in our current universe? There are pocket dimensions in this universe!! How many are there?"

[I currently cannot compute the number but their existence has been made apparent.]

Okay so they disappeared immediately I became a vampire and returned Immediately I become a vampire queen. Then that would mean the magic skill that Trina was using was an ability that allowed her to access a pocket dimension. The electrons must have disappeared into that pocket dimension when Trina made me into a vampire and after our duel, I unconsciously brought them back. This also means I can access that pocket dimension. But how, maybe I need to practice, but what exactly am I practising? I just wish Trina was here. Speaking of which shouldn't the other vampires have found her by now? Maybe she decided to go back to the demon world? Trina has always been a mystery to me.

Back to the Fire magic thing. If my fire magic is acting up due to the existence of 'mana electrons' in my system maybe I can use the mana electrons to power the spell. But will the spirits accept these mana electrons? Well, we will just have to try it out and see what happens.

How exactly do I access these mana electrons?

"Liza, how do I access the electrons you spoke of?"

[I do not have the answer to that question. All I know is when you try to use fire magic or light magic they react to it.]

"Wait did you say light magic? I have not used light magic at all since the duel. So does that mean my light magic is also a mess? Let me try conjuring up a light magic circle."

When I conjured up a simple light magic spell it worked. Then what was the problem with fire magic then?

"Liza why can I use light magic and not use fire magic if the mana electrons are affecting both."

[ I do not know the reason behind it but the electrons are amplifying your light magic while they are condensing your fire magic.]

"Now that you mention it, my light magic spell seemed a little bit stronger than before."

Why is my fire magic being condensed? If they are still fundamentally electrons maybe I can conduct them away.

Maybe if I create a new fire magic circle and introduce a symbol for forcing them to be conducted away I may be able to get my fire magic back.

I tried doing so and the results I imagine were catastrophic. I assume there was a big blowback from the spell for now I see the usual abyss I am used to. Endless darkness, wait what is this blinding light? Why is everything so bright? I am drowning in so much bright blinding light. 

After a few seconds, the intensity of the light started to reduce. Then the blurry images of what I assume to be the interior of a castle started to form. A woman with crimson hair is what first came to my eyes, is that Trina? Yeah, that is definitely Trina. Has my mind travelled to the past again? What that can't be it? Then what is this? The blinding light intensified again and my vision was completely obscured by it. I had no sense of what was happening? Then the blurry images of five figures started to be seen as the bright light slowly subsided. When it become clear to make out the features I could see a male elf a little dark like Violet, a woman with spider-like features, a human man a little bit on the hairy side, a human woman and a not so human woman who looked to be extremely attractive. The blinding light intensified again repeating the process twice. The first time I saw an extremely attractive human man who sort of had features resembling the not so human woman with Trina and the other five people I had seen before. The second time I saw Trina with a girl who had ginger coloured hair with purple highlights, she also had black angel-like wings with crimson highlights on her back. Was she a celestial? She couldn't be could she? I thought celestials only had white wings? After seeing all those I returned to my body.

I still wasn't sure where I had gone, was that the past or was it the future. Can I see the future? And if it was the future then what does all that mean?

I was now on my bed. Eleanor and the foreign princess were each at one of the sides of my bed.

"Are you alright my Que... lady? A large bolt of lightning seems to have struck you. I found you unconscious and took you to your bed."

"Don't worry it was just a magical experiment gone wrong."

"You shouldn't be careless with your life my Lady. Even if you are a vamp... I mean even if you are hard to kill you shouldn't treat your life so carelessly"

"Okay, Eleanor I understand. Sorry for making you worry."

"So do you need me to help you with anything?"

"Not at all. I am good. Thank you for your concern."

"Okay, let us let you rest."

"Thank you very much."

I am still not sure if I had gone to the future. If that was the future then who were those people with Trina? Thinking about it too much won't give me the answers I need. Let me work on becoming stronger all will be revealed in due time.
